Being a parent can sometimes be challenging.

Creating a moment of peace in a busy day can go a long way to parenting with peace,

Confidence and joy.

Take a moment to pause now.

Find a comfortable position.

It can be standing,

Sitting or even leaning against a wall.

Close your eyes or soften your gaze,

Letting everything around you fade for a moment.

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Holding it for a count of three,

And exhale slowly through your mouth.

Feel your feet on the ground,

Solid and steady.

Let that connection remind you that you are supported right here,

Right now.

Breathe in again,

Feeling your shoulders rise and exhale,

Letting them relax.

As you continue to breathe,

Imagine any tension or worry flowing out of your body with each exhale.

See it leaving like a mist,

Disappearing into the air.

Now,

Picture a soft glowing light above you.

This light holds calm,

Patience and renewal.

With each inhale,

Let this light fill you,

Moving through your head,

Your heart and down through your entire body.

Breathe in renewal.

Breathe out overwhelm.

Silently or aloud,

Repeat the following words.

I am doing my best and that is enough.

I am strong,

I am loving and I am here.

Wriggle your fingers and toes and bring movement back into your body.

Gently bring yourself back to the present.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes.

Take this moment of calm with you,

Knowing you can return to it whenever you need.
