Gently finding a comfortable place to rest.

Lying the body down or staying seated.

Either way making sure you feel supported here.

And as you start to get comfortable in this position,

Gently close the eyes and start to allow your body to relax.

Be patient with the body here.

As you start to rest in your comfortable position,

Be mindful of the breath and encourage quite a natural soft comfortable breath.

Inhaling and exhaling.

Use this breath as your anchor if you feel lost or distracted.

Decide to come back to your breath and listen.

And as the body starts to feel more comfortable here,

Decide to start softening through the muscles,

Softening through the joints and softening your physical body from toes to forehead.

And we'll let ourselves just sink into this moment.

And as we soften through the face muscles letting go of tension across the forehead.

As we soften down through the neck and across the shoulders,

Letting go of tension we insist on piling in this area.

Soften down through the arms all the way to the fingertips.

Let the arms feel heavy beside you.

Soften across the chest into the belly.

Maybe connecting with the soft rise and fall of the breath here.

Softening through the hips and down the legs into the ankles and the feet.

And as you soften the body here,

Imagine with each exhale breath you can let go of more stress,

Of tension and of anything negative you're carrying with you.

Today.

Starting to utilise the breath as a way of letting go what no longer serves us.

And as we soften and let go,

We're able to feel light and more free and we're able to relax.

Relaxing the body,

Releasing the body.

Tuning into softness.

And as you continue to keep the breath slow and soft,

Decide to listen to a few of your breaths here.

Notice how this soft slow breath is making you feel.

Notice how with every exhale breath,

With every letting go of what you don't need,

How light and free this makes you feel.

Start to enjoy letting go.

Inhaling and exhaling.

Relaxing the body from toes to forehead and asking for a deeper softness.

And with this softness comes warmth and comfort.

Start to feel this warmth on the face muscles.

Start to feel this warmth swirl around your joints,

Feel your muscles.

Feel supported and comfortable in this warm space.

A soft warm glow surrounds the body.

Visualise this soft warm light that surrounds you with every inhale,

This light expands.

With every exhale,

This light shines brighter.

Stay in this warm light space.

Continuing to tune into that softness in the body.

Continuing to use each one of your exhale breaths to let go of anything that no longer serves you.

Enjoying any sensations.

Honouring and acknowledging how the body feels in these moments.

And being mindful that you can come back here whenever you need.

Starting to tune back into your breath as you take a few longer inhales,

A few longer exhales.

Using these moments to let go.

And as you tune back into the breath,

Scan through the body,

Checking in with what feels good,

What feels comfortable,

What feels strong,

What feels good.

Take that scan through the body slowly and softly as you start to build your awareness.

Scanning from the toes up the legs,

Scanning from the fingertips up the arms,

Into the chest and the head.

And as you slowly build on that awareness,

As you slowly build on your breath,

Maybe choosing to take a big sigh out through the mouth now.

Gently find some mindful movement through your fingertips and through your toes.

Feel comforted by this movement.

Tap into the warmth and the light this movement brings.

Stay soft in the body and remind yourself to come back here when you need.

Inhaling and exhaling.
