Welcome to day 10.
Wow.
Two handfuls of days that you've taken 10 minutes out of your day to get to know yourself better.
We start this meeting with yourself today by settling into your comfortable sitting position.
Hands on your lap,
On your legs.
Sitting up nice and tall through the spine and the neck.
And then closing down the eyes.
Bring all your attention into the heart center.
Begin by taking a few deeper breaths than normal into the space where the heart lives.
In through the nose and then out through the mouth.
Return back to breathing in through the nose and out through the nose.
Still directing your breath into the space behind your chest.
The space where your heart lives.
Feel that connection that you have with yourself.
The connection that you have with your heart.
Your intuition.
The love you have for yourself and for others.
How does that space feel?
As you breathe in and out.
Does it feel open or closed?
Tight or loose?
Are there emotions that come up when you breathe into that space?
Everything we do is serving the heart.
The heart is serving everything we do.
Follow the influence of your heart.
Follow the connection of your heart.
So start to throw an anchor at the center of your chest.
Throw an anchor to the space where the heart lives.
And then make your way into the top of your head.
Feel the connection that your heart has with the very top of your head.
The connection that your heart has with your ears,
Your forehead,
Your eyes,
Your nose,
Your mouth,
Your jaw and your tongue.
And make your way back to the center where you place the anchor.
And then follow the influence of your heart down your two arms,
Through your shoulders,
Your upper arms,
Your elbows,
Your forearms,
Your wrists,
The top of your hands,
The palms of your hands,
The fingertips.
Feel the connection between your heart and your fingertips.
And then make your way back to where you placed the anchor at the start.
Make your way down your body,
Down your abdomen,
Into your hips.
Feel the connection between your heart and your hips.
Make your way down your thighs,
Your knees,
Your calves,
Your ankles,
Your heels,
Your feet,
And your toes.
Feel the connection between your heart and your toes.
How your heart is influencing your ability to walk or run and make your way through life.
And then slowly make your way back up your legs,
Through your hips,
Up your abdomen,
Back to the very center,
To that space where the heart lives.
And as you go deeper within yourself,
You will naturally come to realize that there is an aspect of your being that is always there and it never changes.
This is your sense of awareness,
Your consciousness.
It is this awareness that is aware of your thoughts,
Aware of your experience,
Aware of the flow of emotions,
And aware of how you receive physical senses.
This is the root of the self.
You are not your thoughts.
You're only aware of your thoughts.
You're not your emotions.
You feel your emotions.
And you're not your body.
You look at it in a mirror and experience this world through its eyes and ears.
You are the conscious being who is aware that you are aware of all those inner and outer things.
You are the conscious being who is aware of all those inner and outer things.
You are the conscious being who is aware of all those inner and outer things.
And when you're ready,
Notice where your attention is.
Bring it back into your body.
Bring your attention into your breath and start to deepen it.
Slowly start to begin to move your fingers and toes.
Become aware of the space around you.
Notice the sounds in the room and beyond.
Take three deeper breaths than normal.
Breathing out so you can audibly hear the outward breath.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
Sit quietly for maybe a couple minutes contemplating on your experience.
Thank you for being here.
And I'll see you tomorrow.
Namaste.
