Welcome to this meditation and thank you for showing up for yourself today.
I want you to settle in to where you are.
Whether you're lying down,
Sitting up,
Or going for a walk,
Powerful messages are coming your way and they're going to come from you.
I want you to take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
One more time.
And right now I'm going to count down from 10 and with each number I go down.
You're going to feel yourself getting more and more relaxed and more comfortable in the position that you are in.
Ten,
Nine.
You can focus on your breath.
Focus on different body parts.
Eight.
Relaxing.
Seven.
Taking more deep breaths.
Six.
Getting cozier and cozier.
Five.
Four.
Three.
Two.
One.
And now you're in a more relaxed state.
And I want you to place yourself in a memory where you left and left and left.
I want you to think about the people who were around you or if you were by yourself.
The thoughts you were thinking at that time.
Maybe a certain smell.
Noises.
What you were seeing.
I want you as this person in this time in this spot right now to look at that memory and to look at yourself and say,
You are right.
Life is good.
You are right.
Life is good.
You are right.
Life is good.
Keep smiling.
Keep laughing.
Cherish every moment of your life.
Now I want you to choose a memory in which you are quite broken or sad.
Look at yourself.
Think about who's around you.
What you're thinking.
What you see.
What you feel.
There's nothing to be afraid of in this moment in which you get yourself back into that place.
Because you recognize that you're sitting or walking or lying down and you're safe.
And so you look at that person who's very sad and broken.
And now you tell them life is good.
You are great.
And things will get better.
Life is good.
You are great.
And things will get better.
One more time.
This time really believe it.
Life is good.
You are great.
And things will get better.
Now I want you to take yourself to a spot in which you felt really good about yourself.
You felt proud of being you.
Think about what happened,
What your facial expression is in the moment,
How you feel,
What's around you in this moment,
What you smell,
See,
Hear,
And really place yourself in that moment.
Now I want you to go and tell that person,
Yes,
You are awesome.
Life is good.
You are great.
Again,
Yes,
You are awesome.
Life is good.
And you are great.
Again,
Yes,
You are awesome.
Life is good and you are great.
Now I want you to come back to yourself.
And I want you to see yourself in this position,
In this state in your life,
In this relaxed and meditative state.
Think about where you are.
Now in this moment,
You are safe.
You are calm.
Everything's okay.
I want you now to give yourself a message that you need to hear in this moment.
You don't need to think up an answer.
The answer will come to you.
And if it takes some time,
That's okay too.
We're not judging ourselves.
We're not criticizing ourselves.
We just are.
And we recognize from this experiment that we have all the answers inside of us.
That life is good.
We are great.
And everything will be okay.
