So when asking you guys what are the challenges of going from ego to a guided life so far we have in ego you lose ability and yeah I think I honestly think vulnerability has been the biggest thing to allow me to be myself.

I was scared of like sharing who I am to the world through things like this right.

But I have to be vulnerable because then the ego doesn't have anything to stand on.

It's built off an identity.

It's built off this like fear.

This fear which is all held together by these things and beliefs.

So once you can become vulnerable you're free.

You're expressing yourself and it's not like vulnerability for the sake of like hey I oh this is happening to me I need some I need some attention you know not that not attention seeking because that's coming from mind and ego itself again so it's feeding on it vulnerability of like letting the absolute truth out the expression that is when you start letting go of ego um someone else has said other people relationships bring out my ego side okay interesting yeah that's usually when it comes well that's one of the ways it comes up when there's this like yeah this situation between someone yeah I'm going to talk about that more in a moment actually um Caesar's saying the ego from the true self and how to tap into that yeah how to tap into that okay yeah I'm going to speak on that in a moment for sure um for me feeling guilty for being in the ego feeling guilty yeah that's a good one a few people have said that to me like when I'm having a session with someone they've got to know me and they know like what I'm about and how I'm all about like coming to this place of empowerment owning our lives so if they ever feel like their mind is trying to say things to them sometimes they're for guilty they'll say yeah Raj I know this is mind and I shouldn't be doing this and I say no it's all okay it's all okay it's okay for this ego to be there I think the challenge comes when we think we have to kill it or destroy it we have to run away from it attack it that's when it starts like getting more or craving more attention it's like if you locked someone in a room and quickly closed the door they'll be banging on the door saying let me out let me out that's what will happen if you try and imprison or suppress a part of yourself sometimes this comes in the form of you're you're feeling something but you don't want to say it to someone so you just keep quiet to keep the peace again there's suppression or you have desires ideas creativity coming through but you don't do anything that's suppression again that's ego that's your ego saying hey well you have this idea but that's not a good idea don't do that so to go into the topic now when I say ego versus living a guided life I mean ego in the sense of you're not going to be able to do things without the help of your mind stopping you from doing things and when I say guided life I mean feeling that flow of energy just knowing inside you something's just telling you people can call this what they want gut feeling intuition higher self the heart spirit what else actually you guys tell me put some stuff in the chat what does this feel to you when I say this stuff like this this guidance from within what is it how do you know it's there describe it to me what do you feel when it's there and everyone's felt it at some point it's not something that you have to become like a yogi or a zen master to understand this some level everyone understands this I think that term gut feeling comes up a lot when I'm speaking to people who are not into like spirituality which is great that's just their way of seeing it right they say gut feeling or something else just to knowing sometimes people say tell me what that is for you remind yourself right now of a time where you felt that way where you had an experience like that and I'll pause while you do that yeah yeah Laurieann says with ego I feel tense with spirit true self-guidance I feel calm yeah that's a good way to describe it authenticity is a good way to describe it and I'll pause while you do that yeah that's a good way to describe it authenticity says Christine when I speak my truth and it feels right yeah feels right yeah what else guys feel into it the more you become accustomed to the truth the more you feel into it feel into it the more you become accustomed to this the more you can be in this zone then it doesn't feel foreign it's kind of like if you were going to the gym and lifting weights it feels so weird at first it feels weird it's like this doesn't feel like a motion that I'm used to it hurts you get tired a few days after you feel tired as well the more you do it the more you get used to it so it's a practice it's not something you're born with maybe some people will say that you know maybe for some people I wasn't for sure I was living in my head for my whole life I was living in ego just so you guys know right because I like to remind people where I've been and where I still am sometimes I'm not like rid of everything just because I'm teaching here I'm I'm okay being honest and open that yeah this comes up for me sometimes still I get pulled in by the mind but before it was much worse before it was so much worse I was like I'm not leaving you No no it's okay If you have Windows but no my little stuff is on if you have swingers on but you have your hair but you have you know get a look at it and it shouldn't be I know what was going on but I hear my 299 and you really should be like oh I think otherwise I really should have lost my mind with the person or I was just around people let's just say because I would feel on edge and when I had things to do I would feel tense as well anxious and it was