I guide you through a short meditation where we'll use our senses to ground within the present, from there an insight in purposeful living is free to arise. Connect to your core-values, the reason why you're sitting here and take this insight into your day.

Right now,

What do you see?

Look around the room you're sitting in,

With fresh beginner's eyes.

Don't think about the things you're seeing.

Merely observe.

Now close your eyes.

What do you hear?

Again,

No need to think or analyze.

Pure observation.

What sensations do you feel in your body?

Don't judge them.

Simply be aware.

And ask yourself the honest question.

Why are you here?

What are you trying to change?

What is of true importance to you in your life?

Observe whatever shows up.

Again,

Without judging or analyzing.

Simply watch and listen.

And then shift your attention to the sensation of your feet touching the ground beneath.

Feel your toes.

Feel the ball of the foot.

Feel the mid part.

It touches the floor a bit more lightly.

And then all the way back to the heel of the foot.

Where you might feel more pressure.

And then slightly press your feet a bit more firmly into the ground.

Feel the tension in your legs.

Feel your breath.

And open your eyes.
