Welcome to meditation.

This is going to be a morning meditation.

Meditation you can listen to while still in bed to get your morning going and start the day off right.

So let's find our comfortable position.

You can remain sitting in your bed or lying in your bed.

Make any adjustments that you need to to increase your comfort level even by five to ten percent.

Allow your body to still and then I want you to begin focusing in on the breath.

Paying attention to it from beginning to end.

Being attentive to the full cycle as the air comes in through the nose.

Feeling the changes in the movement in the chest and the stomach.

Tracking it until the breath leaves the body through the mouth.

Follow your breath closely for about five breathing cycles.

Let's shift our awareness to the body for a moment.

Really plugging into our body.

I want you to do so by bringing your mind in to focus on the connection points in between your body and whatever is beneath you.

Take a moment and notice what parts of your body are connecting to again whatever is underneath you.

Maybe you can feel the back of your head touching your pillow,

The bed underneath your back,

Your legs.

Feeling present in your body and rooted and grounded.

Slow inhaling through the nose.

Hold briefly and release through the mouth.

I want you to take a moment and picture what you have for the day.

What does your day look like?

Allow your brain to do an at-a- glance of your day.

I want you to apply this guidance to your day.

Just take a moment and run through your day.

We're mentally preparing for the day.

We know what's to come.

We know what to expect but we're picturing it going well.

I want you to run through with it through the day with it going well.

No hiccups.

Things are going with ease.

Breathe that in and exhale.

Take your time in that.

You're always welcome to pause and resume when you're ready.

I want you to also take a moment and think about the feelings that you want to feel today.

How do you want to feel today?

Happy?

Joyful?

Excited?

Content?

Satisfied?

How do you want to feel today?

Identify a few feeling words and then take a moment and think about your thought structure for the day.

What kind of thought structure are you planning for your day?

Helpful thoughts?

Encouraging thoughts?

Truthful?

Rational?

We are projecting that into our day.

We are injecting it into our day.

We will think positive.

We will think helpful ways.

Rational ways.

Encouraging ways.

Take a moment and set a couple goals for the day.

Just two to three.

Nothing overwhelming.

Something that is realistic that can be tackled in this coming day.

Then let's wrap up by offering ourselves some positive affirmations to move through our day with.

You are welcome to customize and make your own.

But let's begin with some encouraging affirmations.

I am going to have a wonderful day.

I am going to have a wonderful day.

I am going to have a wonderful day.

My day will be filled with pleasantries and ease.

My day will be filled with pleasantries and ease.

My day will be filled with pleasantries and ease.

I will feel calm,

Collected,

And in control today.

I will feel calm,

Collected,

And in control today.

I will feel calm,

Collected,

And in control today.

And let's end with reassuring ourself.

This one can be hard sometimes.

I love myself.

Hand or hands to heart.

I love myself.

Say it with genuineness.

I love myself.

Now I want you to go tackle your day.

Thank you so much.
