Welcome to your guided meditation.

My name is Laura,

Place in the Middle.

Find comfort wherever you are.

And whatever that feels like for you.

Allow your body to soften and still.

Making any other minor adjustments to allow yourself comfort,

Ease.

Slowly start to close your eyes and focus on your breath.

As you inhale,

Allow your belly to rise.

To fill up and expand.

As you exhale,

Allow your belly to empty.

To contract toward the back of your spine.

Focusing only on your next inhale and your next exhale.

Allow your body to change the way you're breathing by extending your exhales.

Let your exhales become longer than your inhales.

Inhaling for four.

Exhaling for six.

Do this a few more times.

As we extend our exhales,

We send a signal to our brain to calm our central nervous system.

To let go of our fight or flight mode.

Inhaling for.

Exhaling,

Six.

Hope is believing and having faith in a higher power.

To become hopeful,

We first have to start with opening our hearts.

Start to soften your shoulders.

Releasing tension through the back of your neck and spine.

Imagine your heart center opening and softening with each breath.

Breathing here in your heart center,

Choosing to be open.

Choosing to be hopeful.

Imagine your heart center like a flower waiting to bloom in the spring.

Slowly softening.

Slowly peeling open.

And slowly expanding.

Feel the warmth from within you.

Allow your heart center to soften even more.

Become aware of any thoughts coming and going.

Become aware without any attachments.

What is it that you are hopeful for?

What is it that your heart is trying to ask you for?

Today,

I am hopeful.

I am hopeful for love.

Kindness.

Compassion.

Faith.

Belief.

Magic.

Health.

Community.

Today,

I am hopeful.

I am hopeful for my today.

I am hopeful for my tomorrows.

I am hopeful.

I am hopeful.

I am hopeful.

Take a nice long,

Slow breath in through your nose.

Exhale through your mouth.

Coming back into this space.

Holding your hands at your heart center.

May you choose to continue to be hopeful throughout the rest of your day.

From my heart to yours.

Thank you.
