Thank you so much for taking this time for yourself and for taking the first step to increasing your confidence,

Finding your voice,

And letting go of your people-pleasing tendencies.

I invite you to find a quiet space where you can sit or lie down comfortably,

Taking a nice,

Slow inhale and exhale as you close your eyes or bring your eyes to a soft gaze just in front of you.

Inhaling through the nose,

Exhaling through the mouth,

Taking a couple more nice,

Slow,

Deep breaths,

Maybe letting that exhale out with a big,

Full body sigh,

Feeling your shoulders relax,

Taking any movement that you need to,

Maybe shifting your weight from side to side if you're seated,

Maybe stretching your legs out just a little bit more if you're lying down,

Letting your shoulders fully relax,

And continuing with this nice,

Gentle breath pattern in through the nose,

Out through the mouth,

Feeling each breath filling your lungs,

Filling your body,

With each breath relaxing just a little bit more,

And allowing yourself to step into a space of self-awareness and empowerment,

Really letting your thoughts relax,

Not following them down any path if any new thoughts come in.

You can imagine your thoughts coming into your mind like passing clouds.

You see them,

You're aware of them,

But you're not going to give them any attention,

Just let them float by,

Staying present with your breath,

And I invite you to imagine yourself standing in front of a beautiful,

Peaceful light.

This light may be white,

It may be golden,

Maybe there's another color that shows up for you.

This light represents your inner wisdom,

Your strength,

And your truth.

It radiates warmth and safety.

As you step closer,

You feel a deep sense of confidence wash over you.

Now,

Think of a time when you agreed to do something you truly didn't want to do.

Notice how it felt in your body,

What were the sensations,

Was there tension,

Was there discomfort,

What thoughts arose as you agreed,

Knowing that it wasn't right for you.

Taking a nice deep breath here,

Letting that go,

Releasing those feelings,

Releasing those thoughts,

And now shifting your focus,

Imagine yourself in the same situation,

But this time,

You pause before answering.

You take a deep breath,

You will listen to your needs,

And with clarity and kindness,

You respond in a way that honors your energy.

This response doesn't mean you don't care.

You're not being rude,

You're not being selfish.

When you say no,

You're honoring your truth.

Now,

Feel the relief that comes with standing in this truth.

Feel the lightness in your chest,

The ease in your breath.

You are allowed to set boundaries,

You are allowed to say no,

And you are allowed to put yourself first without guilt.

As you sit with this feeling,

I invite you to repeat to yourself,

Either out loud or in your head,

I am worthy.

I am enough.

I am allowed to honor my own needs.

My value is not measured by what I do for others.

And letting these affirmations really resonate into your system.

Taking a moment now to be proud of yourself for being here,

To give yourself grace going forward to take this pause,

Take the breath,

And respond with your truth.

You are not responsible for managing other people's emotions.

You are responsible for honoring your own,

Honoring your truth,

Honoring your happiness,

And listening to that inner knowing.

Taking a couple more nice,

Slow,

Deep breaths here.

Letting this newfound confidence really settle into every cell in your body with each breath.

Taking your next breath in through the nose.

Holding at the top and letting that go with a big,

Full body sigh.

As you slowly begin to bring awareness back to your body,

Noticing the sensations of your breath,

Beginning to wiggle your fingers,

Wiggle your toes,

Taking whatever movement you need in this moment,

Maybe it's giving yourself a hug,

Maybe it's doing a nice,

Full body stretch.

And when you're ready,

Opening your eyes and carrying this new sense of confidence with you throughout the rest of your day,

The rest of your week,

And coming back to this meditation whenever you need that little reminder.

Letting these affirmations become part of your regular self-talk,

Because you are worthy.

You are enough.

You are allowed to honor your own needs.

And as you go through the rest of your day,

Just remembering this and moving through with more confidence and truth.

Thank you so much for being here.

Thank you so much for taking this time for yourself.
