Let's all find a comfortable position,
Whether you're lying on a mat or on a bed or reclining back in a chair,
And make sure to gently close your eyes.
And let's all begin by taking in a nice deep breath right in through the nose,
Holding it at the top,
And then letting it all go with a nice,
Slow exhale.
And one more here,
Breathing in through the nose,
Holding it for a moment,
And letting it all go,
Deepening your exhale on the way down.
One beautiful inhale here,
Right in through the nose and holding it.
And again,
Breathing out in a nice long exhale,
And just think about letting go and letting be.
I would love you to think about this practice as one where we want to send love to all beings everywhere,
Including ourselves.
Let us feel the love welling up inside our hearts,
And let us pray that all beings in all life everywhere be free from suffering,
From delusion,
From unhappiness,
And from anger.
And instead,
May all beings in all life everywhere be brimming and full of love,
And may they all feel loving,
Peaceful,
Compassionate,
And joyful.
No matter how dark the times may be,
Just know there is light in everything.
And imagine that you are full of love and light,
And you are sending that beautiful energy to your loved ones,
To your community,
And to everyone,
To all beings.
Also,
Just imagine that you are sending that love and that light to yourself.
Think about the beauty,
Peace,
And serenity that you find near the water or in nature,
And appreciate that beauty,
Letting it fill you,
And then transfer that joy and peace from your heart to all beings,
Knowing that we are all connected,
And we are all one.
Take in another deep breath here in through the nose,
Breathing in peace and love,
And letting go of all discontent.
Whenever you're ready,
Gently open your eyes,
Stretch,
Yawn,
And smile,
And come back to the space.
