I understand that we are dealing with challenging times. My hope is that we can look back at this time in the future and remember how we got through it. But right now, I believe we have to take each day as it comes. As we face whatever the day brings, let us step forward graciously. Take a deep breath, look out at this beautiful Earth and be present.

Namaste,

Good morning and welcome.

My name is Samantha from Zayoga.

Coming into a comfortable seat,

Then again that comfortable seat might be sitting in a chair or lying down.

Just try to make sure you stay awake and that your spine is nice and long.

If you have a chance before to stretch the body out a little bit,

That would be good as well.

So let's begin.

Going to close our eyes.

Take a nice deep breath in.

And exhale it out.

Again inhaling deeply.

And exhaling out completely.

Soften.

So these breaths,

These inhales and exhales,

Is allowing us the opportunity to just soften in the body.

Softening in the body allows us to soften in the mind so that we're not wrapped up in our thoughts,

Or even if it's for a second.

The breath allows us to come into the present moment.

And if you have the opportunity to get up in the morning and just start with this practice before your coffee,

Before anything else,

To get up and allow yourself this moment to stretch and settle in.

Become aware of the right now.

And right now,

Maybe your life is very uncertain.

Maybe the future does not look as bright as you would like it to.

But you have to show gratitude for what you have.

And if you're able to come into this seat and close your eyes and take a deep breath and relax into it,

Then you have your health.

And with your health,

Which is this body,

You're able to create and do what your desires are.

So this body is our vehicle.

Our mind helps us to create,

But it also can get us wrapped up in ideas that does not serve us.

So if your body,

If you want your body to react the way you would like it to,

Take some time.

Take some time to physically move the body.

Take some time to be in this position where you sit and you quiet the body.

Many of us have anxiety,

Depression,

And lots of aches and pains and stiffness in the body.

You have to first allow the emotions to release out of the body so that it's not emotions of negativity.

So the body is releasing fears,

Anger,

And then allowing the mind to release that as well.

Let us show gratitude for the health that we have because in one moment it could all disappear.

So allow yourself to come into the seat,

Allow yourself to breathe in and breathe out and find the certainty of who you are.

Search within yourself to open up to who you are.

And yes,

The world will be uncertain and tomorrow we're not sure what will happen,

But you can ensure what happens within you.

And sometimes it's a struggle,

Some days it's not as easy to get up and even come and sit here.

But every day you get up and you try.

You get up and you try your best to be the best you can be.

Some days it might be less than 50%,

Other days it might be 100%.

Allow yourself the ability,

Allow yourself the chance.

All you need to do is take one breath at a time.

All you need to do is be present for that moment.

And allow your mind not to go to a place of fear,

Of worries,

Of anxiety.

Allow your mind the opportunity to go to a place of joy,

Of truth,

Of possibilities.

Because the moment you took your first breath,

You opened up your world to possibilities.

And life is about the possibility to live.

And there's always a chance that things don't work out the way you expected.

Your life is unexpected.

So what we have to do is get up every morning,

Take a deep breath,

Exhale it out,

And be in that moment.

Trying to find solutions,

Trying to live our lives,

But one foot at a time,

One breath at a time,

And with an open mind.

So don't allow your mind to fall into the uncertainties.

Because if we live in uncertainty,

In the idea of uncertainties,

Then we not live in it all.

Because you don't know what tomorrow will bring you.

So allow yourself to just live for today.

Your ideas,

Your goals,

Your desires,

That will not leave you.

Keep that in your heart and your mind,

And move forward in the present with certainty,

With certainty of how you want to live.

And I don't know anyone who wants to live their life angry,

In pain,

Depressed,

Sad,

With anxiety.

I don't think anyone really wants to live their life that way.

So you have a choice.

Get up this morning,

Allow yourself to find your breath,

In the awareness of your breath,

Soften the body,

Take a moment to set your intentions for the day,

And live.

Live with the certainty and the gratitude that you have your breath,

You can move,

You can be in this world 100%,

Even if there's a little aches and pains.

So I invite you to stay here a little longer,

In silence if you like.

It's Friday.

That automatically brings joy into your heart,

Some of you.

Take the time.

But for now,

I will close with Namaste.
