Increasing awareness of the present moment allow you consciously and actively create your experience. This episode focuses on the inner energy: how to tap into and and raise it. It includes some practical exercises that you can use during the day.

Welcome back to Energize,

Engage,

Create.

I'm Tomek from Synergy Lab,

Sydney.

For those of you who join me for the first time,

The aim of this program is to create a new mindset.

Rewire your brain and energize your mind and body.

Every meditation is designed to shift your awareness from a compulsive thinking into the state of being which allows you to engage and create the reality.

At the start of day two,

I'd like to ask you about your experience with the mindful breaks.

How did you go?

Today,

We continue discovering and working with the vital energies.

Science shows that on the fundamental level,

Everything is energy.

Albert Einstein encapsulated this in his famous equation E equals mc2,

Where E represents energy,

M mass,

And c is the speed of light.

Energy comes in many forms,

Some of which are not fully understood.

Our physical body,

For instance,

Is energy,

But also is full of energy.

What does it mean?

On a physical level,

The body cells are made out of matter,

A dense form of energy,

Frozen light,

According to the famous theoretical physicist David Bohm.

Then there are electrical,

Magnetic,

Chemical energies,

All beautifully weaved into the fabric of our physical bodies.

Then there are subtle energies,

Recognized intuitively by ancient traditions,

But poorly understood by the modern science.

It may indeed be overwhelming to think about how much is going on under the hood of this spectacular machine,

Which is our physical body.

There are countless volumes written in order to understand how it works.

Ultimately,

It remains a mystery,

A source of awe for the scientific minds.

Today,

I invite you to take a closer look at what is going on inside of your body using a powerful tool that is always at your disposal,

Your awareness.

As with every tool,

The more you use it,

The better results you get.

Today,

You will only take the first step,

But remember,

Sky's the limit and there's no end to this discovery.

In this meditation,

You get the first hand experience of your inner body.

Some of you may already had a taste of it before.

For some,

It will be the first time.

Either way,

I ask you to approach it with curiosity and open mind of a good scientist.

A word of caution before we begin.

Many times along the way,

Your intellect will try to jump on board to analyze what you perceive.

Many thoughts may appear in the process.

Remember,

This is not an intellectual exercise.

Focus on your feelings and sensations rather than your thoughts.

I'll be there along the way to remind you of it.

Let's get started.

This meditation is designed to reconnect you with your vital energies and works the best when done in the morning.

Since it works with your inner body,

It is important that you make yourself as comfortable as possible.

You may sit with your back upright or lie down in the way that your head and neck are supported.

I'll give you a moment to find your optimal position.

The entry point for the discovery is your breath.

It allows you to move your awareness from your mind into your body,

From your thoughts to the realm of sensations.

Thoughts frequently dwell on the past or future.

Your body,

However,

Always operates in the present,

Giving you true,

Undistorted version of reality,

Deprived from ego scenarios.

I'll guide you through a series of deep,

Mindful breaths.

Remember to breathe in through your nose slowly as if you smell a flower and exhale through your mouth gently as if you try to blow a candle.

Every conscious exhale is your opportunity to relax into the present moment.

Are you ready?

In through your nose.

Hold and out through your mouth.

In.

Hold and out.

In.

Hold and out.

Breathe normally.

As your breath settles down,

Start being aware of your bodily sensations.

You may notice that the mind quickly jumps in to analyze and put labels on what's going on.

This is normal,

But not necessary at this point.

Bring the intention of this meditation to always bring yourself back to your body.

Now two parts of your body where energy can be felt the strongest are usually your hands and your feet.

First bring your awareness to your hands.

Feel your fingertips equipped with millions of sensors channeling every external sensation.

If you find it difficult to feel energy in your hands,

You may try rubbing them gently together for a few seconds.

Then try again.

Everyone perceives the energy flow in a different way.

One may feel it as tingling,

Other as hot or cold sensations.

Yet another person feels combination of both.

Take your time to explore it.

Δ tsp Stay with the sensations.

Every time your intellect jumps in,

Simply acknowledge it.

No,

This is normal,

Habitual response of your mind.

Shift your attention back to your hands and allow the intellect to run in the background.

Do this shift as often as you need.

Now that you have tested the works of the inner energy of your body,

Move your awareness to your feet.

Does the energy feel the same?

Different?

What's the intensity of it?

Again,

Allow yourself a moment or two to explore.

Do this shift as often as you need.

Do this shift as often as you need.

I am here with you at all times to bring you back if your mind takes over.

Do this shift as often as you need.

Now,

Move to your abdomen,

Another strong source of the inner energy.

Focus on this space under the navel.

This energy may feel different,

For some even uncomfortable.

Sometimes awareness activates the cellular memory and some emotions from the past may resurface.

I'd like you to feel it as well,

Without judgement,

Bringing intense awareness to everything that comes up.

Just relax.

Do not get discouraged if you don't feel anything at first.

It's only matter of time before the vital energy that is always there presents itself to you.

Move to the middle of your chest,

The central point of the thorodiole field that surrounds your entire body.

That is the source of your strength and it's worth to rest your awareness there for a moment.

As your focus deepens,

You may detect your heartbeat sending pressure waves across to all parts of your body.

Rest your awareness there and feel the energy growing.

Connect with this energy.

Feel how it fluctuates,

Changes.

You set the limit,

How intense it gets.

Feel miss that cool feeling after that.

Finally,

Expand your awareness to include your entire body.

Recognize that all of it is filled with energy.

All of it is energy.

Take a moment to explore it freely.

Now,

Begin the return.

First,

Recognize the surroundings.

The sounds.

The smells.

Perhaps air movement on your skin.

Then add some movement.

Wiggle your toes.

Slowly move your fingers.

Tilt your head gently to the left.

To the right.

Take a deep breath.

In.

Hold.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes and welcome back.

Congratulations,

Meditation is now complete.

How do you feel?

Now,

The formal part is over and it's time to enjoy the fruits of the practice.

To do so,

I invite you to pay attention to your thoughts and feelings throughout the day.

I prepared for you another exercise that builds on the mindful break from the day one.

Once again,

Set up timer in your phone for two hours from now.

When the alarm rings,

Stop and bring your attention to your body.

Notice in which part of your body there is an accumulation of energy.

Simply feel it.

Don't think about it.

Does it resemble in any shape or form the energy you felt during the meditation you just finished?

Getting in touch with the energies of your body is a very effective method that brings you to the present moment.

Which ultimately is the point of every meditation.

The more you practice,

The more powerful the effect and the less time it takes to perform it.

When you finished,

Set up your timer again.

Repeat the mindful break two or three times throughout the day.

I hope you enjoy it.

Once again,

Before the day ends,

I invite you to make a note in your diary or in a piece of paper about how today was different in a positive way.

Write two or three bullet points and read them when you wake up.

Really enjoying this course, thank you Tomek. It is challenging as someone with ME. Energy is a big issue with me and I have to be really careful not to over exert. So I am hoping that if I can access my body’s natural energy then I will avoid triggering adrenaline. How do I access days 6-10?
