Hey there,
Welcome to today's meditation.
You can do this meditation either seated or laying down,
So get comfortable,
Get cozy,
Pick your posture of choice.
You know,
Something that we have in common is we operate much better when our minds are clear.
So today I'd like to focus on clarity and just replacing any confusion with clarity,
Giving our minds and bodies an opportunity to slow down.
If you aren't already,
Close down your eyes,
Deepen your breath,
Simply become more present with your breath.
The more you focus on your breath,
The less you will be focusing on anything else.
So breathing is a lovely way to just separate your time here from anything else that's gone on before this meditation or anything you have going on after this meditation.
Make your breath a little bit deeper.
Notice if you can take up more time with your next cycle of breath and fill more space with your next cycle of breath.
Ask yourself if there are two places physically that you can let go of tension.
It's important to check in because sometimes we don't realize we're holding someplace tight.
It can be a little subconscious,
Just holding tension within our shoulders or jaw.
So a meditation is a great place to relax and let go of that.
I'd like you to identify two or three emotions that you have been experiencing lately.
Those can be feelings of joy or gratitude or feelings of sadness or uncertainty.
Without judgment,
Just meet yourself exactly as you are.
Good,
Good job.
I know that's not always easy but that's a very important part of the process of mindfulness.
Now revisit your breath.
Focus on your breath so much that you are focusing on nothing else.
Let your mind feel engaged with your breath.
Observe the way your breath creates movement.
Observe the way your breath creates sound.
Bring a little pause in between your inhales and exhales.
May clarity replace confusion.
May your worries become less.
May ease replace stress.
Take a deep breath.
May clarity replace confusion.
May your worries become less.
May ease replace stress.
Take a deep breath.
May clarity replace confusion.
May your worries become less.
May ease replace stress.
Observe your body.
Notice if any tension crept in and if so revisit that space of releasing and relaxing.
Give yourself a compliment.
You're doing better than you think you are.
We can be our own worst critics.
Have a beautiful day.
Namaste.
