In this Self-Esteem Boosting meditation, we'll breathe deep, relax progressively, and then settle into our inner movie theater. There, we'll see any moments where our self-esteem was hurt, feel and process and release that, and uncover our natural self-esteem. Then we'll see any ego or facade we put up to compensate and allow that to melt away, so our self-regard can become even more radiant, whole and effortless. We'll visualize taking this new energy forward with us, aligned with consistency.

Hey,

I'm Cyrus.

Welcome to this meditation to uncover your intrinsic self-esteem and self-worth,

And let go of ego.

This session will have you feeling centered and radiant in your energy,

And if you practice this regularly,

It'll realign your mind and energy to that natural self-esteem so that you can feel it consistently and effortlessly.

Start off by getting into a comfortable position,

Sitting up in a chair or laying down,

And closing your eyes.

Begin by taking a slow,

Powerful,

Deep breath in through the nose and holding at the top once you've filled your body with fresh oxygen.

As you hold,

Feel the energy in your body,

And now slowly breathe out through the mouth.

Awesome,

We're going to do that two more times.

Breathe in again,

A little bit deeper this time.

Fill up your whole body with the breath.

Hold at the top,

And feel your body,

Head to toe,

As you hold.

And now let go,

Nice and slow,

Out through the mouth.

Last one,

Deepest one.

Charge it up,

Fill it up,

Breathe deep in through the nose,

Fill up your entire body all the way down to the toes,

And feel your body,

Head to toe,

Fully present,

As you hold.

And now let go super slow out through the mouth and allow your muscles to relax and decompress a little bit more as you exhale.

And now make any final physical adjustments to your position,

And when you feel comfortable,

Commit to a consistent physical stillness in your mind,

Relaxing into that.

Start by bringing your spotlight to your tongue,

And allowing your tongue to drop to the floor of your mouth.

Allow the little muscles around your eyes to soften and relax,

And feel your jaw relaxing.

Notice this wave of relaxation moving down the neck and shoulders,

And expanding into your arms and hands as they simply relax and release.

Feel the wave traveling into your back,

Feeling the back melting into the support,

And the chest and stomach opening and expanding in a subtle,

Softening way.

Allow your pelvic floor to drop into the support underneath you,

And feel your legs and feet unclenching,

Unwinding,

And releasing any tension.

Allow a deep breath to cascade down through the entire body,

And release any remaining tension that you notice in an obvious way.

Feel your body having a smooth,

Open conversation with itself as everything opens up,

As the relaxation becomes more pronounced,

And as you start to feel the subtle,

Vibrating tingles of your life energy throughout your body,

Head to toe.

And now imagine yourself in a movie theater,

Watching yourself on a movie screen,

In black and white.

See this movie playing of you as a child.

As young a child as you were when you had a natural,

Effortless,

Good feeling.

See this young version of yourself smiling,

Playing,

Expressing yourself however you naturally did with this effortless,

Radiant,

Good feeling.

And now if it feels safe,

On the movie screen,

Start to see and be aware of any emotional wounds that you experienced that made you doubt yourself at some point in your life.

Anything that hurt your self esteem.

Maybe it doesn't feel safe to see specific things,

And you can put those aside for now,

But whatever moments or perhaps general patterns that you remember,

That you feel safe to witness in this moment on the screen,

That might have wounded your self esteem,

See the character that is you,

Experiencing it in black and white on this movie screen.

Hold space for that feeling and image of yourself without resistance,

As you witness these moments or these patterns with compassion and non-judgment.

And now any feelings that these moments might bring up in your body,

If it feels safe to feel them,

Just allow them to be felt and hold space for them as you witness them with non-judgment and non-resistance.

See how perhaps as an innocent young child or person you didn't know any better at the time but to buy into these feelings or limitations that were put on you by the outside world.

But see how it's safe to let go of them now and choose to no longer buy into them as much or maybe at all.

And if you feel safe to begin to let go of that,

Let some or all of the energy behind that hurt,

Rejection or wounds flow out of your body and evaporate.

Imagine yourself handing over these old wounds to a greater universal energy that can handle it and dissolve it for you.

Just relax and allow it to flow out and dissolve through the body.

Feel yourself healing and feel a sense of wholeness,

Lightness and radiance flowing into the space that you've opened up in your body now.

With a greater sense of centeredness,

Wholeness and lightness.

As you sit in the movie theater and see yourself on the screen,

Be aware of the ego or false sense of self or pride that you constructed to compensate for the hurt self-esteem.

See the ways in which you created this mask or this facade that you put up to protect yourself from the world,

But see how it's also separated you and blocked your effortless connection to the world.

See this without judgment and how it served a purpose for a time.

And hold a moment of non-judgmental compassion for yourself as you see the ways in which this has played out.

And if this mask,

This ego,

This false sense of self no longer serves you,

See yourself letting it go now,

Opening up to what's at the center of yourself and feel yourself softening further into that.

Knowing you'll always be able to put the mask back on when you need it,

But you can do it consciously now,

No longer mistaking it for who you are or burning your energy trying to protect it or build it up endlessly.

And as you let go,

See and feel yourself returning to a natural state of self-esteem and self-worth.

Without needing to think about it or rationalize it,

Feel your intrinsic sense of worth and unconditional lovability as a sentient being.

Don't think,

Just feel and sense it deeply as you breathe with it now.

Feel your natural innocence,

Curiosity,

And unconditional acceptance and love for yourself returning as if it had never really gone anywhere and breathe it into every cell of your body now,

Abundantly.

Feel how this energy that's returning to you is like an overflowing cup of good energy.

Since you don't need to get anything from the world to build up your ego now,

See and feel how you already feel good and this natural good feeling overflows like a full cup to everything and everyone you encounter and embrace this abundance of natural good energy.

Take a moment to affirm in your mind that it's safe and only positive to let go of ego,

That there's no downside.

Take a moment to affirm in your mind that your self-esteem and self-worth is internally given to yourself,

By yourself,

And independent of the world.

See yourself aligning to this consistently,

Not perfectly,

Going forward.

Really allow yourself to love yourself,

To do what you love,

And share that love freely and abundantly with others and the world in this state of natural,

Full,

Overflowing self-esteem.

Simmer in that energy for as long as you want and when you feel ready,

Allow your eyes to open,

Move slowly at your own pace,

And bring your full attention to one moment at a time,

Finding your rhythm in this effortless way.

Consider practicing this session regularly to really create this feeling consistently and align to this energy and mindset more and more.