like maybe I had these rare moments where I did I felt calm but those were the rare moments I wasn't conscious of it conscious of this thing we're talking about today which is like this higher self this guidance system I wasn't conscious of it I just knew that sometimes I felt calm sometimes I didn't or sorry most the time I didn't so it's a practice that's the first thing that I think is worth mentioning again reminding yourself of times where you felt like you're calm and you're flowing maybe it will be in nature maybe it will be after I don't know meditation or yoga session or something maybe it would be after you've connected with a real great person over become aware of that energy that you're holding there and then start cultivating it consciously practicing that it's a practice so whatever you want to call this you can all this whatever you want there's no like one label for it true self spirit compass sometimes I like to use I use inner compass to some people who are not into like this these spiritual words I'll just say in a compass some guidance inside you and knowing everyone knows that to some level right here's where the challenge comes though even if we know that living by that is the part where it's challenging because we'll have these guidance and then the mind will come along and they will stomp it down you'll say no no no that's not a good idea no don't do that don't do that for me I remember like even when I wanted to go and take a trip on my own for the first time I just wanted to do it I don't know what reason I had I just wanted to travel it was just this guidance was telling me but all of the mind stuff was like no no you can't do that on your own that's weird what will people say who does that and I started questioning like why do you want to do this are you a loner are you have you got weird things about you that you've got to sort out in your mind why do you want to do this let be like won't you be scared when you get lonely all these questions and questions that's what the ego the mind is doing is analyzing analyzing trying to find like little faults trying to find reasons not to do stuff getting in our own way and like Laurie Ann said it feels tense it feels stressful because here's something that I learned which I want you to take away from today when we are in that mode of stress and tense it's a sign that something's wrong and not the thing that we're thinking about is wrong but the thinking is wrong let me let me break that down and repeat that anyway if you think about a train the train is running smoothly across the tracks right but then there's like these these rocks in the way or these like things on the track that are causing the train to kind of slow down and it's starting to get bumpy and it's just not smooth anymore that's what happens when we're in the ego and thinking mode that's why it feels tense because it's not natural it's not the natural thing to think about and analyze and get into that mood our body is calling us through that tension is telling us hey you don't need to think about this that's why I'm tensing you up to tell you I'm tensing you up to tell you to stop it's kind of like if if you are fighting with someone and then they're like struggling it's a sign that this is not natural let me give you another example you eat some food that is bad your body will do something to get rid of that it will create this tension that's what it's trying to do when you're in over thinking mode it's trying to bring you back to harmony just like when you get sick your body's trying to bring you back to harmony to calm to balance your body is there to heal you to give you to give you your greatness back so when we get sick yeah we're out of that so our body will do everything it can to bring us back to harmony the same thing when we're overthinking it's all of this tension is a sign that you're in a mode of non equilibrium non balance let's say sickness to just make it real for you guys your inner state of sickness so it's demanding from you slow down and you'll be back to your state of world again you don't need to think about this stuff you're causing this sickness so slow down and you'll be back to your highest state of well-being without having to say you know go to a sauna or run for 20 miles to sweat it out you can do that actually I've done that a lot of times it's helped but let's make this simpler just start detaching from the desire to figure stuff out that's when the inner guidance starts kicking in it's allowed to kick in now once you let go and come back to this place of harmony you have all the insights you need you know it's a classic we go for a walk when we're stressed or whatever and it starts just floating away and then these ideas come or like people say the shower you have those deepest thoughts in the shower right because you're detached from everything in that place you're all you're doing is feeling how good the water feels and just you're with your body you're actually touching and connecting to it right so there's a focus there's an attention which is away from thinking you see how it all makes sense and I say this because this is how this is when I got it my mind was blown I was like ah okay so I get into my body I detach the need from figuring stuff out and then I get all of the answers I want Wow so I don't need to figure stuff out okay great that's what I mean when I say living a guided life from that place you'll be guided by whatever you want to call this intuition wisdom inner wisdom someone said to me once Raj is like you're connecting to sauce and I was like what do you mean and they said the way you're speaking it feels like you're really just so sure about what