Much like dancing there is no right or wrong way to find flow in your life. Flow states can be found in meditation and used to expand a sense of calm and clarity throughout your day. Often we find it hard to sink into a flow state because we are trying to control events and emotions within us rather than taking things as they come and starting from where we are. You are perfect and deep down you know what is right for you.

Hello and welcome.

So taking a deep breath in through the nose,

And out through the mouth.

In through the nose,

And almost like you're dancing,

Out through the mouth.

In through the nose,

And out through the mouth.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

And just almost imagine as if you're dancing in your mind's eye.

Just imagine as if you're finding that flow,

As if you're hitting the dance floor and your favourite groove has just come on.

There's no worries,

There's no cares,

There's no inhibitions.

Treat the breath like a dance,

Feel your belly expand and release.

Whatever flow is to you,

Just imagine it now.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

Breathing out.

Breathing out.

And as you're breathing in and breathing out,

I want you to imagine as if you're flowing that sense of flow into the rest of your day.

Whatever you've got on.

Whether it's the start of your day,

The middle of your day,

Or even the end of your day.

Just imagine those periods of the day all having this sense of rhythm and flow running through them.

Almost as if you're riding the wave.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Just imagining that pace,

That effortless flow running through your body,

How that feels,

How you move,

How you smile,

How you talk to people,

How you listen,

How you get excited,

And how you take rest too.

Just breathing in,

Breathing out.

Imagining that for yourself now.

Breathing out.

Breathing out.

Breathing out.

And still breathing in and breathing out.

Just paying real gentle attention to how you bring yourself around.

Wriggling your fingers and your toes,

Making circles with your wrists and your ankles and your neck.

Rolling your hips a little,

Rolling your shoulders and just feeling like you're an instrument of that flow.

And when you do open your eyes,

Do so when you're completely ready.

Repeating after me,

I take life at my own pace.
