Hello.
This is a short and sweet little stress buster.
A lesson on how to identify,
Rate and change a stress in your life.
You didn't know it could be this easy,
But freedom is in your hands with meridian tapping right at the end of your fingertips.
So just take a deep breath in and exhale.
For a moment,
Put all your thoughts aside as you learn a new skill,
A new tool for your toolbox that you can use today for the rest of your life.
So notice a feeling,
A stress,
A picture or a sound,
Something that bothers you,
A stress that you can practice with right now.
Something easy,
Like a squeak in your car door or an uncomfortable feeling in your body.
Something easy and rate it zero,
Not at all,
Ten strong.
And make this simple stress as close to a ten for intensity as possible.
And take a deep breath and exhale.
Just be willing to play with this concept,
Identify and rate one stress that you want to change right now.
You don't even have to tell anyone about it.
Just identify it and note that number and put it aside.
Now think about something that makes you feel really peaceful and happy.
Just for a moment,
The first time you held that puppy,
Held that baby,
Saw that sunset,
Smelled that flower,
That perfume or that cologne.
When you met that person,
Find that one peaceful,
Calm memory and make it really big in your mind.
Every time you think about it,
It just makes you happy.
And take a deep breath in and exhale.
Nice job.
Now I want you to go back to that stressor that you identified and notice how strong it is.
Zero,
Not at all,
Ten strong.
And I want you to take two fingers on either hand and tap lightly between your eyes,
To the side of your eyes,
Under the eyes and at your collarbone.
Just lightly tap and then squeeze your wrist and take a deep breath in and say peace.
Done.
Boom.
Or any other word that indicates a completion for you.
For this is a round of tapping.
And now go back to your happy memory.
Hear it,
See it,
Smell it,
Feel it,
Know it for just a moment.
And another deep breath and exhale.
As you let everything go,
Notice how good it feels.
To be present and to breathe as you learn this new skill.
Go back to the one stress now and notice what it is now.
Notice that number,
Notice it decreasing.
But before we go back to it,
Imagine a bouquet of helium balloons,
Biodegradable of course.
It represents this stress.
And I want you to imagine letting go of it.
What would happen if you let go?
It floats up,
Up,
Up into the sky,
Dissolving,
Disappearing.
Gone.
And tap between your eyes and say in your head or aloud,
I release and let go.
I let go of this stress now.
Tap on the side of the eye.
I let it go.
And now under the eye,
I'm letting that stress go.
Tap on your collarbone.
It is a great day to let that stress go.
That one thing,
I'm letting it go now.
And squeeze your wrist,
Take a deep breath,
In and exhale.
Say in peace.
And now go back to that happy,
Peaceful,
Calm memory.
Drop into it as though it's happening now.
See it and hear it and feel it,
Know it with every cell of your body.
Let it fill you up.
Notice how good it is to feel good.
For no particular reason,
By the way.
You can do this anytime you want.
Think a happy thought.
Smell something that makes you feel delight.
Hear a sound.
And go back now to that stressor that used to be so high.
It was a 10 or so.
And now it's dropping,
Dropping because you're letting it go,
Dropping lower.
Maybe it wants to let go of you too.
Let it go.
And tap between your eyes again and say,
I let it go.
On the side of your eye.
I'm letting that go now.
And tap under the eye.
What a great day to let go of that stress.
Collarbone,
I'm tapping and changing my mind right now.
Squeeze your wrist.
Take a deep breath.
Feel and say peace.
And now notice all you had to do was identify it,
Rate it and change it.
Go back to the stress.
Decreasing all the way down to neutral.
Whatever's left.
Tap lightly between your eyes and say whatever's left,
I let it go.
Tap on the side of your eye.
This one thing,
I'm just going to stay focused on this one thing and let it go under the eye.
Feel your fingers tapping.
I'm changing it now.
And I didn't even know I could.
But now I do.
And I feel stronger and confident and happy.
I can change my mind.
Collarbone,
I can change this stress.
Feel your fingers tapping on your collarbone.
Take a deep breath.
Squeeze your wrist.
Exhale and say peace.
Go to your happy memory.
Calm,
Peaceful.
Fill it up.
Fill up your mind.
Fill the space where that stress used to be.
Feel it fill with that happy,
Calm,
Peaceful thought.
And hit the save button.
It's your internal computer,
Wherever it is,
Saving this relaxation.
Saving this calm and peaceful.
And squeeze your wrist again.
Take a deep breath and say peace.
Congratulations.
Identify,
Rate,
And change it with tapping.