you're saying you're not thinking about it it's just coming through you and I said yeah okay if you put it that way yeah that's that is what's happening I'm not thinking it's just coming through it's just a knowing think thinking is necessary when there's doubt about what we're saying but when you come and slow down and allowed this kind of like guidance or compass to come through you then it just comes out ego is doubtful so that's why I keep saying slow down because when you come into the presence and you surrender like that guy's book was it called surrender experiment Michael singer you get all of the answers anyone read that book so I'm gonna pause there for now and what comes up for you guys as I say all this what is your wisdom saying this quiet voice what's the quiet voice saying or what is the ego saying what is your thinking saying I'd also love to hear that so share with me in the chat you know Einstein one of the greatest geniuses of all time right he talked a lot about intuition and about like space and consciousness that's why he was a genius he even admitted that not like me deciding this right now and his wife used to you know people used to come to his house and they would say where's Einstein and then she'll say he's in the bathtub he might be there for a few hours and the guy the guest would be like what what do you mean and she'll say well he goes in there because his whole body gets relaxed and then he gets all of these intuitive genius ideas coming into him he purposely does to slow down and he's not thinking you know so one of the greatest geniuses you know there's all these photos on Google of him next to a board a white blackboard sorry in those days scribbling these equations he didn't like logic initially anyway to think all of that up you know imagine this he's thinking about the theory of the universe that's like much bigger than your maths equation doesn't that that cannot require logic so he tap into this genius first and then he'll use the logical mind as a tool to help him figure out the like how to describe it to people so living a guided life is pulling in all of that knowing and then you can use your logical mind to get it out into the world somehow that's when it's useful this tool of the mind that's when you can use it you can't just you can't live by that because it's not how we are as humans we've got these parts of ourselves that we have to use in combination unify them then we live this ultimate existence where you can do whatever you want you can create your your like outer world you can create a great career you can have success what you can have it business but if it's led from the inside out if you're trying to do stuff from the outside in from the mind the ego world only then there's never any satisfaction in life doesn't matter what you get the matter what you do there's never satisfaction it's never enough but if you do inside out approach is different completely and that's basically the mission I'm on to help people create that inside-out approach I'm not here just to be a person who's just talking about the inner world and like let's go and just confine ourselves to meditating and then we go and have the outside world experience being all like messy and I'll know my career and all that all that stuff is not serving us on the outside world yeah you can have a great meditation experience in the mornings and you feel calm and then you go into your day and it's all crazy again that's not I don't think that's the ultimate way to live that's why I use these sessions to slow people down and get into that meditated zone but not just that for me it's about living from that place and then using that to create whatever you want instead of it being like hey let's do a meditation I feel great for 10 minutes and then I go into my life and it's all crazy again and I have to just keep doing this thing so for me it's more about like deeper growth deeper transformation if that makes sense so what else is coming up for you guys I've said a lot of stuff and you know I go off on these rants or rambles let's call them and you guys tell me it's been useful I don't know if it's been useful right I just say stuff I'm not attached to what I'm saying as being like the absolute yeah I know everything but these are just my experiences and the things I'm I'm doing with clients I'm helping them to create so yeah you guys tell me like what's been useful so far I see a comment from Kaz saying I feel listening to you tonight that I live more in ego because my inner guide feels too quiet and not in tune yeah good point it does feel quiet and I used to have this vision when I was starting to get in touch with this thing I started having this vision of you know a crowd full of people crowd full of people and for some reason I saw them all in like dark black suits it was like it was a dark room with dark black suits it's just these these people everywhere but then I would connect to this little energy in that room and there will be a little person in a yellow coat right in the middle of the room and I'd have to move through the people and I'd find it I'd find this like this gold this quiet voice so it's really a tuning in process you have to start feeling into it it's not gonna happen from nowhere you have to practice this right you have to practice this just like you know if you were playing a sport or an instrument it has to be a practice but that doesn't mean that hey I've got a practice for the next 10 years and then I'll find peace I know I know people say that all the time like I think you can speed this process up it doesn't have to be like oh this thing will take me forever it's not true we all connect to that guidance