Whether you're recovering from a common cold or flu,
Or you're suffering through chronic health conditions,
Or you've been diagnosed with an illness,
You can use these to affirm your health and your healing.
Positive affirmations have many proven benefits,
Including helping to rewire your brain,
Reduce stress,
Improve mental well-being,
Plus so much more.
While you can't always control what happens to you,
You can control how you respond.
Use these affirmations as many times a day as you'd like to help move your body into the healing state of the parasympathetic.
They will also help to bring you out of a victim mindset and help you to respond to your situation in a positive way,
Even when it feels impossible to be positive.
Give yourself the next few minutes to get into a comfortable position.
You might choose to listen to this recording while laying comfortably on your back or sitting in a comfortable seated position.
Be sure to turn off the notifications on your phone and let anyone in your home know that you don't want to be interrupted for the next 10 or 15 minutes.
When you're ready,
Close down your eyes and begin to deepen your breath.
On your next inhale,
Allow a physiological sigh,
Which helps to bring your body into a peaceful state.
Bring a quick inhale through your nose,
Followed by a longer inhale to fully expand your lungs.
Then release through a slightly opened mouth.
Let's do two more,
And one more just because it feels so good.
Let your body fall into its natural breathing pattern now.
As you listen to the following affirmations,
You might silently repeat each one to yourself two or three times.

Ever so gently open your eyes and allow a stretch.
