Hello beautiful soul,

I am so glad that you're here.

Whatever brought you to this moment,

Whatever you're feeling right now,

There is space for all of it.

Space for you to be exactly as you are.

Let's begin by simply arriving,

Just finding whatever position feels most supportive,

Most nurturing for you right now.

Here from the start,

Simply turn your attention to your breath.

This anchor that is always available,

Always here,

A touchstone to which you can at any time turn.

Breathing in stability,

Allowing yourself to ground in this moment,

And breathing out any sense of overwhelm.

And again,

In,

Here,

Now,

And out,

Letting go,

In,

And out,

Arriving.

There is no need to change what you're feeling.

There's no need to fix anything.

In this moment,

There is no need to be anywhere other than exactly where you are.

Feel your breath,

Steady,

Reliable,

Reminding you that you can be safe even in the midst of challenging emotions.

Slowly,

Become aware of your body,

Just gently aware,

Knowing you are safe within your body.

Starting with your feet,

Recognizing that they serve to ground you,

That they offer stability,

Support.

And with your next inhale,

All the way to your feet,

And then letting go.

Tune into your legs,

Strong enough to hold you even when emotions feel overwhelming.

Your hips,

Allowing them to be soft and open,

Just breathing,

And your belly,

The place where so many emotions often live,

Breathing tenderness into this space,

Offering love to yourself,

Becoming aware of your heart in your chest,

Perhaps heavy right now,

Perhaps tight,

Breathing in compassion directly into your heart space,

Breathing in,

And breathing out.

Your shoulders,

Aware of any tension you're carrying,

And inviting them to soften,

Even if only a little,

Releasing.

Your arms,

Available to you for self-comfort,

Allowing yourself to wrap your arms around you if this brings you more peace,

More steadiness,

More comfort.

Your hands,

Placing them anywhere that feels soothing,

Becoming aware of your face,

Allowing whatever expression wants to be there,

Aware of your jaw,

Unclenching if that's available to you,

Just breathing,

In and out,

I invite you,

Place both hands wherever feels most comforting right now,

Perhaps on your heart or your belly,

Or again wrapped around you in a gentle hug.

What you're feeling right now,

It's not wrong,

It's not too much,

It's not something to be ashamed of or afraid of,

It's human,

It's real,

And it's part of your journey.

Breathing in,

And breathing out.

Breathing with your emotions rather than against them,

Imagining your breath,

Creating space around what you're feeling,

Not to push it away,

Just to give it room,

To allow it to be here without overwhelming you.

Breathing in,

And breathing out.

And with so much gentleness,

Allow yourself to receive this question,

What does this emotion need from me right now?

Perhaps it needs to be felt,

To be acknowledged,

To be met with compassion,

To be given time,

To be honored as part of your human experience.

You don't have to solve anything right now,

You don't have to feel better right now,

The only thing for this moment is simply to be here,

Right now,

Simply being with yourself,

And breathing in,

And out.

Imagine breathing in calm,

Peace,

Love,

Breathing it directly in to whatever you're feeling,

Not to change it,

Only to surround it with kindness,

With acceptance,

To remind yourself that you can hold both difficulty and loving presence at the same time.

You are strong enough for what you're feeling.

You have moved through difficult emotions before,

You will navigate this too.

You already are,

Dear one,

Even in this moment,

Simply by slowing down.

Breathing in self-compassion,

Breathing out any judgments about what you're experiencing.

You are not broken,

You are not too sensitive,

You are not lacking,

You are beautiful.

You are beautifully,

Courageously,

And perfectly human.

Breathing in,

Feeling the areas where your body is being supported,

Feeling what is holding you,

Feel the air expanding and softly releasing from your chest.

Tune in to the support that surrounds you,

Seen and unseen,

Knowing that you are not alone in this,

That what you're feeling is every bit a part of the shared human experience of growth and change.

This too shall pass.

This too has something to teach you,

Something to offer.

This too is part of your becoming.

Breathing in,

And breathing out.

As we begin to slowly close this practice,

Rest in knowing that you can handle what you're feeling,

That emotions are temporary visitors,

That you are the steady loving witness to all that moves through you.

You are safe,

You are held,

You are loved.

Breathing in,

And breathing out.

When you're ready,

Begin to gently move,

Perhaps keeping your hands on your heart for a moment longer as you gently return,

And if they have been closed,

And when it feels right,

I invite you to slowly open your eyes.

As you gently move forward from this moment,

I encourage you to carry this gentleness with you,

This compassion for yourself,

This knowing that all emotions are welcome and temporary.

And from here,

Dear one,

May your day be blessed.
