
Five Practices To Solving Anything

All right,
Welcome this morning to Soul Soup.
I'm Dr.
Jeanette Freeman here to bring a little warmth,
Food for your soul and warmth for your heart through a little bit of inspiration message,
Hopefully,
That you can take with you and learn in your daily life and to also bring you some sort of a hypno process,
Some sort of an internal process to take you to your own internal mind,
Your subconscious,
Your higher mind as well in order to have some sort of real life transformation.
So welcome this morning.
Today we're looking at having an experience of really letting go of that one big problem that's in our life and look at five principles for letting go,
Five principles for solving something,
Five principles for solving problems or solving through the power of your own subconscious mind.
We forget that we have this internal genius and that it has all access to all information,
But yet we still live operating on our own conditioned mind and our little self.
So we want to be able to access that genius self a little more often.
And you know how it is when we have some sort of issue up or problem,
It seems to dominate all of our attention.
In fact,
Even like yesterday,
I bit my lip.
Have you ever done that?
I bit my lip and for so long,
All day,
All this,
All I notice is the problem.
All I notice is this thing,
My tongue's running over,
And it's just like this little teeny thing,
But internally we go to the problem,
Like our attention,
Our mind,
Everything just zooms right into that problem.
But that's not the way we unfold and solve problems by focusing on the problem.
And we have to learn to do it a different way,
Accessing our own subconscious power,
Accessing that which is within us and going to a higher,
More expansive place in order to get the information,
The ideas,
And the solutions that we can't access at our own conditioned mind.
Would that be good?
Yeah.
Thumbs up.
All right.
Good.
So I'd like to share a story.
And one morning,
I woke up,
And this is true.
One morning,
I woke up and I was 20 years old.
And I knew in that minute of waking up,
I knew I had a problem.
And I knew it was a big problem.
And I was scared to death.
This fear just rose up inside of me.
I was single.
I had no family around.
I was living in Salt Lake City.
They had all moved out and moved to Fresno,
Of all places.
And I was living there by myself.
I'd broken up with a boyfriend.
I didn't really like him that much after all.
You know how that goes?
Well,
I woke up and I knew I was pregnant.
And that's a problem.
And I was just like so afraid.
I just knew that feeling rose up and my body had been doing things and I knew it was true.
And I faced that.
And I did what any other 20-year-old girl that wakes up in the morning and finds herself pregnant does,
If she's smart.
I went skiing.
That's right.
I knew I had to go to the mountain.
I knew I had to go to the mountain.
I drove and I drove and I drove and I drove up that mountain and up that mountain.
And I got up to that mountain.
And it was interesting because the higher I went,
The better I started to feel.
And then I got on the ski lift and I'm crying all the way.
I'm crying like the whole day.
I'm crying.
I'm going up higher,
Higher,
Higher,
And getting up to that high,
High mountain peak.
And through a couple of those runs and skiing and going down,
I'm tapping into that place and praying and I began to realize that it was going to be okay.
Like when you go to a higher place and get above that,
Something else gets activated.
And that's what happened to me in that day.
And while the first half of the day I'm in tears and I'm in terror,
From that perspective,
I was able to access and through prayer and surrender,
Access that part within me that when I drove down that mountain to go home,
I was new.
And from that place forward,
I wasn't contemplating all the terror that this would bring me.
I now begin to contemplate all the joy that this new life would bring me.
And from that point forward,
I did.
I contemplated the joy and everything worked out so amazing,
Beautiful to bring me my gorgeous daughter Athena,
My first goddess girl.
And so today I look at this and it's like I wanted to share these five ideas because it is we do have within us something else,
Some greater mind that is within us.
But the way we get locked into the fear-based thinking and the conditioned mind,
We get locked into that fear-based thinking and the conditioned mind.
And from that place,
We can't come up with any new solutions.
We can't solve a problem at the mind that created the problem.
So we've got to go to a higher place.
And so five principles I want to share with you.
And as I share them,
I invite you to consider which one of these practices maybe it might be time for you to focus on a little bit because usually there are certain things you do okay and there's something else that you know that maybe you could learn and it could help you.
