Good morning,

My friend.

It's good to be with you.

And as we begin,

I just want to invite you to take a moment to find a comfortable posture.

One that allows you to be relaxed,

But also alert as you enter your day.

And so as you find this posture that best serves,

You might take a few full deep breaths.

Just inviting the awareness to begin to land in the present moment settling.

As you continue breathing,

Noticing if there's any areas of the body that are holding tension and seeing if you can soften in the belly,

In the chest,

In the shoulders,

In the arms,

In the eyes,

In the face,

And letting your energy move down into your seat.

And using the breath just to invite the body to soften and release down into the ground.

As you continue feeling the ground underneath you for these next few breaths,

Begin to inquire about the reason you're here right now.

You've chosen to do a morning practice today because there's something that you want for yourself.

So you might just check in with that,

Noticing really what is it that calls me to practice this morning?

What is my hope,

My wish for myself in taking this time?

Listening deeply,

Patiently in order to learn what the heart really wants,

What's really important.

Over the course of the day,

We get pulled in so many different directions.

And taking the time to really tune in with what matters can be very grounding and centering as we move into the day.

So you might begin to widen your awareness a little bit to take in what is my intention for today?

So not just for this morning in this practice,

But really,

As you begin to orient to the day ahead,

Just noticing what is it that really matters today?

How do I want to show up in this day?

You're there.

So you may notice that your mind is aware of some of the tasks that you have ahead or activities obligations.

So you might just take a moment to notice which are most important and which can you let go of.

Oftentimes we move with a sense of urgency and stress as we kind of decide which activities need our attention.

So this is really an invitation just to notice what's really required today and what's not.

If it's helpful to you,

You might choose or determine what are the three most important things I hope to accomplish or give my attention to today.

So anytime we're bringing intention into the day,

There's basically two parts to that.

And the first part as we've been exploring is what is it that I want to give my attention to?

Where do I want to put my energy today?

What really needs my attention?

And where do I want to place my attention?

And that's more kind of the task orientation to the day.

And then there's a second question around how do I want to move through the day?

Which is less about what we're doing and more about how we're doing.

So you might notice if there's,

For example,

An intention to be gentle or to move at a slow pace or to bring kindness and ease into the day.

Could be to bring confidence into the day or generosity.

So just taking a moment to check in and see kind of this question that we ask ourselves less often,

Which is how do I want to move through the day?

What are the qualities that I want to embody as I meet the day?

And now when you imagine moving through the day in the way that you intend to,

Notice how that feels on the inside when you see yourself moving in this way,

Being in this way.

So I think that's just a question.

You're probably noticing that it feels really good to be able to move and behave in the ways that really align with our deepest aspirations and intentions for ourselves and who we want to be really in this life.

And we'll do one final reflection to close here.

So if it feels available to you,

Placing a hand on your heart,

Just noticing that touch for a few moments,

Breathing,

Receiving your hand on your chest.

And when you're ready,

Turning to the question,

What is it that matters most to me in my life?

What is it that matters most to you?

And what would it look like to honor and keep at the forefront today what came up for you?

If the center of your life today was what matters the most to you,

What would that look like?

And what does that feel like?

When what you truly treasure is the center of your world,

The center of today,

Right now this moment,

How does that feel?

So taking a few more breaths and you can stay with your reflection or drop and kind of come back to the body.

Just breathing and letting this intentional practice kind of sink in and nourish you.

And noticing how you feel now,

As opposed to how you feel or how you felt when we first started.

Seeing if there's any difference there.

Thank you for your attention,

For your intention,

And for your practice.

And my wish is that may you be well today.

May you be happy and peaceful.

May you know joy and connection.

May you be safe and secure.

And may your deepest intention be realized today and every day.
