Welcome to your guided meditation.

For today's meditation we'll use imagery and guided visualization to ground ourselves.

This meditation is good when you're feeling frazzled,

When you're feeling pulled in multiple directions,

When you're feeling stressed.

When you're ready find a comfortable seated position maybe on a cushion,

A yoga block,

Or a bolster.

You could sit in a chair or even lie down on the floor or a bed.

Start to close down your eyes.

Let your eyelids become heavy.

Take a big breath in through the nose and a big sigh out the mouth.

Again big breath in through the nose.

Big open mouth releasing breath.

One more like that.

Big deep inhale and a big audible exhale and then let go of control of the breath.

Let the breath become natural and start to visualize the flow,

The in and out of the breath.

See the breath as it moves through the body.

Feel the weight of the body with the inhales,

The weight of the body with the exhale breath.

Imagine the breath like a light moving through the body.

This light can be any color,

Any intensity.

It could be bright or soft light.

Feeling the breath moving up and down the body and then with your next exhale imagine the breath moving from the body to the earth.

As you breathe in imagine that light coming up into the body maybe to the heart space and as you exhale sending that light deep down into the earth creating a tether grounding you here.

As you breathe in the light fills you with ease,

Support,

Nourishment and as you breathe out you lean into that support sinking deeper.

Continue like this imagining the light moving into the body and to the earth.

Just watching that light,

Feeling relaxed with each passing breath.

Imagining this cord of light nourishing you,

Supporting you.

When you can imagine with each exhale anything you've been carrying that's heavy,

That's tiresome being pulled away from you,

Absorbed by the earth.

You can feel that sense of relief feeling grounded and even as you feel grounded you feel lighter,

Freer,

More at ease.

We'll stay with this image for just another minute and now visualize the light coming back into the heart space.

With each inhale and exhale just imagine that light swirling at the heart,

Softening the heart,

Opening the heart and then from the heart imagine that light starting to spread through the whole body.

This light brings ease as it fills the body from the crown of the head to the soles of the feet.

Know that you are here in this moment and in this moment you are exactly where you need to be.

Start to let go of the image.

When you're ready take a big deep breath in through the nose here.

With an open mouth sigh it all out.

Big exhale release.

This concludes your guided meditation.

You can float the eyes open when you're ready and enjoy the rest of your day in peace.

Until next time,

Om Shanti Shanti Shanti.

Peace,

Peace,

Peace.