So the first thing is to practice the present moment.
And what I mean by that is I practice relaxation.
We can't solve anything in the energy of fear.
And our mind is traditionally programmed to be a fear-based mind.
It automatically goes to the problem.
It's trying to keep you safe.
It automatically goes to the problem.
So our opportunity is we got to like stop,
Go to the present moment.
I like the 90 second,
Just go to the breath,
Just breathe.
90 seconds.
The brain is only producing those fear-based,
Those anger,
Fear hormones for 90 seconds if you don't keep contemplating those fear-based thoughts.
So 90 seconds of focusing on the breath,
Counting three,
Three,
Three,
Doing some sort of practice to come mindful,
To be paying attention like right now,
Paying attention with your eyes open.
What is it that you're seeing looking around your room?
What do you notice?
What can you hear?
What can you touch?
What can you feel?
These 90 seconds can interrupt this fear-based thinking and bring us back to a place of power.
So the first thing is just practicing the present moment in order to relax.
The second practice to remember is to practice principles.
And this is the place where we start to,
We've got to understand that there are universal principles at work.
And your own subconscious mind,
Your own subconscious mind is so creating your perceptions and creating your life.
And when you study this more and more,
Like I have and so many other people,
You begin to realize that what I contemplate most becomes my reality.
What I think about and contemplate,
I bring about.
And when we have a problem,
The tendency is to think about that as we've already ascertained.
So with that to begin to practice and practice what is it and who would I be if I did not have that?
And how can I come from that more often?
How can I make commands to the subconscious mind that says,
I know that it's solved now.
I let it go and I come into the solution.
I let the subconscious take care of that.
I let the inner mind take care of that.
I let God take care of that.
Whatever you need to say in order for you to come back into another reality and another place that says,
I'm happy.
It's like in that first step,
I began to contemplate baby clothes.
I began to contemplate names.
I began to contemplate what a wonderful mother I would be.
So it's like moving.
If you didn't have that,
Who would you be and how might you be able to stand in that and be that?
Contemplate that.
Contemplate that which you want to be,
Not contemplate what you don't want.
What would it feel like to be more courageous?
What would it feel like to be more confident?
What would it feel like to be more successful?
What would it feel like to be living your own authentic life on a day to day basis?
What would it feel like if you knew your family was fine?
What would it feel like to know that your body is healing perfect in every way?
What would it feel like?
What do you want and be that now?
And that is a skill that takes skill.
We don't access it from the conditioned busy mind,
Do we?
So that's why we have to go into the present moment first and then we have to focus on that which we want to experience more of because the subconscious mind is your servant.
It is your servant.
It is like when you are as a writer and as any kind of a creative knows,
They can access the subconscious mind to bring forth ideas by giving it a command and saying bring forth an idea for a great title.
Bring forth an idea for a great story.
Bring forth an idea for this great piece of art,
This music.
But it doesn't show up yet.
There's a period where it takes for the subconscious mind to bring some ideas to you and in order for that to happen,
You've got to keep the soil clean.
Now what would happen if you put I am having a fantastic great idea,
Right?
What would happen?
And then you focused on all the bad ideas.
So that leads us to number three which is an important part is practice purification.
Practice purification.
So that means it's like tilling the soil,
Clearing the thorns out of the soil,
Noticing when we're focusing on the problem again,
Noticing when we've got some real issues that are coming up and getting in the way that we can begin to choose again to practice this principle.
And this is part of life.
This is why you go on a show like this.
This is why we go to therapy.
This is why we go to classes.
This is why we read books.
We want to have self-awareness so that we can keep practicing.
We keep forgiving.
Keep letting go.
Keep clearing.
Keep doing processes to release the unconscious blocks that are getting in the way so that we might be able to plant a garden that grows with the seeds that we are planting.
So the subconscious mind is,
It's important to realize that it receives exactly what we put into it,
Whether we put into it consciously or unconsciously.
It doesn't say,
Well,
That was not a very nice thing to say,
Jen,
Stop.
Don't think that way.
It doesn't argue at all.
