Welcome to this meditation visualization and breath experience.
I'm your host Tyrell.
And the purpose of this meditation is to prepare us for an event,
An experience,
Something on our horizon where we want to be at our very best.
And so as you settle in somewhere without distraction where you're comfortable either in a seated or laying down position,
I want you to bring to mind that experience,
That moment in the future where you hope to be at your absolute best.
I want you to just put it aside for a second.
We're gonna come back to it.
These first few moments begin to feel your breath breathing in and out.
And I'm gonna guide you through a few breaths where we take an inhale for four seconds.
We hold the breath at the top for four and we take a long flowing exhale for eight seconds.
So when you're ready you can exhale all of the air out of your lungs and inhale for one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Hold two,
Three,
Four.
And exhale three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven,
Eight.
Inhale two,
Three,
Four.
Hold two,
Three,
Four.
Long exhale three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven,
Eight.
Inhale a little bit bigger.
Hold six,
Seven,
Eight.
Two more.
Inhale two,
Three,
Four.
Hold two,
Three,
Four.
Long exhale two,
Three,
Four,
Six,
Seven,
Eight.
Last one.
Make it your biggest.
Inhale three,
Four.
Hold two,
Three,
Four.
And exhale two,
Three,
Four.
That is comfortable.
Maybe staying in your body,
Noticing where your attention and your awareness goes within your body as you settle into a breath that feels nourishing,
Restorative.
There's nowhere else you need to be except right here.
Connecting your mind,
Your heart,
Your body,
And your nervous system.
And so see with these last couple of breaths in the meditation if you can just really feel yourself anchored to the ground,
The seat beneath you,
Or the mat,
The floor you're laying on.
Bring all of your attention into your body as you continue with those nice,
Slow,
And long breaths.
Getting deeper and deeper.
And now just on the edge of your subconscious mind,
I want you to bring that moment in the future into vision,
Into your mind's eye.
I want you to start to paint the picture of where you are.
What is this moment,
This experience,
All about for you?
And I want you to imagine yourself in the lead-up to whatever that peak performance event is.
Begin to visualize yourself preparing for the event.
What are you doing?
What are the deliberate and intentional steps you're walking through to get ready?
And maybe you visualize what you look like,
How your body moves.
What does your poise and your posture look like when you are getting ready to perform at your absolute best?
Are you excited,
Energized,
Or steeled and poised?
And maybe as you visualize yourself beginning to get ready for that moment,
You can feel within your body,
Within every cell,
This synchronization into your right on the edge of excitement,
Purpose,
Passion.
And as you transition into that key event,
You start to see everything lining up exactly as it should be.
Your movements are perfect.
Your poise,
Your posture,
Your communication,
The way you interact with others,
Your ability to move seamlessly,
Fluidly,
As if you don't even need to think at all.
Bring this picture to life with as much detail and clarity as possible.
Imagine the feelings,
The sounds,
The sensations,
The smell in the air,
As you see yourself performing at your absolute best.
Play after play,
Experience after experience,
Moment after moment.
Feel that flow course through your entire body.
And then once you feel like you've captured that essence of what it's going to look and feel like for you to show up at your very best,
I want you to just let that picture go,
Maybe with a little smile,
Knowing you have done all the work to prepare your brain to be ready to perform at its best.
The last system we want to bring online is our heart.
And so I invite you to bring all of your attention and your awareness to your heart.
Maybe it starts with bringing this attention to the area of your chest.
And I want you to imagine your breath flowing in and out of your heart or your chest area.
Every inhale,
Breathing a little bit slower,
A little bit deeper.
As you're connected with your heart,
Keeping all of your attention there,
You just settle into this calm,
Easy,
Connected rhythm.
Imagine each breath flowing in and out of your heart or your chest area.
And I want you to imagine breathing in a restorative,
Replenishing feeling and attitude with each breath.
This may be calm,
It may be ease,
Peace,
Flow,
Whatever the word that represents the feeling or sensation for you.
Imagine breathing it into your heart and your chest area,
Filling up that space and anchoring it there on the exhale.
Stay connected to your heart or your chest area,
Those slow,
Deep breaths.
And then as you anchor that feeling,
Attitude,
Or emotion in your heart,
I want you to see if you can radiate it out to your entire body,
Maybe even outwards to the people in your life.
Feeling that emotion or attitude reach all the way down to your toes and your fingertips,
All the way up to your head.
You may literally feel like you are radiating that feeling.
And then you can just slowly let it go.
And we'll take one last breath together to close this meditation.
So when you're ready,
Empty all the air out of your lungs and take a nice inhale in through your nose and let it all go with the exhale.
You're welcome to start bringing a little bit of movement back to your body when you're ready,
Opening your eyes and slowly with purpose,
With intention,
Transitioning back into life,
Knowing that you're ready for that event in the future.
