Allow yourself to begin to get as comfortable as possible.

Make sure the temperature of the room is just right.

There's no distracting lights or sounds.

And if that's out of your control,

Just continue to pay attention to my voice.

Take a deep breath in and let it all go.

And again,

Fill the belly,

Fill the lungs.

Sigh it all out.

Not just your breath,

But all of your worries as well.

Feel free to take a cleansing breath whenever you feel the need.

And once you feel like you're as comfortable as you can be,

Just focus on your breath.

Feel your natural inhales and exhales.

Breathing in all the rejuvenation and exhaling all that needs to leave.

Give yourself permission to relax and restore deeply.

Feel the body start to sink into the support.

Into the support underneath you and around you.

A little more with every breath that you take.

Allow the head to get a bit heavier.

Imagine little blankets over your eyes.

Relax the tongue from the roof of the mouth.

Release any tension from your jaw.

Feeling the softness and this release move all the way through your body.

The neck relaxes.

The shoulders soften.

Your arms are relaxed all the way to the tips of your fingers.

You may notice the natural rise and fall of your torso with your breath.

But you continue to let the body sink deeper and deeper into relaxation.

Noticing the softness all the way to the tips of your toes.

And as you continue to relax your body,

Your mind relaxes a bit more.

Any thoughts that might pop up,

Just let them go.

Keep reminding yourself that you're preparing for a nice restful sleep.

A restorative sleep.

Creating this balance for your body and your mind at a cellular level.

Sleep is not something we choose to do.

It's something that we have to do.

So remind yourself again.

And give permission to yourself again.

That you are going to have a deep,

Relaxing,

Restful sleep.

Feel the gentleness of your breath.

The security and the comfort of your bed.

Maybe imagining yourself floating on a cloud.

And as you move deeper and deeper towards your sleep state,

Imagine that your body now is becoming part of the cloud.

And the cloud is becoming part of your body.

You feel this beautiful balance in body and in mind.

Your dreams will be pleasant.

And you will awake feeling your best physically,

Mentally,

And emotionally.

You deserve to sleep well.

You deserve to feel your best.

You deserve to be at complete peace.

Let your body and your mind sink even deeper than you could possibly imagine.

Not a care in the world,

Except a good night's rest.

Drift deeper and deeper to sleep.

Become deeper and deeper at peace.

Deeper at peace.
