Take a few nice deep breaths.
You might want to visualize breathing in a beautiful golden light down to the top of your head,
Running down your spine into your heart.
Breathing that golden light,
That love that fills your heart.
Your whole heart getting golden.
As you breathe out,
You can send that light all the way through your body as a blessing to your body.
In the light,
Fill up the heart and breathe it out to the whole body.
At the same time,
Calling your guide,
Your helpers to be with you in this exercise.
Helpers,
You can see coming down in the light as well.
The whole presence filling your mind and body,
There to help and love you and heal you.
Now if this exercise,
You just want to stay in the light,
You have full permission.
Then turn to your guides and say,
Who is it that I'm not at peace with at the moment?
Someone alive or dead,
Someone on the TV,
Someone you know.
Please show me where there's still forgiveness needed,
Where I need to turn this into a holy relationship.
Just let someone come,
Present themselves to you.
Already you may have chosen someone.
Can you see that person standing in front of you?
Someone comes,
Just choose someone you don't like.
This is a holy encounter.
The person you're looking at is your saviour.
For they're showing you something unhealed in you,
Something you haven't forgiven in yourself.
Otherwise you'd only have compassion for their behaviour.
Thank this brother or sister for showing you something in your unconscious.
You may not be aware of the details,
But you know you're upset in their presence,
In their memory.
So thank them for being your teacher,
For being your mirror.
You have brought something up in me that I haven't healed,
Otherwise I'd have compassion for you.
You could try asking your guides.
What is this person showing me?
What is it that's unhealed in me?
Just be quiet and receptive,
Hope some picture will come,
Some memory.
Why have I chosen to dislike this person?
See this person changing to you,
You're looking at you now.
What is that in you that you don't like,
You can't forgive?
What behaviour in you is similar to that other person?
Where do you feel it in your body?
Where do you feel it in your mind?
Do you hold this negativity?
If you can,
You can place an accepting hand there.
Just look at it,
Its size,
Its shape,
Its colour,
The depth it goes into your body,
Just welcome it.
Don't judge it,
You made it.
When you're with this person,
What you've made comes up.
That person does not have the power to create what you're feeling in your body now.
It's your response to not forgiving this in yourself.
Maybe you see the cause,
Maybe you don't,
But you recognise the feeling.
And you accept it,
It's this child I've created.
Let some picture,
Some symbol come up,
It can be anything.
Don't try and make it,
Just let it arise in yourself.
Perhaps it can give you the message,
The answer.
Say to it,
Please speak to me,
Tell me about yourself,
I've created you.
How do you feel?
Why are you there?
I'm listening.
Try and accept whatever you feel,
Whatever it tells you.
It's just a messenger.
You're not sinned.
You're just discovering something in yourself you need to accept.
And be ready to let it go,
If you want to let it go.
Ask yourself,
Is it time to be free now?
Do you no longer want this?
Or do you feel you need to keep it for some reason?
Make a choice.
If you feel you need to keep it a bit longer,
Just make this symbol spall and put it in your heart,
And look down at it with acceptance.
If you feel it's time to be free,
Ask your guides to come,
Surround you,
See their arms open.
And they will happily let this symbol move towards them,
Where it will take it,
And take it into the light,
Into peace,
Into happiness.
And you thank you for the lesson,
Showing you what you needed to forgive.
As it leaves,
It leaves a space within you,
And return back to the golden light,
Breathing exercise,
Bring more golden light,
More love down into your head,
Into your body,
And let it fill the space where that picture,
That symbol is left.
And feel the peace of that.
Just carry on breathing for a short while,
Fill that space.
And as you do that,
See the person reappear in front of you.
And now you see them as your teacher,
As someone very valuable that showed you something that needed forgiving.
See if you can thank that person,
Give them a smile.
If you can,
Give them a hug,
And wish them peace.
See if you can thank that person,
Give them a smile.
If you can,
Give them a hug,
And wish them peace,
And joy in their life.
And when you're ready,
Just bring yourself back into your room,
Accepting how far you've got with the exercise.
And then open your eyes.
