How can we allow ourselves to be fully present in this body? We don't need to create the perfect scenario for us to find security in ourselves, we just have to be willing to come back home. To sit with ourselves in honesty and truth. I pray this meditation brings you closer to the remembrance that you are safe in your body.

How can we allow ourselves to be fully present in this body?

Allow yourself wherever you are to find a comfortable seat.

And this may look like lying down on your floor with a pillow underneath your head for support.

Or maybe it looks like a comfortable cross-legged position.

Whatever that spot,

That position is for you,

Give yourself permission in this moment to take it.

Knowing that there truly is no right or wrong way to do anything in life.

Once you've found that seat,

We'll start by taking a few breaths of alignment to bring us into this moment.

On the next exhale feel for drawing all of the air out of your body,

Gently drawing your navel to your spine.

On the next inhale feel for filling up in your body,

Through your little belly,

Your chest,

Your shoulders,

Going tall in the spine.

When you get to the top hold it for a moment,

Allowing the breath here to almost dance and gather and collect anything and everything that no longer serves you in this moment.

On the exhale part the lips and sigh it out through the mouth.

Exhaling yourself to melt deeper into your joints,

Into your bones,

And into your truth.

On the next exhale you can feel for finding any stress in the body and releasing it,

Others in the shoulders,

The hips,

The neck.

Any clenching in your body,

Know that it's safe here to find softness.

Know that it's safe here to release.

Know that you are safe in your body.

Know that your body is holding you and can support you.

Begin to notice the quality of your breath as you breathe in and out through the nose.

With the next inhale begin to find length in your spine.

On the exhale see if you can maintain that length.

Often in life we look for cues from our external world to validate us.

We ask people how does this look?

Should I wear this?

We post pictures hoping that people will see us and really all they see is a shell.

How often do we turn inside and ask ourselves what turns me on,

What brings me passion?

How do I feel?

When we begin to sit with these questions and not only sit with them but dissect them,

What does passion mean for me?

What does passion feel like in my body?

When I think of the word turned on what does that mean for me,

Not for the collective,

Not what I've been taught to think that it means but what does it mean for me at this time knowing that it can always change?

When we begin to dissect and break down and witness this is when we can begin to be in our bodies.

This is when we can begin to feel safe.

This is when we can begin to be at home with ourselves.

In this moment ask yourself,

Maybe you search for it or maybe you already know what it is,

What am I missing?

What is waiting to find me?

What is waiting to be uncovered in my body?

Know that as you are right now you are enough.

You don't need the validation of others.

You don't even need people to see you.

You need to see yourself for the light,

The spark that you are.

I invite you today as you go through your day,

Your morning or maybe your evening,

Whenever you are listening to this,

Every so often to come back to that question,

How can I begin to be in my body?

How can I begin to be in my body?

And when you begin to be in your body,

You'll begin to hear the messages that your body has been waiting to send to you.

I pray you continue to discover and uncover all of the magic,

All of the wisdom,

All of the truth that is waiting to come inside of you.

And I pray that you will continue to be in my body for the rest of your life.

I love this meditation! The music is calm and playful and your voice is soothing. Thank you for the questions to connect with passion; sometimes I think that peace comes from ease or relaxation, but today I felt it comes when I’m connected to purpose and joy. I’ll be coming back to your meditation again in the mornings, Blessings and love to you. ♥️🙏🏽
