Begin by getting your body into a relaxed position,

Noticing the straightness of your spine,

But not tightening your spine.

Just noticing your hands resting in your lap,

Maybe with your palms upward,

A sign that you are ready to receive whatever it is that this music has to bring you for today.

Notice your breathing,

And notice that when you breathe in,

You breathe down into your hips,

Grounding your body.

And when you breathe out,

Your spine lengthens.

So when you're breathing out,

There's this upward movement in your spine,

Noticing the space in between your vertebrae.

And when you breathe down,

You feel your body grounded,

Maybe even noticing your feet planted on the floor,

Feeling the energy of the earth coming up through the soles of your feet into your body.

And take in a few moments now to just observe this process of breathing down,

In,

And down,

Breathing out and up.

Noticing your body beginning to relax,

Noticing your body grounded,

And allowing yourself to only acknowledge the thoughts that you're having as they come in.

Not holding on to any thoughts,

But just noticing the thoughts and allowing them to move along as if it were a leaf in the breeze.

So that leaf is still there,

But it is floated out of your view.

So maybe noticing each thought as a leaf falling gently from a tree.

You notice it.

You notice how the wind carries it or how your thought process carries that thought.

And then drifting away outside of your perspective,

Outside of your view.

And when the leaf or that thought is outside of your view,

You just let go of it.

And continuing this each time you have a thought.

And noticing your breathing still grounding your body as this imagery grounds your mind,

Helps you focus,

And brings your attention within.

Alright?

You You You You You And now that your body and your mind Are both calmer Allow yourself to enjoy the music and enjoy this time you have set aside for yourself To take care of yourself Taking a few moments just to be present To notice the music To notice your body calm and relaxed In your mind slowed down You You You You You You You You