at some point in our lives everyone we just have to become aware of it and practice it so listen in and we'll do this in a moment would I'll take you guys through a meditation in a moment so we can practice together but yeah the ego just is loud it's loud and you know this is why meditation such a challenging thing and why so many people say to me I can't meditate I find it too hard yeah fun as we're just talking about like the loud noise the ego the mind versus their guidance that's in there so people will say to me yeah it's hard to meditate I can't it's too tricky my thoughts and that's the whole point so you can hear how loud it is here it's like we wear of that most the time because we have like Oh busy busy I'll do this I'll do that you know I feel stressed so unconsciously you'll go and grab some food to a better oh look I feel better now because I've eaten some sweets so it's like that happen that activity will happen or I'll go and do this or I'll go and find a person that's gonna make me feel better well I'll do this thing like watch this TV show that will make me feel better we're doing this stuff because there's all this noise that's why we're doing it all so meditating means you become aware of oh my god there's a lot of noise for me too as well by the way guys me too seriously I'm not just saying that like I I practice meditation with open eyes staring at the wall sometimes are Zen Zen meditation and is man this so thoughts just rushing around but the whole point is just to be aware of it to not react that's what it is it's a practice of of listening of painful listening it will feel painful yeah it's okay and yet Dave makes a great point there listening to the heart when you sit and meditate if you just put your attention to that heart area or some area sometimes I put my attention to the forehead that's predominantly where it goes naturally for me but I actively bring it down to the heart just like there's no special technique here it's just you close your eyes and you feel into that and again like I said we'll do that in a moment together you just notice just notice it and then you'll start accessing that guidance in you stem that's always been there the greatest system ever you think about it like everything amazing that's ever been created in this world has come from someone's heart I promise you that it wouldn't have been powerful enough for it to exist if it just came from thinking it wouldn't have been powerful enough for them to be brave or courageous enough to make something happen because thinking doesn't allow you to do that action is heart focused any action is coming from the heart doesn't matter what it is if you write that one and is coming from the heart you'll realize you'll start becoming aware of it anything you're doing is coming from this place but things like ego-driven behavior like I'm gonna binge on this food to make myself feel better I'm gonna binge on this I'm gonna you know all that stuff to do with the mind that's when you're pushing you to stuff your egos pushing your body not your heart so tell me what else comes up for you guys and we'll do a meditation in there in a moment to really practice this together I'm just gonna read the comments if I missed anything hello hello people few people have joined hello a man the ego is in some way self-destructive can feel like that yeah D hello D nice to see you yeah Christine inner compass is a great way to think about it it's just pointing you into places you know this whole thing about having goals we get stressed about goals because we're looking in the future and we're just we're like we're analyzing whether or not we can do it or not we're analyzing oh can I do this this is my me here versus that thing I want so there's this part in the middle and we get overwhelmed by it we start over analyzing the goal that we want whether that's losing weight whether that's a new career whether that's the relationship we just start getting overwhelmed by it because it doesn't feel like it's possible or real so for me a goal is a place to come from it's a place to be in now whatever goal you have you started from here you're here now who do you have to be right now to make your goal happen starting from now who do you have to be right now this is not a place to get to this is where you're coming from all of that stuff just creates itself if you're constantly coming from the present moment okay I've done this much now okay now what do I have to do I do this I do this great okay tomorrow I get to tomorrow okay now what I have to do okay this and this okay great a week has gone by look I've done so much now what I do okay I do this that's how goals happen there's that's for me anyway I'm not an overanalyze of goals I just do stuff living through that guidance that I'm telling you about heart doing it being in action in the present moment though there's this whole thing about hey you know there's this like being present mode being okay with everything you have but then there's this whole other mode of like creating your future which a lot of personal development coaching stuff are all focused on right on like yeah create your future design your amazing life and then the spiritual people like no no be here now be here now I'm here to bridge that gap that's what I do is to have both you be here now and you create your future that's that's what I think is amazing about life everything's focused from now but you still make that amazing thing happen that's possible so you're not stressed out so you're living life to the max you're not letting anything slip because you were too present in the moment and you've you said all that matters is the moment I don't care about