Before we begin,

Please take a minute to find a comfortable position either sitting or lying down.

Allow yourself to shift in your seat and take a few stretches if you need in order to find a settled position of ease.

Take a look at the room around you as you take one big inhale and as you exhale,

Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.

As you tune your sight inward,

Notice what is present for you in this moment and allow yourself to breathe deeply.

As you inhale,

Feel your breath extend all the way to your belly,

Allowing it to grow like a beautiful round bubble.

As you exhale,

Allow your breath to deflate your belly and let everything go.

Practice that breathing for a few more rounds on your own.

Now,

Go ahead and ease that breathing and let yourself breathe however you wish.

Allow yourself to tune into your inner wisdom and ask yourself,

How am I feeling in this moment?

Acknowledge whatever arises for you and gently let it go.

Each moment is a new beginning,

A chance to try something different.

If you are feeling depleted in this moment,

That is okay.

Perhaps you can open up to the possibility of feeling compassion in the next moment.

If your mind is feeling anxious,

Perhaps you can open up to the possibility of feeling calm in the next moment.

If your heart is feeling hurt in this moment,

Perhaps you can open up to the possibility of feeling love in the next moment.

Nothing lasts forever.

Not one feeling,

Not one thought,

Not one emotion.

So as you inhale,

Inhale whatever you are feeling in this moment.

And as you exhale,

Use your breath to expand into possibility.

Your whole life,

You have been told many messages about your body,

About how it should look,

How it should feel,

How it should move.

Perhaps you believed some of these messages.

Perhaps until this very moment,

You have felt that your body is not good enough,

Not attractive and unworthy of love.

These beliefs and these feelings are not true and they are not your destiny.

Your body is not only good enough,

It is magnificent.

It is your vessel to experience life.

It is an utter masterpiece because it contains the wonder that is you,

Your heart,

Your soul,

Your experiences,

And your memories.

Your body is innately beautiful because it is what allows you to connect with the world around you,

Hug your loved ones,

And express yourself.

Your body is inherently worthy of love because you love so deeply and are so lovable beyond what you can possibly imagine.

Even though this is what is true,

You do not need to believe these things right now.

Instead,

All you need to do is ask yourself,

Can I open up to the possibility?

Can I open up to the possibility that my body is good?

Can I open up to the possibility that my body is beautiful?

Can I open up to the possibility that my body is worthy of love?

If you feel resistance as you ask yourself these questions,

That is okay.

Breathe in the resistance and as you exhale,

Use your breath to expand into possibility.

If you choose,

You can now repeat the following affirmations after me,

Either quietly in your mind or out loud.

It is possible for me to believe that my body is good.

My body is good.

It is possible for me to believe that my body is beautiful.

My body is beautiful.

It is possible for me to believe that my body is worthy of love.

My body is worthy of love.

Remember that no moment lasts forever.

Your beliefs about your body can change so long as you are open to the possibility that they can be different.

Your relationship with your body can change so long as you are open to the possibility that it can be different.

You create your destiny in each moment,

Not just through your thoughts but through your actions.

Even if you are not feeling in love with your body today,

You can still take an action that shows your body love.

Take a moment now and ask your body,

What do you need today?

Take a moment for an answer to surface and listen closely.

Now,

To close out this meditation,

Go ahead and open your arms wide and wrap them around your body in a warm hug.

Say,

Thank you for communicating that with me body.

I will do my best to take care of you.

I love you.

Stay here for as long as you need and when you are ready,

Open your eyes.

Take any stretch you need and remember to take one action today that shows your body love.

Whether that's taking a nap,

Going for a walk,

Eating a nourishing meal,

Or something else entirely.

Over time,

These actions will help you build a more loving relationship with your body.

They will help you build self-trust and reinforce the beliefs that you are good,

Beautiful,

And worthy of love.

Come back to this meditation as often as you need.
