Hello and welcome to Drift Off Premium,

Where we strive to bring you a calming,

Relaxed experience to help you unwind and drift off to sleep.

Tonight I have a guided sleep relaxation session that will help transport you to a state of deep rest and relaxation.

So grab your comfiest blanket,

Turn off any distractions,

And let's embark on this sleepy journey together.

Before we begin,

Take a moment to create the ideal sleep environment.

Dim the lights,

Close the curtains,

And you can even light a soothing scented candle if you like.

Or if you're lying in your bed all comfy and cozy,

You can just imagine the gentle flickering illuminating your room,

Casting a warm,

Cozy glow,

And as you settle into your bed,

Imagine the softness of your sheets and pillow embracing and comforting you.

This sacred space is perfect for letting go of the day now,

Ready to embrace the quiet of the night,

So you can bring deep,

Restorative rest to your body and mind.

Now let's begin by focusing on your breath.

Just noticing the movement of your breath as you breathe in and out,

Feeling the coolness as the air enters your lungs on the in-breath,

And then the warm air as you release that breath,

And using the breath as a tool to release any tension or worries that may be lingering within you.

Each breath in brings you closer to a state of complete relaxation.

Each breath out helps you soften and let go.

And now,

Take a nice,

Full,

Comfortable breath in,

Then holding briefly at the top for a count of three,

And then exhale and relax.

Again,

Welcome the nourishing in-breath as you breathe in,

Hold,

And as you exhale now,

Letting go of any stress that may be weighing you down,

And one last time,

Deep breath in,

Hold,

And now release.

And as you let go more and more,

Letting go of tension,

Letting go of the distractions of the external world,

Shift your focus now to your beautiful body,

Starting from the top of your head,

And imagine a warm,

Gentle light sweeping down over your scalp,

Releasing any tension you may be holding here,

Releasing any thoughts that may be clouding your mind.

Feel this light cascade down,

Smoothing out your forehead,

Soothing your eyes,

And softening those cheeks and jaw,

And allow this peaceful energy to envelop your neck and your shoulders as it effortlessly melts away any tightness or discomfort here.

It feels wonderful to allow those shoulders to drop down and ease back.

Now let's journey through the rest of your body,

Offering each part the gift of deep relaxation simply by bringing your attention there.

So move your attention down to your arms,

Feeling them getting heavy as the tension dissolves away.

Visualize or sense this wave of tranquility flowing through your fingers,

Letting go of any stress or strain you may carry.

Feel the weightlessness in your chest as your breath slows down and deepens,

Allowing your heart to slow its pace,

Gently lulling you into a state of complete ease and relaxation.

Imagine or sense this soothing wave of peace flowing through your whole back.

Any tension or discomfort melts down into the mattress,

And your hips and legs and feet get heavy as the tension softens and fades away.

And now,

Using the power of your imagination,

Allow your mind to transport you to a serene,

Safe haven.

Visualize yourself lying on a soft,

Sandy beach,

And the sound of gentle waves lapping against the shore.

Or perhaps you can visualize yourself lying on soft grass in a beautiful meadow.

Feel the warmth of the sun on your body as you listen to the sounds of nature surrounding you.

Inhale the fresh air,

Allowing all your senses to awaken.

And as you gaze out into the horizon,

Or up into the blue sky,

A profound sense of tranquility and contentment washes over you,

Like a wave.

And you feel at peace.

As your mind drifts further into tranquility,

Envision yourself floating on a soft cloud,

Gliding effortlessly through the sky.

With every breath you take,

The soft cloud carries you deeper and deeper into relaxation,

Gently soaring over lush green forests.

And you can see the dance of sunlight filtering through the leaves,

Casting shadows on the forest floor.

Allow yourself to be fully present in this serene moment,

Held and supported by your cloud,

While embracing the beauty and the stillness of this beautiful scene.

While embracing the beauty and the stillness that surrounds you.

And as this guided portion of this sleep relaxation draws to a close,

Know that you possess the power to surrender to a restful slumber at any time.

Embrace this peaceful moment and trust that when you are ready,

Sleep will wrap its nourishing arms around you,
