So welcome everyone to this guided meditation.

So today we will embark on a journey to connect with our younger selves or with our inner child.

This journey is designed to take you into a deep state of relaxation where you can safely access some memories and emotions from your early years.

By revisiting these parts of us,

We can shine a light on some subconscious patterns,

Unprocessed emotions that we may have from back then and then start the process of healing and releasing them.

Many of our present challenges,

Emotional patterns,

Limiting beliefs often come from our experiences,

Our conditioning when we were younger and often these wounds of our inner child can manifest as fears,

Doubts or feelings of inadequacy in our adult lives.

By safely and gently connecting with these parts within ourselves,

We can nurture,

Comfort,

Free and release what no longer serves us,

Creating a space for deeper love and compassion.

So in this journey today,

We will first relax deeply.

We may use visualization to see what shows up when we go back to our younger self.

Just allow whatever is coming up for you without judgment.

And throughout this journey,

We will have the opportunity to listen,

Speak,

Rewire and offer healing to those younger parts in us.

So we begin just simply by finding a comfortable position,

Either sitting up,

Lying down or if there's another position that you feel comfortable in,

Just find that for yourself.

If your body allows right now,

You can very gently close your eyes.

Let's start by taking a few deep breaths.

So we'll inhale slowly all the way down to your heart,

To your stomach and then exhale slowly through your mouth.

So we'll continue to do this.

Inhale through the nose all the way down and then you exhale through your mouth,

Completely letting go.

As we take these breaths,

The body starts to relax.

Every breath in,

The body starts to relax.

My awareness is at my breath now,

Noticing each inhale and exhale.

Breathing in deeply,

Allowing my stomach,

My abdomen to rise and breathing out,

Letting go of any tension.

With each breath,

My body now starts to become heavy and relaxed.

Heavier and more relaxed.

Heavier and more relaxed.

Now,

I'll imagine that there is a warm,

Soothing light at the top of your head.

Now,

Maybe this light is a color,

Maybe it's an awareness,

Maybe it's just a feeling.

I now allow this relaxing,

Warm light to wash over me,

To enter my body from the top of my head,

All the way down to the tip of my toes.

Top of my head to the tip of my toes.

Now,

Letting go of any thoughts,

Worries,

Concerns,

Just for the next few minutes.

Letting the conscious mind be,

Disengaging,

Letting all the thoughts drift away like clouds passing in the sky.

Wherever you are right now,

There is nothing that you need to do,

Nowhere that you need to be.

Just be here,

Be now,

Be here,

Be now,

Be here,

Be now.

Now,

Feeling heavy,

Feeling calm,

Feeling relaxed,

Let's begin now to gently scan the body for any areas of tension or tightness.

We start with the top of the head,

Then moving down,

Relaxing my forehead,

Moving down,

Relaxing my eyes,

Moving down,

Relaxing my jaw,

Moving down to my neck,

Moving down to my shoulders,

Letting them soften,

Letting them release.

Going down my arms,

My chest,

My abdomen and my legs,

All the way to my feet and as I exhale now,

Any last bit of remaining tension also starts to move,

Also starts to melt away.

Feeling fully,

Completely relaxed.

Now,

From this state,

I want you to imagine,

Visualize,

See or sense that you are in a beautiful,

Safe space.

Maybe it's a garden,

Maybe it's a room or maybe it's another place in nature that's coming up for you.

Absolutely anything that shows up for you is the right thing for you.

We are only using intention,

So you cannot get this process wrong.

You in your safe space now,

This garden,

This room,

This beach,

Wherever you are,

Just take a moment now to notice the details around you,

Feeling a sense of peace,

Feeling a sense of safety.

I feel safe in my body,

I feel calm in my body,

I feel ready in my body for this journey.

I am being guided to do this today and whatever shows up is safe for me to process,

For me to process,

To look at,

To unpack,

To heal.

Now,

In this beautiful safe space,

Wherever your body is,

Wherever your mind is,

I'll ask you now to bring up an image of yourself as a child.

And whatever shows up for you is exactly what needs to come up.

Imagine yourself as a child.

Could be any age,

You may see yourself clearly or you may just sense a presence or you may just intuitively know.

Whatever comes up,

Trust.

In this beautiful safe space that I'm in,

I've just brought up the vision,

The energy,

The sensation of myself as a child.

Whatever part of my childhood wants to work with me today will show up.

And as we settle and see and sense and feel this energy of my inner child,

See them now walking towards you.

I'm in my safe space,

I'm in my garden and I now see the representation of my inner child and I now see the representation of my inner child walking towards me.

Just take a bit of time to notice how they look,

How they walk,

Their expressions,

Their body language,

Their energy.

Just observe.

As my inner child walks towards me and I also approach my inner child,

I'm noticing what do I see in this child.

Now as I take another step closer,

I may want to kneel down to them.

I'm now kneeling down and watching my inner child.

The part of me that has shown up today,

I'm watching them now.

Now in your own words,

I want you to greet your inner child.

I want you to greet your inner child with love,

Acceptance and compassion.

