Hey guys,
My name is Rohil and today I'm going to be taking you on a meditation journey.
It's a short 3 minute meditation where we are going to try to release negative emotions and so that you can feel better instantly.
So if you are by your computer,
If you are sitting on a chair,
Try not to use the backrest,
Trying to keep your back completely straight.
If you are sitting on your bed or on the floor,
You can come into a cross-legged position.
But again,
Not resting your back against the wall,
Try to sit upright and straight.
And we just begin by closing our eyes,
Taking a long deep inhale,
Expanding your belly as you inhale.
And exhaling completely,
Belly contracting.
Inhale deeply,
Expanding the belly.
Inhale completely,
Belly contracting.
Keeping your eyes closed.
And I want you to think about one thing that is troubling you today,
Something that has you emotionally occupied.
It can be a fear,
An anxiety,
Anger,
Sadness,
Whatever it might be that is troubling you emotionally at this moment or over a period of time in your life.
Just trying to think of that one thing,
That one emotional issue or that emotion that you are trying to access that is in some ways causing you trouble.
And once you have that emotion in your mind,
Once you are thinking about it,
I want you to keep thinking about that emotion.
And we are going to take a long deep inhale through the nostrils.
And exhaling out with our mouth open.
All the while you are going to keep your eyes closed.
So inhaling deeply and exhaling,
Feeling as though you are releasing this emotion with the sigh out of your mouth.
We will do that five more times.
Inhaling deeply.
Exhaling,
Releasing.
Inhaling deeply as you inhale,
Visualizing yourself taking fresh,
Clean energy from the environment around you.
And exhaling with the mouth open.
Last three times.
Inhaling deeply,
Taking in fresh energy through your nostrils.
And exhaling with a sigh,
Releasing those stagnant emotions.
Inhale deeply.
And exhaling with your mouth open.
Last time,
Inhaling deeply.
And exhaling with the mouth open.
And then letting your breath just return to regular normal deep breath.
Keeping your eyes closed.
And I want you to finish this meditation by thinking of one thing that you are grateful for.
Anything that you can be grateful for yourself for.
Just saying thank you to yourself for that one thing.
Anything.
It could be any single thing.
And then we can slowly open our eyes.
