Please find yourself a comfortable place where you can sit or lie down now for the next 10 minutes or so.
Get into a comfortable position.
Shut your eyes.
Start to relax your body.
Take a deep breath now in through your nose.
Take a deep breath out through your nose.
Emptying your lungs completely.
Once again,
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
And then take a full,
Long,
Deep breath out.
Visualize that you're breathing in strength and calm and that you're breathing out tension.
Continue breathing this way to continue relaxing.
Taking full,
Deep breaths,
But allow your breathing to discover its own natural,
Unhurried pace.
And as ideas enter your mind,
Allow them to float away without attachment.
Now listen to the world that exists inside you.
Hear all of the chattering of your mind.
The constant talking that we do to ourselves.
See the pattern and the habits of the mind.
Planning,
Calculating,
Judging,
Worrying,
Comparing.
Note when your thoughts dwell on memories,
Reliving them over and over.
Note when your thoughts go to the future,
Attempting to control time by planning,
By hoping,
By worrying.
But let yourself let all of that thinking go.
Just release it.
Reassure yourself that even if you quit thinking about all of those things for the next 10 minutes,
Everything is going to be okay.
Give yourself permission to be here now.
You deserve this time to relax,
To regroup,
To rest.
Your breathing is flowing.
Relax your toes and your feet.
Relax your ankles,
Your shins and your knees.
Relax your leg muscles.
Your breathing is deep.
Relaxing.
Relax your fingers and your hands.
Loosen your wrists and your elbows.
Relax your arms.
Your breathing is slow and peaceful.
Feel your feet and your legs get heavy and warm.
Feel your hands and your arms get warm and heavy.
Simply breathe as your thoughts come and go,
Focusing on your breath.
Let go of all tension as your body falls into a state of peaceful quiet.
Unclench your jaw.
Relax your face.
Relax your tongue.
Your heartbeat and your breathing are serene and steady.
Your breathing is relaxed.
And just allow all your thoughts to leave your mind.
Your abdomen is soft and warm.
All of your limbs are heavy and warm.
Your hands are warm,
Your forehead is cool,
And your breathing is deep and relaxed.
Feel your breath sinking lower and lower into your lungs as your shoulders drop.
Feel your breath fill the upper part of your chest.
You are relaxed and peaceful.
You feel tranquil and relaxed.
Empty your lungs completely.
Hear the silence grow as your mind quiets,
Feeling calm and centered.
In this state of total tranquility,
Conjure the feelings of acceptance in the middle of your chest.
Know that all of your experiences in life,
The peak good experiences and the peak painful experiences are important.
When we accept the truth about our disappointments or our painful experiences,
We can relax.
We can stop running or denying the feelings.
We can choose to pivot and simply turn around and face whatever it is that we've been consciously or unconsciously avoiding.
All of your feelings,
Including sadness,
Disappointment,
Anger,
Jealousy,
Resentment,
Are all a part of you.
The more you allow them to exist and unpack them for deeper understanding of yourself,
The less fear-driven and anxious you will be.
Become the observer without judgment.
Become curious about your experiences.
How you responded,
How you reacted.
All to deepen your understanding of yourself.
Because all of your feelings matter.

This is liberation.
When there's nothing left to fear,
Nothing left to avoid,
We become so much more empowered in our lives.
