Christmas Meditation for Busy Women.

It's so easy to get caught up in the busyness,

Feeling overwhelmed,

Too much to do,

And not a time for yourself.

For you to enjoy,

Not only the lead up to Christmas,

But the actual day.

I look forward to taking you through seven ways on how you can support yourself.

They're easy and simple to bring into your daily life.

You may wish to do one,

Or you may wish to do all.

So taking a moment to settle,

Enjoying this time you're spending on yourself.

Taking a deep breath in,

Sighing as you exhale,

And feeling yourself release.

Knowing for the next few moments there's nowhere to go,

Nowhere to be,

And no demands being put on you.

With each breath out,

Allowing your body to relax.

Release.

Just allowing the tension to subside.

Feeling your body softening,

Opening,

And slowing down.

As I now take you into the first way you can support yourself.

I want you to visualize yourself taking five minutes each day for yourself.

And here,

All you need to do is just pause and take a couple of deep breaths.

As you do this,

Visualize how it's going to make you feel.

It's going to bring you back into the moment.

As you pause and breathe.

The next thing you can do is make sure you have a glass of water at hand at all times.

So now just visualize using your favorite glass,

Having a jug.

Because what this helps is keeping your body nicely hydrated and support you with those fine lines.

Those lines that we wish we didn't have.

The third one is make sure you have quiet time to re-energize.

Find a sanctuary somewhere in your home.

Or even in the garden.

We can put up do not enter sign or do not disturb.

And just sit down.

It might be with some gentle music.

Might be with your favorite hot drink.

Just enjoying the peace and quiet in amongst all the busyness and chaos.

Another one is give your energy an extra boost.

Do some form of exercise or movement.

Walking,

Running,

Yoga,

Stretching,

Swimming,

Whatever it might be for you.

And this is a great time to dance to your favorite Christmas carols.

Put them on and just enjoy dancing like no one is watching,

Feeling yourself.

Release tension,

Relax.

Feel alive.

At night time,

Remove your makeup.

Just take a moment now to see yourself walking into your bathroom.

You might even like to light a candle.

Enjoying removing your makeup with your favorite cleanser.

Inhaling the aroma.

Massaging your face.

Easing the tension.

Splashing your face with beautiful warm water.

And sighing as you do so.

Feeling totally relaxed.

Enjoying using essential oils to get you into the mood.

To help you have a radiant Christmas,

Use orange,

Cinnamon and clove.

As these are uplifting and happy oils.

Put up one of your favorite Christmas decorations,

One that you love.

It could be handmade or bought from somewhere special.

Something you can look at that makes you smile.

When all you want to do is pull your hair out.

Just for a moment,

Get a feel.

What color is it?

What texture?

How does it make you feel?

Notice it quietly for a few moments.

So you can just take the time to feel which one would support you.

Which one would help you create the day,

The time that you want.

To enjoy Christmas with your family.

When you're ready now,

Just taking a lovely deep breath in.

Getting a sense of how you're feeling.

Gently open your eyes,

Just have a look around your room.

Bringing yourself into the moment.

As you get ready to step back into your day.

And the days leading up to Christmas.

Thank you for being here with me.

I trust and hope you'll be able to bring one of these into your life.

Enjoy.

Namaste.
