Find a comfortable seat and close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in and a long open mouth exhale.

Allow your breath to deepen.

Fear is a very human and normal emotion that can feel strong and overwhelming.

But it does not have to control our life or stop us in our tracks.

Let's create space around our fear response right now so we can manage it with more ease and find our courage using EFT tapping and visualization.

Take another deep breath in and a long open mouth exhale.

Scan your body now and take note of where you are feeling this fear in your body.

How would you describe the fear arising in your body?

How strong is this fear feeling in your body right now?

Ten being a very strong sense of fear and one being a very small sense of fear.

Choose a number between one and ten.

Begin now gently tapping the outside of the hand,

The karate chop point.

The side of the hand that the pinky finger is connected to.

Even though I feel this fear,

Right now I am choosing to support myself with love and acceptance.

Even though I feel this fear in my body,

I love and accept myself anyway.

Even though this fear is arising,

I am open to deeply loving,

Accepting and supporting myself.

Tapping the top of the head,

All this fear.

Tapping the inner eyebrow point between the eyebrows.

I feel this fear in my body.

Tapping the side of the eye,

The temple.

I am feeling so afraid.

Tapping below the nose,

This fear feels so overwhelming.

Tapping the chin,

This fear is so stressful.

Tapping the chest just below the collar bones with both hands.

Even though I am feeling this fear,

I am okay right now.

I am choosing to support myself right now.

With love,

Acceptance and forgiveness.

Take a deep breath in and a long slow exhale.

Tapping the top of the head.

I am witnessing this fear.

Tapping the inner eyebrow point.

Witnessing from a place of love,

Acceptance and forgiveness.

Tapping outside the eye.

I can see how this fear is impacting my life.

Tapping below the eye.

This situation has come up and triggered me into fear.

Below the nose,

I have learned to react to this situation with fear.

Tapping the chin.

But I can respond differently.

Tapping below the collar bones on the chest.

I am open to responding to this situation with acceptance.

I am open to responding to this situation with forgiveness.

I am open to responding to this situation with love.

Take a deep breath in and a long exhale out.

Tapping the top of the head.

Even as I feel this fear,

I can love and accept myself.

Tapping the inner eyebrow point.

Even in this fear,

I can forgive myself.

And forgive others.

Tapping the side of the eye,

The temple.

Even though I feel this fear,

Right now I choose love and acceptance.

Tapping below the nose.

I accept what I am feeling right now.

This is just an emotion.

Tapping the chin.

I am not this fear.

I am simply experiencing it.

Even below the collar bones,

Chest.

I can also experience love and acceptance.

Even as I face this fear.

Take a deep breath in and a long exhale out.

Tapping the top of the head.

I choose to create space around this fear.

Tapping the inner eyebrow point.

I am creating space for a new response to this situation.

Tapping the side of the eye.

This fear does not have to control me.

This fear does not control me.

Tapping below the nose.

I am focusing on the courage that comes from my heart.

Tapping the chin.

I am creating space within myself to breathe more deeply.

Collar bone points.

I am open to breathing deeply into my courage.

Top of the head.

I feel the support all around me.

Inner eyebrow point.

I see my many strengths.

Side of the eye.

I am breathing deeply into my strength.

Below the nose.

I am supported by a divine force all around me.

Chin.

Tapping the chin.

I am connected to a deep wisdom within me.

Tapping below the collar bones.

This wisdom and strength grows as I choose love and acceptance.

I am breathing deeply into my calm and courageous center.

I choose to focus on my calm and courageous center.

Resting both hands over the center of your chest.

One on top of the other.

Take three deep breaths into the center of your chest.

Into your heart center.

Deep inhales and long exhales.

Breathe deeply into your calm and courageous center.

Stay focused on your calm and courageous center.

What colors do you see there?

What sounds come from your calm and courageous center?

What smells come from your calm and courageous center?

Take these colors,

Smells and sounds now above your head as though they were a balloon of energy.

Begin to breathe them into you now.

Through your body.

From the crown of your head.

Breathe them into every cell in your brain.

Breathe this color into every cell in your face.

Let this energy move through your neck and shoulders.

Breathe it into your chest.

Down your arms.

All the way to your fingertips.

Let the energy of your courageous center fill your belly.

Breathe this color and sound and smell into your belly and down into your hips.

Through your legs and all the way to your feet.

Feel your whole body filled with this energy,

With this color and sound and smell.

So filled with the energy of your calm,

Courageous center that you are now radiating this energy out in all directions.

See yourself now filled with courage and calm.

And from this place,

Imagine yourself responding to the situation which has triggered you.

Responding to the situation from a place of calm courage.

How do you interact differently with those around you?

How do you speak differently?

How do you act differently?

What choices do you make from the place of your calm,

Courageous center?

What is the deep knowing that you hold in your calm and courageous center?

Take a deep breath in and a long breath out.

Come back into your body right here,

Right now.

Filled with the light of your courageous and calm center.

Scan your body once again.

Notice the sensations.

Check in with those places that hold your fear.

How strong is this fear feeling in your body now?

Ten being very strong and one being very weak.

Compare this to that number you gave at the beginning of the meditation.

Bring your palms together now into prayer pose in front of your heart.

Bow your head in gratitude towards your hands.

For all the learning of life.

For all the ways these experiences make us stronger and wiser.

More compassionate and courageous.

More able to share our light with the world.

May you know you are strong.

May you know you are courageous.

May you be blessed.

This is my go-to eft tapping meditation for fear. Most of the time I go through the fear cycles twice before moving on to courage and it is very helpful.