anything in the future that can happen I've been there and you know the angle I'm saying on this I'm not saying the present moment is not important I'm actually saying is very very important it is all we have this is where you be but still creating stuff creating stuff from the present moment creating that one thing and then the next day being present doing the next step the next day being present doing the next step doesn't matter what will happen in the future you're just doing it right now that's what I mean when I say living a guided life there's a guidance inside you that wants you to achieve more it wants you to be at the maximum that's what the soul is the soul is a story it's a story that's waiting to unfold it's not it's when we're listening to our mind we're suppressing the soul we're suppressing the path that we are on that's what happened to me I was wondering like all my life I was like why do I feel empty why do I feel like I'm not calm why do I feel like I fit into anyone different why don't I feel satisfied with my life no matter what I had because there's still more there's this part of the soul which wants you to maximize your life it's not okay with you just playing it safe it's tapping you on the shoulder saying hey you know there's more you know that there's much better for you right now you know it you know it you feel it it's there you're just not allowing it to happen that's what I realized that this anxiety thing was for me it was a push to be my best it wasn't hey you have a problem no it was like hey I'm gonna make you believe you have a problem I'm gonna make you feel you have a problem I'm gonna get your body involved so you think you have a problem just so you rise above it and you realize what is really here you realize what the path really is for you through that pain that's what I believe that's what I believe the soul is telling us that's what their guidance is trying to get us to do from that place there's no limit so you have anxiety all this stuff maybe look into that what is it calling you to do you suppressing something's being suppressed sometimes right so that's my invitation that might have hit hard for some people in a good way let me know in the chat did that hit you did that hit you right there did that make you question things because it did for me when I realized it was like oh my god so this thing that I thought I had a problem with it's just a thing of like hey I've got a play all out gonna play all out I got a play and let all the music out in me like what's his name someone says that Wayne Dyer let all the music out don't leave it in so hope that's good for today let's do a short practice guys and I want you to put some questions in the chat as well but in a moment or actually put your questions in now and I'll come back to them what questions come up for you what are you feeling what are you thinking was this a good use of your time today your precious time did you get something out of this what did you learn what was an insight or realizations did you have what are you taking away from this more importantly you put something in the chat ok so this done silence I love that yeah that's interesting that tells me something as well in some way so you don't want to share ask yourself that question again after we finish what are you taking away from this raise your consciousness to that and you'll find something Laurie and says I realize I have a hard time allowing myself to follow my inner guidance intellect talks me out of it yeah exactly it does talk to you out of it it it says hey don't listen to that guy or that girl don't listen to them they can't be trusted what it says whispering things like yeah don't listen that's crazy that's a crazy idea what would people think you can do that you're not good enough yeah just be comfortable just forget about it everything's ok do your gratitude list be ok with what you have there's no need for anything more and you see how I play with that gratitude list because I again I think it's very important to have a gratitude list I'd practice that myself so I'm not laughing at the gratitude list I'm laughing at the playing it like comfortable card like everything's ok you're ok even though you know there's something in you that's giving you a message that's what it was for me that's why I'm saying this everything was ok on paper but they will still do that well I'm not playing all out I'm not fully listening to this thing I'm telling myself that yeah everything's ok it's fine no it's kind of like if you say if you eat go to a restaurant and you eat some food and you say yeah it was ok you were not really satisfied or wowed by it yeah it's ok it was fine yeah I've got some gratitude because I got to eat the food yeah you know I'm grateful that the food was ok I'm grateful the food didn't make me sick ok great that's that's good that's good in one way but it's not like you've had the best food ever and you're like oh my god that was amazing that's how I want people to live their lives like oh my god this life I'm living is great I'm really grateful now because I moved past the mind blocks now I really know what it means to be fully alive there's no regrets one of the worst things people say is having regrets whatever shape or form that is like in regrets knowing that there was a bit more I have them too by the way doesn't feel nice but I decided I was like I don't want to live like that anymore so that's what I mean ultimately by living this guided life letting it flow through not putting a cap on it and also knowing that everything is okay how you are not like letting the ego push you but letting the soul push you instead the soul pushes you nicely is