This is a breathwork practice focusing on your lower belly and womb space.

This is a place of boundless creativity and unconditional love and home to the frequency of safety and belonging.

Today we'll be using an open mouth connected breath which is more active than some other breathing techniques.

This is great for expanding your consciousness and surrendering.

If you are pregnant,

Have any breathing challenges or really any health concerns at all,

Please choose a different practice for today.

First check your space all around even behind you allowing your thinking mind to register that it is safe enough to let go of its control just for a few minutes.

Lie your body down.

Your legs can be flat or knees pointed up,

Whichever feels most supportive.

Just begin by feeling the weight of your body held and cradled.

No matter how heavy you feel,

No matter how much you let go,

We will always be supported during this breathing.

So we're going to begin with your mouth open and no gaps between the breaths.

It'll sound something like this.

Bringing a little force and maybe a little speed above normal.

This allows your mind to let go of its control so that the body can lead during this practice.

Breathing directly in and out as if you could breathe from your womb.

Feeling the energy building,

Shifting,

Maybe releasing.

Always focusing on your womb space.

Continuing to breathe in and out,

No gaps.

Awareness centered on your womb space.

Knowing that any discomfort will pass.

Remembering that your body is physically safe.

Stay with it.

Opening up to what wants to be experienced.

Maybe it's the completion of a stress cycle.

Maybe a message wants to come through.

Maybe there are experiences that are ready to be integrated.

Even if it's very subtle or confusing,

Trust that whatever is happening is exactly what is needed right now.

Remaining aware of your womb space.

The center of creation.

The source of life and love.

Notice what is tingling.

Notice what feels alive.

You can name these sensations out loud or just bring your awareness to them.

Vibrating,

Heavy,

What's going on.

And this is not a typical meditation.

So if you want to move your arms and legs,

Let them move.

It's okay to make fists.

It's okay to kick.

It's okay to make sound.

Sound and movement are such powerful tools to release old wounds and free up stuck energy.

Maybe you hum,

Shout,

Flail.

Or maybe you're still allowing the energy to move,

Follow whatever path it wants.

Trust that your body is constantly seeking healing and repair.

Almost there.

Just a couple more big breaths.

Now slowing down.

Returning to a regular breath.

Checking in on your womb space.

Allowing that focus to broaden from just your lower belly to your whole torso.

Stretching out to your shoulders and your knees.

Now to your head and your feet.

Just noticing what's going on in your body.

Bringing that loving awareness top to bottom and inviting stillness.

Now doing something sweet.

Maybe hugging yourself,

Stroking your hair,

Cupping your heart.

Whatever feels loving and nourishing.

And taking another moment to rest and integrate this experience.

Now making a plan to invite even more pleasure.

Hot tea,

Chocolate,

Dance.

What can you do next?

Trusting that no matter what,

Your body knows what it needs.

And this practice was enough.
