Welcome,
My name is Staré and this is a gratitude meditation designed for moments when life feels full or even overwhelming.
You don't need to feel positive or grateful right away.
This practice isn't about fixing or reframing.
It's about gently noticing what's here and allowing support to be received.
Begin by noticing your breath just as it is.
If there's tension,
Pressure,
Or a sense of overwhelm present,
Allow it to be here.
Nothing needs to be pushed away.
Sometimes gratitude doesn't arrive as joy.
Sometimes it arrives as honesty.
You might silently acknowledge there is a lot happening right now and that's okay.
See if you can bring gentle appreciation to something simple.
The breath arriving on its own.
The way your body is being supported.
The fact that you paused just to be here.
Gratitude doesn't need to be big.
It can be quiet.
It could be neutral.
It can be present.
Now instead of searching for more to be grateful for,
Allow yourself to receive what's already here.
You might imagine support moving toward you.
Not because you earned it,
But because you are allowed to receive it.
You don't have to know what's coming next.
For this moment,
It's enough to know that ease,
Support,
And possibility are allowed to find you.
Take a moment to notice if anything has shifted since the beginning of this practice.
You may not feel lighter.
You may not feel better.
And that's okay.
Gratitude does not require transformation.
It only asks for honesty.
If it feels available,
Bring to mind one small thing you're going to appreciate in this moment.
Not because it's perfect,
But because it's here.
Maybe it's your breath still moving.
Maybe it's the fact that you paused long enough to listen and give yourself some space and time Maybe it's your body carrying you through another moment.
Let that appreciation be simple,
Quiet,
Without pressure.
And if gratitude still feels distant,
You can simply acknowledge yourself for staying,
For listening,
For allowing this moment to be exactly as it is.
Because that too is enough.
And so are you.
Let this meditation be a reminder that gratitude can meet you exactly where you are.
Even on hard days,
You're welcome to return to this practice whenever you need a space to receive reassurance or put your mind at ease.
Just remember that you don't have to hold everything on your own.
