
Grounding

This powerful meditation will help you to deeply ground and settle your energy. In this meditation we release energy not serving us and we call in the energy we would like to carry in our space. It is a meditation that can be used over and over again anytime needed.

Hello,
I'm Chana Marie.
I'm an energy healer.
I'm also an artist,
A mom,
And a meditation teacher.
And throughout the years I have been doing a lot of healing myself.
I found meditation through that process.
Through my own healing journey one of the first things that I really needed to learn how to do was learn how to ground.
And so that is why I created this meditation for you today.
So by grounding specifically what I'm talking about is the opportunity to really connect in with the earth and to release whatever's in your space that isn't serving you in present moment.
And this may be new to you or this may be something that you do all the time.
Either way this meditation is for you.
If it's new to you I'm really happy to teach you this new tool so you'll have it in your toolbox for whenever you need it.
And if you've done this before this is just an opportunity to really deepen into your grounding and really connect with the earth and find some stability for you today.
So I invite you to go ahead and close your eyes.
In most of my meditations I teach from the advantage of like sitting up in a chair with your back against the chair and your feet on the ground.
But feel free to be in whatever position is most comfortable to you and you can just adapt.
So with your eyes closed go ahead and soften your face.
I'm going to start to really soften your forehead,
Your cheeks,
Your jaw,
Soften your neck.
Just drop your shoulders.
Notice your breathing.
Notice it go in.
Notice it go out.
Notice what part of your body you're breathing from.
Start to deepen that breathing.
Maybe bring it all the way down to your stomach.
Notice your movement of your body.
Just relax into your breath.
Notice your sit bone on the chair.
Start to really relax your legs.
Notice your feet.
Start to relax those toes.
Soften those heels and ankle.
Notice that connection to your feet with the ground.
Start to feel that earth energy.
Move your energy to the center of your head.
Just notice that space in your head and behind your third eye.
Your third eye in your forehead.
That space is your intuition space.
We're kind of kind of put our energy in that space as we look at other parts of us.
As we look at our body and the space around it.
Just put your energy in the middle of this space inside the center of your head.
From here we're just noticing,
Seeing,
Maybe feeling.
From here we're going to create the vision of a grounding cord.
And by grounding cord,
Specifically what I'm talking about is something that connects your spinal cord to the center of the earth.
And today if you're new to this you can use a tree trunk.
You can choose any type of tree trunk that you want.
You can use an ancient redwood or you can use a maple or an oak or whatever you're calling to.
Or something flowery.
Whatever you're calling to today.
And if this is something that's not new to you you can choose something even more elaborate or something else that might be calling to you.
Maybe something playful.
Maybe just a beam of light.
Whatever is calling to you in this moment that you want to use as a grounding cord.
Whatever you've chosen you're going to picture it attached to the base of your spine.
And you're going to move it down towards the core of the earth.
So you're going to see it go into the soil.
Go down past layers and layers of earth,
Through water,
Through rock,
Through sand and gravel.
Picture that little ball in the very very center of the earth.
Just attach it in.
If you're doing a tree trunk I like to see the roots kind of go in and just kind of hold on to that core.
Attach it any way you like.
Just notice how your body feels as that's attached to the core.
We're going to set the intention here that this grounding cord acts as a magnet and just kind of sucks and pulls out any of the energy that's not serving you in present moment.
So just notice what's leaving your space.
Just allow it to work for you.
You may just notice an energy.
You may see a color.
You may notice people in your space.
And just allow them the opportunity to go.
Your body and the space around your body is just for you.
So anything that's not serving you right now can just be dropped on that grounding cord and given to the earth.
Maybe it's just worry or anxiety or anything getting in the way of your own energy right now.
Just let it go and really settle into your own space.
And you can set the intention and whether you're conscious of this or not conscious of this,
This grounding cord could just serve the purpose of letting go of all the energy that's not serving you in present moment.
And you can leave this grounding cord on throughout the rest of the day and it will continue to work for you even as you're going through the motions of your day.
So now I want you to create the big golden Sun or a big bubble of golden light above your head.
You can just see this or know it's there.
Just beautiful big huge golden Sun above your head.
And in the Sun I want you to call in whatever you need in this moment to kind of fill in that space of all that you released.
Whatever is calling to you and you can see this as a word,
You can see this as a color,
You can see this as an object.
Just put it in your Sun.
Maybe you want to bring in joy or compassion or self-love,
Ease,
Validation or something else.
Just notice what it is for you that you need to bring in in this moment to fill those spots of all the things that you've released.
When your bright golden Sun is all filled with what you want to bring in,
Just kind of see yourself kind of poke it and pop it and let it come through your body.
Just watch the golden rays just move through and you might feel this might feel warm.
You might just see it or you might just know that it's moving and just watch it move through your head,
Down your neck,
Out your shoulders,
Down your arms,
And out your hands,
Down your torso,
Your legs,
And your feet.
See it fill up the space around you.
When you're all filled in and the space around you is all filled in,
Start to notice your feet on the ground,
Again your connection to the earth.
Start to notice your breath again.
Start to notice your shift in energy.
Slowly you can start moving your body,
Maybe swaying a little bit,
Rolling your shoulders,
And when you're ready,
You can slowly start to come out of meditation.
And I invite you anytime you need a little extra grounding,
You need to release,
And you need to bring in something to help you throughout any day or night,
You can use this meditation whenever you need it.
I often love to start my day with it or I'll do it in the shower.
So anytime that you want to bring this in to help you to feel a little more stable,
Please do so.

I thought this would be more about grounding into physical sensations so the tree and sun imagery were unexpected, but I loved it and it really worked for me! Thanks Shawna 💚🌳