So if I'm not consciously saying over and over,
I am confident,
I am well,
I am loved,
I am safe,
I am supported,
I am expanding,
If I'm not focusing on that and I'm focusing on fear,
Then my subconscious mind says,
Hey,
Your wish is my command.
Let me give you something else to be afraid of.
Let me give you something else because I love you so much.
Let me give you more.
Let me give you more of that.
That's why this is a daily process.
This is a daily process to go into mindfulness.
This is a daily process to put our attention on what we're listening to,
To put our attention,
Never go to bed.
What you put into your mind right before you go to sleep gives your subconscious mind orders for the night.
So whenever you're up against some situation or some problem or something,
When you go to bed,
Give your unconscious mind instructions to find a solution.
Go to sleep and say,
Hey,
Handle this for me.
I know that everything that I need to know to be able to find the solution is right there within me and as I sleep tonight,
Work it all out.
I know that I'm safe,
I know that I'm confident,
I know that I'm well,
I know that all is well,
I know that I'm loved.
And go to sleep on that.
When you wake up in the morning affirming that,
Which leads us to number four.
So we've got number one,
Right,
Practicing the present moment.
Number two,
Practicing principle every day,
Practicing the principle,
What am I putting in?
And number three,
Practicing purification,
A constant cleansing,
A constant letting go,
A constant letting go of that which no longer serves.
And then number four is practicing praise,
Practicing gratitude.
Right now,
You know,
Right now there was a whole mouth that was working fine,
But yet I'm focusing on this little problem in my little lip,
Right?
Practicing praise hooks us up to knowing that it's all handled.
And practicing praise and gratitude and thankfulness raises our vibration to be in a higher level that can receive more.
Practicing praise for what is going well,
Practicing praise for all that we do have reverses the flow of giving the command to looking at what we're afraid of or what doesn't work,
To practicing praise.
And then finally,
Practicing patience.
Nothing ever shows up the way we think it will.
Practicing patience is what is a way of living where we're living in non-resistance and letting everything unfold as it's unfolding,
Knowing that everything's bringing us at the perfect right time.
Our mind traps us to a timeline that says this has to happen right here,
Right now,
And we get all in and not.
And now again,
We're practicing the principle in opposition to the direction that we want to receive.
Practicing patience is saying,
Hey,
I can trust my higher self.
I can trust God.
I can trust universal conscious mind.
I can trust my own subconscious mind to bring back to me everything that I need.
I can trust.
It doesn't have to happen in my timeline.
I can trust and let go and know that all is well.
The thing to remember in all of this is that our state,
Our vibration,
Our feeling tone is creating all the time.
What must I do in order to come back to a feeling tone,
A high vibration,
A knowing all is well,
A living from that freedom,
That confidence,
That power,
Living from that place where we manifest and live our own authentic life.
It doesn't mean it's perfect.
It just means that we feel like we're in alignment with who we are and where we're going.
Everything isn't perfect all the time,
And that's all right.
We're not perfect all the time,
And guess what?
That's all right too.
The only thing that matters is that we're coming back and learning and growing.
All of life's experiences are happening for us.
Everything is happening for us that we can become more of what we are created to be.
We've got those five practices that you can work on this week,
Yes?
Let's do what's really important and what really works.
That is today's hypno process.
Start calling it a hypno process because it's a combination of something of really working with your internal knowing,
Your internal voice,
Your subconscious mind,
Your even superconscious mind to heal,
Release,
And establish new internal resources in order to have what you want.
Today we're going to do a process to help you release something that's in the way of your next desire,
Next soul evolution,
Something.
Only you know what that is exactly.
I would like to first ask permission of you that who's ever listening to this right now,
Whether it is right here live or on YouTube or on the podcast,
It's important for you to give permission for your own subconscious mind to get something out of this.
Do I have permission to guide you in this process?
Good.
So now is the time to settle in and you may start by just looking around you right now.
You may look at something in the room,
Gaze at something in the room.
If you're watching this,
You may gaze into my eyes.
Find something that you can look at and as you begin to just focus on one thing,
You may find that your eyes want to blink once or maybe twice.
