Life is busy, so this practice helps you intentionally savour the good in this moment. Often when we're feeling good,

Calm,

And relaxed,

We start to let our positive habits fall by the wayside and we start to miss the moments of good in our day.

So this technique just gives us a moment to really savor how good we're feeling in this moment,

To acknowledge how relaxed our body is,

And to engage in the mind when it's quiet and calm and clear.

So get yourself comfortable,

However that might be for you today.

You may wish to close your eyes and just take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your nose,

In through your nose,

Out through your nose.

And now allow your mind to wander to the body part that feels the most pleasurable right now,

Which part of you feels really good in this moment.

Maybe it's the smile on your face,

The weight of your shoulders.

Just really acknowledge in your body where you feel good.

How does it feel to feel this good?

And your mind will get pulled by other things.

It might go,

Oh,

But I've got an itch,

Or oh,

But my calves feel a bit tight.

We acknowledge that,

Say thank you,

And bring it back to where we feel pleasure,

Where we feel relaxed,

Where we feel good.

Amazing.

Now I want you to bring to mind something that's happened in your day that has made you feel good,

That has helped you to feel relaxed and calm.

Sometimes you'll hear these called glimmers.

So bring to mind at least one glimmer that has happened in your day,

Something that's brought a smile to your face,

Made you feel all warm and cozy and happy,

Connected with someone else.

And let's just spend a few moments with that feeling.

Perhaps it's in your heart space,

Perhaps it's in your mind.

Just acknowledge how good it feels to reflect on this glimmer.

And if you've got a few glimmers coming to mind,

That's beautiful.

Let's acknowledge that.

What a wonderful day you've had,

Full of these little moments of relaxation,

These little moments of regulation,

These moments when your nervous system has felt safe and seen.

That's beautiful.

Hopefully,

Just like this moment,

Where you can also acknowledge how calm and safe your body feels in this moment,

How good it feels to feel this good.

Amazing.

I would encourage you to take this practice away from this audio and just into your day-to-day,

Allowing yourself 10,

20,

30 seconds of acknowledging all the glimmers that come and go in your day-to-day life.

The smile from a colleague,

The thank you in an email,

And just allow yourself a second to acknowledge how good it feels to feel that good,

Even if it's only for 30 seconds.

Thank you for joining me today.

I hope to see you again soon.

Take care.
