Finding yourself a comfortable position,
Somewhere that you can settle for just a couple of minutes.
Once you find that position,
Take a moment just to notice your surroundings.
Where are you right now?
What can you see?
What can you hear?
What can you feel?
Is there anyone or anything sharing this space with you?
Perhaps another person or a pet?
A plant?
Or the gentle hum of life itself?
Simply noticing the entire space that holds you.
What draws your attention?
Now just gently closing down the eyes.
Turning your attention towards your body.
Notice the weight of your body as it rests on the surface beneath you.
Where do you sense the support most clearly?
Allow yourself to be held,
Completely supported in this moment.
Now taking a long deep breath in through your nose.
Pausing gently at the top of the breath.
As you exhale slowly through your mouth,
Release anything that no longer serves you.
If it feels right and you have the time,
Stay for a few more rounds of breath.
Inhaling calm and exhaling release.
Wishing you calm and ease for the rest of your day.
Thank you for sharing this moment with me.