You may find that your eyelids get a little heavy and it becomes time to close your eyes and relax.
That's right.
Just starting to relax,
Making sure that everything around you is the way it is that you can turn away from everything else so that you can listen to my voice and that my voice goes with you.
And if anyone is listening to this in the car,
You will also be able to keep your eye and your attention on the road while you also,
One part of your mind can do this process.
It's so wonderful to know that we are so expansive that we can do things and handle so many things.
And so as you're listening to my voice,
You're able to concentrate and clearly listen.
As your body relaxes deeply,
You find that your mind is still alert,
But yet it is calm.
You may notice that your thoughts and the busy mind can just kind of wander way off.
Maybe they can go off to a little black and white TV far away that you don't worry about all the busy mind.
That's right.
And just allow your body to relax even more.
As I take you on a journey,
As you hear this journey,
Just allow yourself to be taken down,
Down,
Down in deeper relaxation.
Just noticing your body and feeling the ground underneath you.
That's right.
Just surrounding yourself in light and knowing that you're safe and connect to the breath and with every breath becoming more and more relaxed.
And the more you relax,
The deeper you go deeper,
Deeper,
Deeper into a clear state of alert,
Mental alertness with the higher mind,
The higher mind,
The higher mind.
So join me in a journey now and use your imagination.
Use your imagination to see you now standing at the shore of a deep,
Powerful ocean and see that ocean in front of you and see you standing there and something in you knows that there is a solution deep,
Deep into that ocean.
And now imagining that you can walk into that ocean and you can begin to swim.
And if you ever had any fear of water before,
It is absolutely gone now and you are able to swim deeper and deeper and you're able to breathe under the water.
Perhaps you have scuba diving gear on and perhaps you know that you're magic and you can swim deep,
Deep,
Deep,
Going deeper and deeper,
Breathing easily under this water,
Feeling better and better and even more relaxed as you go deeper and deeper down under the water,
Deeper.
And the more you swim under the water,
The more relaxed you get and your body is relaxing and yet your mind is alert and you are hearing my voice and swimming deeper.
There it is.
You see it on the bottom of this ocean floor.
The answer to all you need is there and it appears to be a treasure box,
A great treasure box and you know deep within you that it has all the answers that you need to know for you right now in your life.
Whatever solutions you need are in that treasure box and you swim around it and the treasure box is completely covered in thick,
Rusty chains.
A lot of thick,
Rusty chains that are wrapped and knotted all around that treasure box and you grab one end of that chain because you know you want to get into this treasure box.
You want to get into this treasure box and so you begin to pull on and yank the chain.
You begin to pull and yank on that chain and shake that chain so that it begins to loosen and it begins to unravel just a little bit.
You begin to pull on it and swim away and pull on it and shake it some more and it begins to unravel a little bit more and some of those knots are beginning to unravel as you shake it.
You're able to swim around and kind of unhook some of those knots and swim even further and shaking it and it begins to unravel more and more and more and then it's pulled again and you feel stuck and you feel like you need some help and right then you call in help and there is a person in your mind right now that you know has the solution for you and perhaps it's someone that you love,
Someone in your life,
Perhaps it's a mentor,
Perhaps it's someone famous that comes to your mind,
Perhaps it's an angel or a God being or the light but something or someone has the answer that you need to unravel the chains and invite them in and see them coming down deep under the water to be there with you.
They are there with you.
If you're not sure who it is,
Just take the first thing or the light or being.
This one has the resources you need but they wait,
They have a question they want to ask you first.
What lesson?
What have you learned that is a positive benefit right now from this?
Whatever experiences is most dominant in your life,
What lesson can you learn and have you learned?
What's something good that you have been really actually getting from this circumstances that you can accept and having received the good and the lesson,
It will be easy for you to let it go now.
That's right.
You know what it is.
Just say it to yourself.
That's right.
And tell that resource person,
Thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you.
And ask for their help.
Ask for them to help you unravel whatever is left in the way in order for you to open that treasure box.
And then watch as they come to you and perhaps they touch you on the forehead or touch your lips or touch your heart and they grab that heavy chain right alongside with you.
