Our inner and outer realities are always speaking to us. The body and spirit hold so much wisdom and information for us to navigate our path and ourselves. This practice takes us through the communication of the body to reveal the conversation that is always present.

All right so finding your comfortable seat or laying position however you'd like to sit with your practice today.

Letting the eyes come down to a close so right away here we're just gonna arrive exactly as we are knowing that how we are today and even in this moment can change instantaneously.

How we are right now does not define us in any way it's just is what it is.

It is our state of being.

We are here in our practice today not necessarily to make our state of being good or bad rather just to see where we are.

You may even realize that the witnessing itself sometimes offers that reconnection to your own experience your reality however that's looking today however it's feeling whatever experience is here.

You can imagine like the forces of the universe or your angels just placing a warm blanket on your shoulders just to say that you are totally safe,

That you are supported,

That you are never alone,

That you have this really beautiful permission right here and now to be where you are and feel what you feel and trust your experiences.

So you can imagine under that warm blanket you feel yourself just kind of relaxing in scanning the physical body for any tension or effort or anything that keeps you away from yourself.

Can you just let the warmth of your own presence and of this beautiful moment right here just soften any stress,

Any tension,

Any tightness in your physical experience from the top of your head,

Tips of your toes.

As you scan you may find various parts of the body where you are holding tension or maybe clenching or feel a little tight and instead of being hard on yourself or thinking this is bad in any way,

Let's allow the awareness itself to be a warm blanket that loving caring essence.

Just look within ourselves to remind ourselves that all is well and we are okay exactly as we are.

And so as we scan and as we receive these spaces and places in our bodies that may hold tension or stress and begin to see it just as communication,

Noticing where in the body we hold tightness and might that be informing us of.

We know that the various regions of the body are key to understanding the communication and the information that the body provides.

So if we hold tension in our heart space we can ask ourselves where are we keeping ourself from love and the love that's here now within us,

Always around us.

Or if we hold tension or tightness or discomfort in the belly,

Instead of avoiding we can just meet it with that grace,

That compassion.

The region of the belly often represents our relationship to ourselves,

The seat of the self.

And so here too we can just ask our body what are you informing me?

What are you revealing to me about myself?

We know that the body will use discomfort as a tool to sharpen us,

To make sure we see something clearly,

That we receive any particular communication.

And so let us meet all of the information of our physical reality with that grace and compassion,

That understanding that our bodies are never punishing us.

They're simply informing us that it is through any discomfort or any other various reactions or responses of the physical body that we travel through the layers of ourselves.

So we can continue just becoming aware without it being good or bad,

No punishment,

All just information.

The body will reveal to us no matter how many times it needs to,

Until we get the clarity that we need,

Until we hear the message,

Until we release what needs to be released to make space for more of ourselves.

The inner world is no different.

Emotions that pass through our experience,

The energy that comes and goes,

Is all that beautiful communication of the spirit,

The inner space,

The inner being,

Revealing us to ourselves.

None of it is defining of who we are in any way.

Simply information,

Temporary visitor on our path,

Showing us the way back to ourselves.

So the key then is not to be defined by it.

It is also not to escape from.

It's to give that very kind and compassionate permission for all of our temporary experiences to exist,

Knowing that they will come and they will go.

They come and they go.

And what remains is who we really are.

The awareness itself,

The one who can receive the information,

The communication of the body in the inner space,

The aspect of us that is beyond definition,

The ultimate I am.

And so we welcome from that space the lessons,

The teachings,

The body,

The inner world,

The beautiful mirrors that they hold up for us to see ourselves a little better.

We allow ourselves the permission to move through all things with grace,

Letting it all be okay.

Temporary moments of discomfort will absolutely come.

They will also go.

Joy,

Love,

They too will come.

In moments they also will go.

The beautiful thing about being human is that we get to experience all of it in temporary form,

Physical and in energy and in spirit.

Our only work is just to receive the communications of the body and of the inner world.

Let the teachings reveal ourselves back to us,

No matter what we experience.

We can ask ourselves,

What is this experience showing me?

What is the underlying message of this communication?

How is this temporary experience a mirror for me to see myself a little better?

And then we put down the thinking mind and we just receive communication of the body,

Communication of the spirit,

Remembering that there is a conversation happening at all times between the I am and this human self.

The only purpose of that conversation is to help us evolve and help us reclaim our power,

To help us remember who we are.

So through all of it,

We can remain in that state of receiving,

Kind understanding.

The conversation does not define us.

The information of the body and our experiences,

They do not define us.

We are defined only by the undefinable and everything else is just a temporary visitor on that path.

A tool to sharpen ourselves,

A mirror to see ourselves a little clearer,

And an arrow pointing us back to who we actually are,

Which is so much more than any temporary experience,

So much more than what the mind can even conceive.

We contain within us the highest powers and forces of the universe.

We have the power to use that for our greatest good and for the greatest good of all people everywhere.

First we must go through ourselves,

The temporary experiences,

Communication of the body,

The information of the spirit.

So here and into ourselves we can just breathe,

Breath as the vehicle into ourselves,

Breath as the bridge from the ultimate undefinable I am into this human experience,

Breath as the reminder that all things come and all things go,

That change is who we are,

Change is the promise of life itself.

And so let us gather all of the information we possibly can through our inner and outer worlds so that we can align with the highest forms of change and we can remember who we are.

You're welcome to stay just as you are and if you feel complete with your practice you can use the breath to slowly gently reawaken the body,

The energy,

The spirit.

You can bring gentle movement back into your body,

There's no rush here at all.
