Welcome to this short five-minute meditation to help you de-stress and reset.
Start by finding a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
A position that allows your body to relax and release a little bit.
And once you've found that position,
Notice the points of support beneath you.
Those points of connection,
Perhaps at the back body,
The legs,
The feet.
And allow yourself to release just a little bit further into that support.
And take a nice deep breath in through the nose,
And sigh it out the mouth,
Letting go tension,
Stress through the exhale breath.
And again,
A nice deep inhale through the nose,
Letting go out the mouth.
Just breathing naturally here,
In and out through your nose.
In and out through the nose,
But letting the mouth,
The jaw,
But letting the mouth,
The jaw,
Be relaxed.
The cheeks soften,
Any tension between the brows releasing.
And begin to bring awareness to the different parts of your body.
Awareness with a curious mind,
Without judgment,
Just seeing what is going on in the various parts of the body,
With no expectations.
And begin to bring awareness to the top of the head,
The forehead,
Eyebrows,
Eyes,
Ears,
Cheeks,
Nose,
Lips,
Mouth,
Chin,
Jawbone,
Throat,
Collarbones,
Shoulders,
Arms,
Wrist,
Hands,
Fingers,
Chest,
Upper abdomen,
Navel,
Lower abdomen,
Pelvis,
Thighs,
Knees,
Lower legs,
Ankles,
Tops of the feet,
All the toes,
All the toes,
The soles of the feet,
The heels,
Calf muscles,
Backs of the knees,
Hamstrings,
Hips,
Lower back,
Middle back,
Upper back,
Shoulder blades,
Back of the neck,
Back of the head,
Top of the head.
Bring awareness to both arms,
Both legs,
The whole back of the body,
The whole front of the body,
The whole body together,
The whole body together,
The whole body together.
And take a nice deep breath in through the nose,
Exhaling out the mouth,
Beginning to wiggle the fingers,
The toes,
Opening the eyes as you're ready,
Feeling recharged,
Reset,
And ready to continue on with your day.