it's pushing you like in a great way the ego pushing is not it's rough and forceful so it's it's really like this intricacy this this nuance that you have to start feeling into of like getting it getting to know what is their soul what is not and if anyone wants to have a conversation with me about this send me a message let's talk I would love to talk about this more because this question so you can throw your questions in the chat but let's do a practice fun to end the session so start to get comfortable where you are and I'm gonna do the same start listening to your breath and see if you can feel any tension in your being see if you can notice the desire to fix or to solve to act see if you can notice your thinking see where it's going follow it not trying to do anything just noticing what's happening and notice your stomach moving with your breath on its own the breath moving through your body in see if you can notice your upper body inflating as you breathe in and dropping as you breathe out all on its own give yourself permission to let go and just keep following your breath notice the mind trying to run let it let it run as fast as it wants no need to stop it no need to judge just let it run and then bring your attention to your chest the center of your chest see if you can notice the heart beating put all your attention on to the heart there's no special way to do this whatever you're doing is perfect breathe in and out of the heart now think of a loved one someone that brings a smile to your face someone you really love imagine them sitting in front of you look at them smiling and notice what you feel in your heart now start thinking of other people in your life maybe some people that you don't get along with so well see them in front of you and see if you can bring some love from your heart to theirs letting go all the tension through your heart keep breathing if you notice your thoughts appearing it's okay just bring your attention back to the heart now see if you can hear a voice through your heart which is saying something to you trying to express some truth and knowing to you this may just come as a feeling an energy this may come as issues this may come in a different shape or it may even come as a message a voice some insight keep focusing on your heart with your breath and see what comes up stay in the process keep coming back to your heart and your breath and keep listening keep feeling start to bring your attention to the whole body the whole body your fingers your head your toes start coming back to the body start coming back to the body making gentle movements and you can rub your palms together and place them over your eyes and slowly open your eyes and come back to the room and let me know where you are now compared to when you started the meditation let me know what comes up for you any insights that you had during that experience any questions you have remaining about connecting to this guidance this heart where did you get with that love to see in the chat life without love has no meaning bumpy says last week you said you don't watch movies anymore yeah i don't um anytime i watch movies if there is like a real lesson behind it and even then i i yeah i'm still looking for that list of movies of lessons um i don't really do anything that feels like i'm distracting myself you know i really live this life of for consciousness without it feeling like effort you know this just feels great to me so watching things on netflix and stuff i did that lot by the way in the past i did it a lot a lot like binging of on it um but i realized i was doing that because i was distracting myself from like what i was feeling inside and i'm not judging anyone that watches movies or watches netflix that's just where i was right i was like what's the point of this what is the point so yeah that's where i am and actually i watch i watch kids movies with my nephews and nieces there like i watched soul i think that was one of the last ones i saw soul is an awesome film recommend all of you to watch soul so with my clients it's funny because i always tell them when they start with me i say a few movies to watch and they're usually disney movies i tell them watch this from a personal development perspective based on your life and then tell me what are the few things you learned from it so when i do suggest movies there are some movies i'll still suggest right like the matrix or um yeah like i said i've got a list of personal development type of movies that are useful for specific situations like some of them are about love i've got some some of those that i might recommend to people um the same as how i recommend books right but doing things unconsciously for like no sake no reason i don't know it just doesn't feel it doesn't feel good to me anymore so that's that's where i'm coming from bumpy let me know what comes up for you caesar says i need to practice relaxing with my surroundings yeah hmm yeah just being with your surroundings i think is probably better like instead of relaxing because that feels like effort it's like hey i've got to relax now because then if you don't relax you'll be like oh no i'm not relaxing and you'll judge yourself right i know it i know it because i've felt all of that stuff um judging constantly judging judging judging instead how about you say i just practice being with everything just be here okay great i can be takes the pressure off right um laurie ann says i need i had a lot of sadness and anger arise in me i realized my intellect had been taking me out of letting myself feel it yeah for sure that's how i felt too i had a lot of like resentment coming up when i was going into my inner journey so resentment