Just let them know that you're here for them.

And all you want to do today is to connect and listen.

Now if you notice any resistance in the body,

Just take time,

Allow that to pass first.

I'm now,

I have now opened this door to work with my inner child.

And I just wait and see what shows up now.

And I just wait and see what shows up now.

Now I'll imagine,

I'll visualize,

I'll sense if my body agrees with this,

That I take my inner child's hand now and we start to walk together.

I'm now walking together with my inner child in this exploration.

Now,

As me and my inner child have taken a few steps,

I may start to see this,

This house in front of me.

It may be my child at home.

It may be another place that I'm not familiar with.

That I'm familiar with.

My inner child has led me,

Guided me to this house that looks familiar to me.

Take a moment now to watch the space that you're being shown.

Now maybe this house represents the different rooms of my memories,

Of my emotions.

And if there is anything that I need to look at,

Process,

Or heal,

I may find it behind these doors.

So as I walk into this house,

Walk,

Walk,

Walk,

Walk,

Walk into this house,

Walk,

Walk,

Walk,

Walk,

Walk into this house,

What feelings arise as I'm stepping inside?

What am I feeling as I've stepped into this house with my inner child?

Am I being guided to a particular room in this house?

Am I being guided to stay where I am?

Am I being guided to go upstairs?

Is there maybe a downstairs,

A basement?

Is there a back of the house that I can go to?

Completely trust what you're being shown.

My words are only and only and only pointers.

Whatever is showing up for you is what you need to see,

Is what you need to process,

Is what you need to sense.

Now,

At this stage,

Your inner child has guided you to a particular area,

To a particular room,

To a particular spot in the house.

And as you stand outside this house,

Ask your inner child,

What does this house mean to you?

What does this represent for you?

Is there a specific memory,

Feeling or a thought associated with this room that needs to come up today?

Is there anything unprocessed behind this door that my inner child is holding on to?

Now sit with this inquiry.

Whatever shows up,

Whatever comes up,

Be it a physical sensation,

Be it a thought,

Be it a memory,

Be it a vision,

Be it a symbol,

Anything that needs to come to my awareness today,

Anything that I can free,

Heal or see today,

Now starts to show up.

Now the kind of feelings that I may be feeling right now,

Which can be fear,

Which can be sadness,

Are the exact feelings that need to be processed today.

Behind this room,

Behind this door is something that lives in my body that I have not looked at for a long time.

And it may or may not be associated with a time or a memory from my childhood.

I sit and I let those feelings come up now.

Now as I've opened this door for healing,

I'm going to now offer comforting words to my inner child.

I'll put my left palm on the center of my chest,

On my heart center.

And I can repeat these words,

These affirmations,

Silently or out loud.

It's okay to feel whatever you're feeling.

You are not alone.

I am here for you.

And I will always be here for you.

I love and accept you just as you are.

You are safe here.

It's okay to feel whatever you're feeling.

You are not alone.

I'm here for you.

And I will always be here for you.

I love and accept you just as you are.

You are safe here.

And as you've said the words,

Just let your body feel what it's feeling.

Let yourself see whatever is being shown to you.

And the memory,

The thought,

The vision,

The part,

The feeling,

The sensation that had to be processed today,

Allow that work to happen.

Now at this stage you can either pause this meditation and continue this healing.

And if you think your body is ready then we can gently start to come out of this journey.

Now as we come to the end of this journey,

I will take my inner child's hand once again.

And we now leave the house wherever we were.

We are going to leave,

Leave,

Leave,

Leave,

Leave.

We are going to leave,

Leave,

Leave,

Leave.

Go back out to the garden where we were.

Back to where we started.

And I speak to my inner child.

You are safe.

You are loved.

And it's okay to let go of the past.

As you've said these words,

As you've done this healing,

Feel the bond between the two of you strengthening.

So that next time when you work with this part,

You can tap into it.

Now at this stage,

If there is anything you want to say to your inner child in your own words,

There is anything you want to say to your inner child in your own words,

Now is the time to do that.

Thank you for the healing today.

Thank you for working with me today.

And anything else you may want to add.

Now as I've said gratitude,

I'm going to leave safely my inner child into this garden.

And then I'm going to start bringing my awareness back,

Back to my physical space,

Back to my room,

Back to my chair,

Back to my bat,

Back to the top of my head,

Back to my body,

My nose,

My lips,

My throat,

My shoulders,

My arms,

My chest,

My abdomen,

My legs,

My knees,

My calves.

Then I take my awareness to the back of my breath,

Back of my eyes,

Wiggle my fingers,

Wiggle my toes.

And just taking one moment to quietly absorb the healing that has taken place.

Slowly,

Gently,

When you're ready,

Fully bring yourselves back and open your eyes.

Now thank yourself for taking this time to connect with your inner child.

Know that you can return to this place safely whenever you need to.

Whatever you shifted today,

The healing has begun.

And over the next few hours,

Days,

Weeks,

You'll fully integrate the shift that you've made.

And you're welcome to repeat this journey whenever you feel guided to.
