Welcome to your meditation for burnout and overwhelm.

Very very common to feel this way and it's only when we begin to slow down and realize that we're feeling this way that we can start to change the tide of how we want our future to look.

Start to take a deep full breath in and exhale sigh it all out,

Releasing any pent-up frustration or pent-up energy stored within you.

It may feel as if everything is jumping around in your mind right now,

Darting from place to place,

Moment to moment,

Thought to thought,

A million things to do,

Tasks to complete,

Too little time.

Maybe the weight of the world is resting on your shoulders,

Maybe the weight of thought is heavy in your head.

Let this be your time to ease,

To release a little bit of weight off your shoulders,

A little bit of weight off your mind.

Meditation is a time for self-reflection,

To notice what comes up in the moments of silence,

Not necessarily to clear our minds and make them empty,

But to draw the lines and establish new connections and realizations that help you move forward in a better direction,

A direction that is more steady,

More streamlined and more supportive for our overall well-being.

Though your thoughts may not be where you want them to be or maybe your body isn't feeling very restful,

I encourage you to find some stillness by focusing on one point,

By focusing on one thing,

Whether it be gazing at one point in front of you or focusing on the inhale and exhale of your breath.

Allow yourself to solidify this one pointed focus.

I know there may be a million things to do,

Places to be,

But we know that too much movement and too much doing is a recipe for burnout and overwhelm.

We are all worthy of rest,

We are all worthy of slowing down in our modern-day societies.

Rest doesn't make us lazy,

It makes us human.

Rest is the very thing that will allow us to keep on going with this sustainability and with this momentum that we have.

We need to tune back before we can go forward.

The next few moments are for you to bask in this feeling of serenity,

In this feeling of stillness and focus.

When we bring our attention to one point of focus,

That's when we can find this sense of stillness and unwavering steadiness.

As you bring movement into your body,

Starting to tune back into your environment,

Notice the sounds,

The sights,

The feels.

Notice the energy around you and in you.

Allow yourself to be with this energy for as long as you need,

But when you are ready,

Feel free to slowly tune back into your environment and know that you can carry on with this feeling whenever you feel burnout,

Whenever you feel overwhelmed,

Creeping in.
