Welcome.

I'm Bethany,

And I'm excited to be here with you today.

This space is here for you to soften,

To center,

And to gently reconnect with the quiet intelligence and compassion of your heart.

Allow yourself to settle into a comfortable position.

Let your breath begin to slow,

And if it feels right,

Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.

This is not a practice of effort.

It is a practice of remembering,

Of returning,

Of connecting to the steady rhythm of your own heart.

We'll start with bringing your attention to the center of your chest and begin to notice any sensation,

Warmth,

Cold,

Tightness,

Or stillness.

There's nothing to fix here.

We're just breathing and noticing,

Taking a pulse of what's here now.

So you may place a hand over your heart if that feels supportive for you and allow this to be a gesture of presence,

Of connection inward.

As you inhale,

Feel the breath and chest rising gently.

And as you exhale,

Soften around the heart space and continue to notice what shows up.

We're allowing the rhythm of your breath to begin to meet the rhythm of your heart.

I invite you to inhale slowly for a count of four and exhale slowly for a count of six.

Let's do that together again.

Inhaling,

Two,

Three,

Four.

And exhale,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six.

And again,

We inhale,

Two,

Three,

Four.

And exhale,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six.

Continue the slow rhythmic breath for the next few moments,

Allowing it to be gentle and natural.

And if your mind wanders,

Just return to the breath and know that that is completely normal.

It happens to all of us.

So bring your attention back to the breath,

To the center of your chest,

To the feeling of arriving in your own heart.

With each cycle,

Imagine a wave of calm moving through you.

And with each breath,

You're inviting balance,

Connection,

And inner steadiness.

Now,

Imagine the center of your chest,

A glowing soft light.

It may be warm,

Golden,

Or rose-colored,

Or a bright green light.

Allow it to come and be whatever feels true for you.

With each inhale,

Notice the light expanding out,

Radiating forward,

Backward,

Above,

And below.

And with each exhale,

It settles gently into the body again,

Soothing,

Grounding,

And filling you in that heart space.

This light is not something you need to create.

It's already here.

It's always been here.

You're simply tuning to it now.

Let yourself rest in this gentle glow,

Inhaling and allowing it to expand,

And exhaling,

Feeling it come back into the heart.

Notice how you feel as you do this.

Notice any changes or shifts in your heart space.

Do you notice a softer presence?

A calm,

Clear awareness?

A calmness that grows?

Whatever you're noticing,

This is your self-energy,

Your true self,

The part of you that's always been here.

It's the you that sees,

Feels,

And is compassionately present with you.

You don't need to hold onto it tightly.

You can simply let yourself rest here and feel this presence of this warm,

Glowing light being with you.

You may even notice that this is your spirit or your soul,

Or maybe just what you call your observing self.

Let this light around your heart gently remain as you return to the rhythm of your breath.

Return now to the feeling of your body and begin to notice the room around you.

Know that this space and experience in your heart is always available to return to.

Always ready to guide you.

Always connected to the truth of who you are,

Sacred and whole.

When you feel ready,

Take one more breath in and a long,

Soft breath out.

Gently open your eyes,

Carrying with you this quiet connection into whatever comes next.
