Welcome to this guided meditation.
My name is Nathalie and thank you so much for listening to my recordings.
As we honor the fall equinox,
A time of balance between light and dark,
We also recognize the shifts within ourselves.
This meditation is designed to help you find balance,
Embrace change and cultivate gratitude.
Not only today,
The 22nd of September,
But whenever you need to reconnect with your inner peace.
Let's begin.
Find a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
And when it feels safe for you,
Close your eyes or lower your gaze.
And take a deep breath in.
And slowly exhale.
Again,
Take a deep breath in,
Filling your lungs completely.
And let it out slowly,
Releasing any tension or stress.
Allow your breathing to settle into a natural rhythm.
Now bring your awareness to the connection between your body and the earth.
Feel the support beneath you,
Grounding you in this moment.
Imagine roots extending from your body into the earth,
Anchoring you,
Providing stability and strength.
With each breath,
Feel yourself becoming more present,
More connected to the earth.
As the fall equinox marks the time when day and night are equal,
Let's take this opportunity to reflect on the concept of balance in our own lives.
Just as the earth achieves a perfect equilibrium between light and dark,
We too can strive to create balance in various aspects of our existence.
Now start by considering your physical well-being.
Are you giving your body the care and rest it needs,
Or are there areas where you've been overextending yourself?
Think about how you nourish your body,
How you move it,
And how you allow it to rest.
What small adjustments can you make to bring more harmony to your physical self?
Now shift your attention to your emotional balance,
Our emotions,
Like the changing seasons,
Ebb and flow.
Are there emotions you've been holding on to that might be weighing you down?
Are you allowing yourself time to process your feelings,
Or have certain emotions been overlooked?
Consider how you can bring more balance to your emotional life,
Perhaps by embracing all feelings with compassion and allowing yourself to fully experience them.
Now let's reflect on your mental balance.
Our minds can often feel crowded with thoughts,
Plans and worries.
Are you finding a healthy balance between thinking and being,
Between planning and allowing?
Take a moment to assess whether your mind feels cluttered or clear.
What practices can you introduce to bring more calm and clarity to your thoughts?
This might involve setting aside time for mindfulness,
Journaling,
Or simply giving yourself permission to step away from mental busyness.
Finally,
Consider your spiritual balance.
This could be your connection to something greater than yourself,
Whether it's nature,
A sense of purpose,
Or your inner wisdom.
Are you nurturing this aspect of your life,
Or has it been overshadowed by daily concerns?
Reflect on how you can bring more harmony to your spiritual practice,
Whatever that may look like for you.
It might be through meditation,
Spending time in nature,
Or simply reconnecting with what makes you feel centered and whole.
As you breathe in,
Imagine each area of your life coming into alignment.
Your physical body,
Your emotions,
Your mind,
And your spirit.
With each exhale,
Release any tension or imbalance that no longer serves you.
Feel yourself becoming more centered,
More aligned,
As each aspect of your being finds its place in the greater harmony of your life.
Now take a moment to sit with this feeling of balance.
Know that just as the earth achieves balance during the equinox,
You too have the power to create and maintain equilibrium in your life.
Remember that balance isn't about perfection.
It's about finding a flow that feels right for you,
Adjusting as needed,
And being gentle with yourself in the process.
Autumn is a season of change as nature begins to let go in preparation for rest and renewal.
In the same way,
What might you need to release in your life?
Is there something you've been holding on to that no longer serves you?
Perhaps it's a thought pattern,
A habit,
Or an emotional burden.
Visualize the trees shedding their leaves,
Effortlessly letting go,
Trusting that new growth will come in time.
As you breathe in,
Imagine gathering what you're ready to release.
With each exhale,
Imagine these things falling away like leaves carried gently by the wind.
Feel the lightness that comes with letting go,
Making space for new possibilities.
Now let's shift our focus to gratitude.
The fall equinox is also a time of harvest,
A moment to appreciate the abundance in our lives.
What have you harvested this year?
Those could be achievements,
Personal growth,
Or simple moments of joy.
Take a few moments to reflect on the blessings in your life.
As you breathe in,
Imagine your heart filling with gratitude.
With every exhale,
Let this feeling of thankfulness expand,
Filling your entire being.
Allow this sense of gratitude wash over you,
Bringing warmth and contentment.
Know that you can return to this feeling of abundance and appreciation whenever you need.
Now take a moment to visualize yourself surrounded by a warm,
Golden light.
This light represents the nourishing energy of the season,
A reminder of the balance,
Change,
And gratitude you've cultivated in this meditation.
Imagine this light wrapping around you,
Comforting and uplifting you.
Feel it entering your body,
Filling every cell with warmth and peace.
Know that you can carry this light with you,
Keeping it in your heart as you move forward into the season and beyond.
Welcome in the messages.
What kind of messages are you receiving right now?
Trust the timing of your life and trust that you're exactly where you were supposed to be and you're receiving exactly what you're supposed to receive.
Do not force it,
Just allow.
And now gently bring your awareness back to the present moment,
Back into the room,
Back into the space.
Wiggle your fingers,
Wiggle your toes,
And gently reawaken your body.
And when you're ready,
If you're lying down,
You can bend your knees,
Roll over to one side,
Any side,
And use one of your hands as a pillow underneath your head for support.
And take two deep breaths here in fetus position,
Inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth.
And then slowly,
Slowly,
Still with your eyes closed,
Push yourself up into a meditative position.
And then when you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes and carry with you the balance,
The release,
And the gratitude that you've cultivated today.
Thank you so much for joining me in this meditation.
And remember,
You can return to this practice any time you need to find balance,
Embrace change,
Or reconnect with gratitude.
Take this feeling of peace and light with you into your day.
Until next time,
Namaste.