for me for others for not feeling this or not feeling that feeling like i was owed this so much tension came up so if you want to have a conversation laurie and i'll happily talk to you about that and give you some guidance or just tell you what i've experienced if you want um so yeah just get in touch because it's okay for you to feel that by the way um cinthia says i felt a peace calmness awesome great uh what else kes says i've got listening to the thoughts even in meditation as soon as the thoughts are knowledge they are gone i think my inner voice is broken i like the calmness that meditation think my inner voice is broken it can't be though because you're noticing the thoughts so who is doing that that's it that is your inner voice that's noticing it right so it can't be broken it's never broken it's your awareness of it that all that just needs practice you need to become aware of it see it it's kind of like an invisible door once you realize oh there's a door there oh okay cool great you just have to become aware that the door's there so i don't know if that helps um christine says i love connecting to my body but a quiet in there i don't really hear messages yeah that's okay by the way like i'm i'm i'm not saying you're gonna like revelations instantly i think the first step is yeah quiet being in quiet that's that's awesome actually being in the quiet being just being starting just being because if we try and pressure ourselves into hearing stuff or feeling this inner guidance it's not gonna work because that's the intellect that's the mind to control it and it only comes around once we don't can stuff it's such a strange thing right it's like the more we work the more we can be able to do it and it's like it's like a thing right it's like the more we want it the more it won't come so it's it's a kind of like a balance which it comes i think the more you're practicing it so i don't know if that helps maybe that confuses you more but that's what comes up for me and maxine my heart felt closed and tight trying to protect me i felt emotional and i was unable to do it and i was like okay it felt closed and trying to protect me yeah that's what it does it closes up it's an armor that's what happens to us we get this armor system nothing's coming in here i'm going to protect this thing because we've been hurt probably like some way or another in the past right all of us have somehow so we felt like we have to close it we felt like it's not we become accustomed and it became a habit a habit of like being closed so that's all that's what it is it's a habit you just have to practice the opposite being open so that's what comes up for me and i'm if you felt emotional i think that's some is working through you um fun essays i have to watch the three matrix movies uh yeah yeah check them out check them out from a personal development perspective of like what is going on here how does this relate to me then you'll start looking at the movie differently you know the red pill and the blue pill huge story in that like do you want to stay in this life that you always knew or do you want to go into this unknown most people are most people freak out from new things that's why we in our in our problems we're addicted to it we love this we love this familiarity of like hey i'm i got these challenges hey i have this thing called anxiety so much so that i will say my anxiety i will label it like it's mine like it's me we're addicted to that we're addicted to having this identity of i got it i'm an anxious person i'm a this type of person so much so we'll take a personality test to try and confirm for ourselves to try and find a place and like oh look i'm this i'm a highly sensitive person so this is why everything's like this oh i get it now great i don't need to work on anything now i've just i'll just accept that we'll just go and label ourselves we're addicted we're addicted to our problems so taking the blue pill is sorry is it the blue pill the red pill is saying hey i'm gonna try and explore something different even though i'm scared and it's not for everyone but ultimately that's what your soul is trying to draw you towards a different way of seeing things breaking out of it so yeah i think that's what i'm going to leave you with that's a great way to end it might sound like a cliffhanger but i think that's a great way to end it that's what's trying to call you kiran says intentionally doing something for distraction is still a choice i make sometimes and i'm learning not to shame guilt myself when i do it trying to notice when i feel like doing it a lot and what else is going on with me and when that's going on noticing to know exactly that's awesome because now you're free from guilt you're free from um judgment you know it goes sometimes on facebook and this is like i don't watch movies but sometimes i go on facebook and i get distracted by the what do you call it the video section there's all of these like funny pranks that's my like thing i'll be like oh let me watch one of them oh that's so funny i watched another one oh that's so funny i'll end up like all of this time has passed but now i'm just like oh it's fine i've just spent that time it's fine i'm just let's continue with my day now whereas before i would be like judging that and saying something about myself because of this so you can you can be distracted you're a human still right but it's just yeah you don't have to have the extra layer of judgment you just go back to what you wanted to do and that's fine it's done it's over there's not this extra haunting going on so thanks for bringing that up kiran so i'm going to leave it there guys i have a 90 minute limit i can't go
