Tranquility. We are all looking for peace and a level of calmness. We cannot always get outside to walk amongst trees, near a river away from daily noise like traffic. And so coming to a guided meditation and finding the meditation taking you on a journey is powerful and able to instill a sense of peace, tranquility, and healing. This is what allows us to feel connected to our every day and be in the present moment.

Hello everyone,

Glad you're here.

So today I wanted to do a meditation,

Centring on peace,

Tranquility and healing.

So as we begin,

Just find yourself in a comfortable seat,

Position,

And feel as good.

Just be in stillness for a few minutes as I guide you through a short meditation.

So let's begin.

And as you begin to inhale,

Exhale,

Become aware of your breath.

And with each breath,

Your body feels.

Feel the breath as it enters with a cool feeling,

And then warming as it gently travels down into your lungs.

As you inhale,

You're drawing in energy,

Vitality,

And prana,

The life force.

As you exhale,

Your body relaxes,

You're releasing stress,

Anxiety,

And negativity.

Stay with your breath,

Focusing on the feeling of deep peace and healing energy.

Feel this energy flowing from the crown of your head,

All the way to your toes.

Feel the warmth and tingling of every cell.

Take this energy into your surroundings and let it be absorbed into every living thing.

Feel all the energy as one,

Visualize this energy shining brightly,

As bright as the sun.

Feel it traveling from the crown of your head.

Feel the healing energy and light within you.

Let the energy bring peace and healing to any emotional issues.

To stay in the present moment and to stay here.

You may want to recite a mantra.

You may repeat to yourself,

I am becoming calm and relaxed.

Or you may just repeat.

Let the mantra feel warm and relaxing within you.

Your breath is deep and smooth.

Connect with your five senses.

The scent,

The sight,

The hearing,

The touch,

And taste.

You see yourself in a silent redwood grove.

It is cool under the shade of the branches and the leaves.

The trees towering above you.

You're protected in that mammoth embrace.

You can smell the earth as you see moss covered branches scattered on the ground in front of you.

You walk feeling grounded and connected to the earth,

To nature.

You can hear birds in the distance and see glimpses of blue sky through the canopy when you look up to take a deep breath in.

You hear the gentle trickling of water as you near a slowly swaying bridge.

You step on the plank wooden bridge watching a babbling brook flowing beneath.

The water flows.

You see rocks of all sizes as the water seeps in between and over the rocks.

The rocks are grounded.

The sound of the brook is calming and you feel that peace,

Focusing on this moment in time and letting the brook flow past underneath the bridge.

You continue to the end of the bridge feeling the sway of the bridge with each step you take.

It is smoothing and rhythmic just like your breath and movement.

You step off the bridge and continue deep into the grove.

You stop to wrap your arms around one of the redwood trees.

You feel its energy and wonder,

The quietness of the grove and how it must have changed if at all from years past.

You are at one with nature.

You continue walking.

You see the light getting brighter as you emerge from the redwood grove.

You look up to the sky and feel the balls of the sun.

You are grounded.

You feel warm and relaxed.

You're calm and peaceful.

You become aware of your breath and feel the breath as it enters and as you gently exhale.

You let your energy be shared.

Your vitality.

You stay with your breath,

Feeling a deep sense of peace,

Feeling a deep sense of this moment right here,

Right now.

You take a few breaths as you begin to gently open your eyes and become aware of your surroundings.

To take you into your day,

Into the next hour,

Into the evening.

Namaste.

So you