And the magic and the power of them begins to shake that chain and you both begin to move away and shake it even more.
And as you move away from that,
It just starts to fall away.
And that heavy knotted chain and rusty chain just falls off of that treasure box altogether.
And you begin to move now closer to that treasure box and you get closer and closer because you know that in there is exactly what your heart desires.
And you move right into that and you're able with the help of your resource person,
You're able to take the lock off that treasure box and you are able to open the treasure box right now.
And you look in there and you see everything that you have been praying for.
What is in it?
Look,
Is there a message or an idea or an object or a symbol?
Deep deeply breathing it in whether you know or whether you do not know something within you knows exactly what that is.
Listen carefully.
And as you reach inside of that treasure,
Take something out of there that is a symbol that represents exactly what it is that you are receiving.
That's right.
And place it right in your heart.
Place it right in your heart.
Everything you need is there.
It is there for you.
Having released this problem,
Having released this problem,
It is bringing you more fully into your deepest heart's desire.
As you place that in your heart with your resource person,
You begin to move up,
Up,
Swimming up,
Up,
Up,
Swimming higher and higher.
You're going higher and higher now,
Higher and higher until you break through the surface of that water and right out walking out of that water,
You see this big mountain begin to move up that mountain.
Your resource person is with you climbing that mountain going higher and higher and higher and higher until you get to the very pinnacle of the mountain.
As you get to the very pinnacle of the mountain where you begin to feel that resource is already in you and is already blessed to and is already taking you to the place that you wanted to go and you are looking out at that and seeing and being it and integrating it in every way.
And as you look past and you look back to the now,
Back to this moment when you went down,
You look back and you can automatically look and see all the pieces that had to come into place that did come into play for you to be at that pinnacle at that mountain having solved that problem.
It's already there and everything that you needed was there.
And as you look back in your past,
You can see how it all worked out just fine and how wonderful it feels and how grateful that you feel feeling so much gratitude,
Feeling so much gratitude because you've already integrated that the problem has been solved.
You have what it is that you need and it feels so wonderful as you just basically come right back.
And as you come down the mountain,
You're going to take every part of the learning,
Every part of the gift that was in the treasure box,
Every part of the resources that your resource person brought you.
You're going to take every part and begin to integrate it into your unconscious mind,
Integrated into your actions,
Integrated into your thinking,
Integrated into all that you do in order to bring it fully manifest in your life in a wonderful way and a full alignment with your mind,
With your higher mind,
With every part of you.
Now bring it down,
Coming right down that mountain,
Coming right standing at the seashore right where you began,
Begin to feel it into your body,
Begin to come back right into your body.
As you bring it back into your body,
You're going to move deeply into that state of absolute gratitude,
Absolute gratitude to begin to how wonderful it is to have that fully present in you,
All the confidence,
All the life,
All the abundance,
All the support,
All the love,
Everything that you need right there in order to be integrated and how wonderful it feels to have this now that you can go about your day,
Enjoy your day,
Enjoy everything that you're doing today.
And it wonderful as you move into your week this week that you will begin to see manifestations and begin to realize all these principles that we talked about.
You're being able to live in alignment with a principle of universal law.
You're beginning to live in a principle more often feeding yourself with positive thoughts,
Focusing on that you're able to stand in the gratitude,
Taking everything and you will see evidence of this manifesting in your life and it feels free and it feels wonderful.
Begin to allow that freedom as you begin to come back here into the room,
Wherever you are right now,
Beginning to feel this integration taking place in your body right now,
Connecting to the breath,
Seeing,
Opening your eyes,
Looking around you,
Feeling awake and alive and alert,
Ready to have an amazing,
Amazing day today,
Taking with you everything you need,
Knowing all is well.
And so it is.

Wow, a few more pieces fell into place of meeting my long time dead very spiritual mother, who opened the magic box 😉 So beautiful, how that side In me always makes me do the right decisions, even if it often means leaving so much behind, to outgrow people around me so fast. Very good right now when felt sensitive outgrowing things/people I don’t need anyway. Thank you Janette, great insightful meditation. ♥️✨
