You've arrived at a gentle pause in your day.

Take a moment to settle in.

Find a comfortable position.

Let your shoulders soften and allow a long,

Slow breath to gently move through you.

In and out.

Let this space become a small sanctuary,

A pause in your day,

A place where you don't have to hold everything together.

As you breathe,

Feel the weight of your body gently supported.

Nothing is required of you right now.

You are safe to soften,

Safe to release,

Safe to simply be.

Let your breath become a soft rhythm.

In and out.

Rising,

Falling.

Allow a subtle sense of calm to begin opening inside you.

Letting go isn't something we force.

It isn't about pretending we don't care or pushing feelings away or shutting down.

True letting go is an act of trust,

A willingness to release the parts of life we cannot shape or control so that we can direct our energy toward what is within our influence.

When we cling too tightly to outcomes,

To other people's choices,

Or to circumstances beyond our reach,

Our nervous system stays tangled in tension.

But when we soften our grip even slightly,

The body relaxes,

The breath deepens,

And we return to the present moment,

The only place where peace is possible.

Letting go is not giving up.

It is choosing freedom over struggle.

It is choosing inner steadiness over constant strain.

And it begins with a single breath,

The breath you are taking right now.

Bring your attention back to your body.

Notice your jaw,

Your forehead,

Your throat.

If anything feels tight,

Offer it your breath.

With the exhale,

Imagine the tension melting away,

Even just a little.

Now gently bring to mind something you have been trying to manage or fix,

A worry,

A situation,

A fear,

A future unknown.

No need to analyze it.

Just observe it as if you were watching a cloud move across a wide sky.

Feel your body's response.

A slight bracing,

A subtle tightening,

A holding.

Place one hand on your heart.

Feel its warmth.

Feel its rhythm.

And silently say,

I don't have to control this.

Let those words ripple through you.

Feel the relief they carry,

The softness,

The truth.

I don't have to control this.

Imagine holding this worry in your hands.

You've carried it for so long.

Feel its weight.

Now with great gentleness,

Imagine placing it down,

On the earth,

On soft grass,

On a warm sandy shore,

Wherever feels right.

Feel your shoulders drop.

Feel the space opening in your chest.

Feel the lightness of not carrying what you were never meant to hold.

Let your breath deepen,

In and out.

If the worry returns,

That's okay.

Worries are waves,

Rising,

Falling,

Passing.

Your task is not to stop the waves,

But to let them move through without clinging.

Use your breath as your anchor.

Let presence be your home.

Inhale,

I soften.

Exhale,

I let go.

Allow a few slow breaths here.

Spacious,

Gentle,

Unforced.

Now imagine a warm golden light surrounding you.

It pours over your body like sunlight through leaves.

This light holds you with unconditional steadiness.

The light gathers every heavy thing inside you,

Every expectation,

Every pressure,

Every burden you've been carrying.

And with every exhale,

The light dissolves a little more of it.

You do not have to hold it.

You do not have to figure anything out.

You get to rest here.

Breathe,

Soften,

Release.

Another deep breath in and a long,

Slow breath out.

Feel a wave of ease moving through you.

Feel the space you have created in your mind and body.

Feel the deep calm of letting go.

Bring your awareness gently back to your body.

Wiggle your fingers,

Your toes.

Sense the room around you.

And when you're ready,

Whisper inwardly,

I choose peace.

Carry this softness with you into the rest of your day.
