Hello and welcome.

I'd like to welcome you here to this time together,

To this guided meditation.

My name is Tracy McCree and today I'm going to share a little bit about my story and specifically how at one point I felt a feeling of feeling,

I'm going to say abandoned or left or I'll use the word forsaken and I'll get to what I mean in that regard but basically it was a feeling of of a block between me and all that is.

So whatever that means to you,

It could be source,

The universe,

God,

Like a specific God,

Jesus,

Whatever it may be,

Something larger than you,

Than us.

So I was feeling this feeling on my path of,

I'll say remembrance or awakening or coming back home to myself.

I,

It was like my wheels kept spinning but I was hitting a wall or what felt like a wall and it was one day in meditation,

I realized that I've been blocking myself to what I'm speaking of,

Like all that is,

Source,

The universe,

Because I felt alone in this journey.

I felt like I had been dropped here on earth,

Obviously we're born to parents or in some cases,

Well,

We're born but we might be,

You know,

Different cases,

Not have a certain family but in my case I did.

I was born into a family but I never felt like I belonged.

I felt loved but I didn't feel like I belonged and I,

As I got older and specifically at this time as I started to come into myself,

Understanding myself,

Spirituality and coming into this awakening,

I felt dropped,

Alone,

Forsaken and it made me remember back to when I studied the Bible years ago and I thought,

Wow,

I can remember even Jesus felt this way and I remembered it was,

It was when he was about to die and he said that,

My God,

My God,

Why have you forsaken me?

So I thought,

This must be a universal truth if the Son of God,

If you believe that and we don't have to believe any certain way,

I believe that,

I believe we can all have a different way to get there,

Road to get there,

So just quoting the Bible in this sense and if you don't believe in that,

You can just drop that and hold on to what resonates but I'll just talk about that and King David also within the Bible,

He said the same thing,

My God,

My God,

Why have you forsaken me?

And it was actually,

And then Jesus said the same words as he was about to die,

So I thought,

Wow,

If Jesus or these main biblical characters and,

You know,

Many people in life have felt separated,

Separate,

Alone and they felt that through the depths of human pain,

You know,

It's a universal truth within us and basically both spoke from that same place,

The wonders that if we've been left behind,

If God or source or the universe has turned away or forgotten our name.

So this is the premise of this meditation,

That premise of feeling alone or separate or forsaken or left behind.

So now I invite you to take a deep breath in and to settle in into your place of meditation,

Whether it be seated upright or if you prefer to lie down.

I invite you to get as comfortable as possible and again,

Take another slow,

Deep breath in through your nose,

Maybe a gentle sigh out.

One more like this,

Gentle breath in through your nose,

Out through your mouth.

And if you haven't already,

I invite you to gently close your eyes and just let your body begin to relax.

Let your shoulders soften,

Your jaw unclench and your heart gently open.

You are safe in this moment.

This is your time to be still,

To be present,

To remember.

And if at any point in your life,

A part of you has felt left alone or forsaken or abandoned or forgotten or unseen,

Know that you are not alone in that feeling.

Take a deep breath in and let that go as we feel even more grounded in our bodies,

Our sit bones becoming more heavier,

And now I invite you to gently bring your mind to a time in your life when you may have felt this way.

A feeling of deep sadness,

Maybe a longing,

An abandonment,

And maybe it was in childhood.

Maybe it was in a time of loss,

A time of heartbreak,

A time of neglect,

Or even silence.

See if you can sense that part of you that still carries that pain,

The part that felt small,

Alone,

Or unseen.

You don't need to fix or change anything.

Simply notice it and acknowledge it.

And now imagine yourself in a safe place.

It could be a room filled with light,

Maybe a quiet forest,

A peaceful shore by the ocean,

Or simply the stillness of your own heart.

Feel yourself surrounded by warmth and peace.

You are safe here.

Within you,

There is a light,

The light of your soul.

It is the same light that shines from the heart of Source,

Or the universe,

Or God.

The same light that holds all creation together.

And we can picture a vast star,

Or even the moon,

Or a star,

Or sun.

And you are made up of the very same thing,

Of Stardust.

Let that light rise up within you now.

And as it glows,

Bring it gently toward the part of you that has felt alone.

Hold this part with tenderness.

Whisper to it softly,

You are not forgotten.

You are not alone.

I am here with you now.

You are not forgotten.

You are not alone.

And now,

Let us bring healing through forgiveness,

Through an ancient prayer used in Hawai'i called the Hoʻoponopono prayer.

And I first want to give thanks for the use of this prayer,

And to those who have brought it to us.

Through the line within Hawai'i and the ancestors.

And I invite you to say these words slowly to yourself,

And to the Divine,

Or Source,

Or the universe,

Or God,

Whatever you may believe in.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

I love you.

I thank you.

Please forgive me.

I love you.

I thank you.

And now say these words to yourself.

Maybe to the part of you that felt alone.

Let that light within you,

The light of your soul coming down,

Meet with this little one.

I'm sorry that you ever felt forsaken or alone.

Please forgive me for not knowing.

I love you.

I thank you.

I'm sorry to this little one from the light within you.

Please forgive me.

I love you.

I thank you.

Let these words flow like gentle waves,

Washing away the separation.

The pain,

The fear.

And let these waves permeate into your heart,

Cleansing any feelings of otherness or separation.

Pain that this little one or other parts may have felt.

And fear,

Let it dissipate and be transformed and transmuted.

And now I invite you to breathe into the remembrance that you are not separate from source or the universe.

You are one with all that is.

Whether that be a God to you or source.

You are the light,

The love,

The life itself.

You are everything.

And even when we forget,

Even in our darkest hours,

That truth remains unchanged.

We are never truly alone.

And I invite you now to breathe in love and breathe out peace.

And I invite you to rest here for a few more moments in the stillness of remembrance.

And home within yourself.

And when you're ready,

I invite you to gently bring your awareness back to this moment.

And maybe put your right hand on your heart,

Your left hand on your belly.

And I invite you to feel your body,

Your breath rising.

And to carry this beautiful light with you.

The light that is always within you and with you.

Because you are all that is.

A reminder that even when we feel forsaken or left,

Or left behind,

Or lonely,

Or separate,

That we are forever one with love.

And I invite you to take one last deep breath in.

And exhale fully.

You are whole.

You are loved.

You are home.

I thank you so much for taking this time out of your day to be with me.

To be with me in your practice.

And in this journey back to remembrance.

I'm so grateful for you.

And I love you.

Because I can.

May you have a blessed,

Wonderful day full of gratitude and joy.

Namaste.
