Early morning is the best time to prepare for the day ahead.

We will be using this opportunity to relax our body and mind and use the breath to vitalise us,

Giving us an excellent preparation for the day ahead.

Ideally you will need to get up half an hour earlier than usual,

But if this is not possible,

You can listen to this audio while travelling in the train,

But not while driving.

Firstly we will relax all the body by closing our eyes and breathing through the nose if you can,

Learning how to elongate the breath.

After this we will visualise that all our body is refuelled with vitality,

Focusing deep within ourselves.

We will do a few breathing exercises,

Listening to relaxing music.

Then we will continue to breathe like this for a few minutes,

Listening to relaxing music.

Waking up you will feel more energised and any time you want to access this energy you can use this breathing technique.

Let's begin.

What I'd like you to do is relax your toes.

Relax.

Focus on your toes.

And just imagine any tension melting away,

Letting go,

So that your feet now feel relaxed.

Relaxed.

Focus on your ankles.

Imagine all the tension there just moving away,

Leaving you,

Leaving your body.

As you focus on your knees,

Imagine your knees becoming soft and relaxed.

Your legs are feeling free,

Lifted of any tension.

Focus now on your thighs,

Letting go,

Letting go of any tension there.

Just imagine it moving away,

Letting you be free.

Your legs feel so relaxed and light.

Your muscles are becoming softer and softer and letting go.

Focus now on your pelvic area.

Imagine it becoming soft and relaxed,

Letting go of any tension in all your organs within your body.

Just imagine,

Like waves,

All the tension leaving you.

Imagine your organs working softly and smoothly for you,

So that now you have let go of any tension in your stomach.

It feels light and soft.

You are feeling light and soft as you drift deeper and deeper into relaxation.

Focusing on your chest,

Let go,

Release any tension or tightness and imagine your chest becoming light and free,

Your breath flowing with ease.

As you breathe,

Breathe deeply,

Breathing in vitality through your nose,

Allowing the air to come and vitalise all your cells within your body.

Focus now on your neck and relax any tension in the neck.

Let go,

Pull your shoulders down,

Further down and your neck up,

Higher and higher.

Feel your chest rising,

Just slightly,

As you allow yourself to breathe deeply.

Imagine your neck relaxing and your shoulders flopping down,

Letting go of any tension in your shoulders.

Now I want you to focus on relaxing your chest muscles.

Imagine now that as you breathe,

You breathe softly and gently,

Focusing on your breathing.

Imagine it becoming gentle and long.

Focus on your breath.

Your breath is precious.

Your mind is beautiful,

Just like a pearl,

And your breath is a string that holds the beautiful pearl.

Imagine as you inhale deeply,

Focusing and keeping your mouth closed,

Inhaling through your nose,

Inhale and imagine the air coming into your lungs,

Giving vital air to your body and all the organs which allow you to breathe.

Imagine all the cells in your body welcoming the air as it comes in,

Knowing that the air will give you vital life to your body and your cells are relaxed,

Smooth,

Letting go of any tension that might cause tightness.

The air is welcomed by your bronchi and all the little bronchioles are widening to allow the beautiful air to come into your body,

Giving you life and health.

So that now you feel light and relaxed,

Take a deep breath,

Inhale deeply and put your hand on your navel point.

As you breathe,

Inhale deeply.

Imagine your navel point moving away from your spine.

Then as you inhale,

Come to the top of your breath,

Pause for a few seconds and then exhale slowly and deeply.

As you exhale,

Your navel point comes back down to your spine.

Breathe gently my friend.

As you exhale through your nose,

Focus on the movement of the breath coming up from your spine.

Hold for a few seconds and then inhale and feel your navel point rise away from your spine,

Allowing you to fully experience your breath.

As you inhale,

Your navel point,

Your belly just expands.

Focus on your belly expanding as you inhale.

Inhale deeply and pause at the end of the inhale.

Exhale.

Now your navel point moves back down towards your spine on the exhale.

At the end of the exhale,

Pause for a few seconds and then inhale again.

As you inhale,

Your navel point moves away from your spine,

Your belly expands.

Deeply inhale.

When you come to the end of the inhale,

Pause and then exhale.

Your navel point moves back down towards your spine,

Shrinking down again.

Breathe deeply.

This is how you will breathe.

This is how you should be breathing.

Like a baby,

Watching babies breathe deeply.

Remember as you inhale,

Your navel point moves away from your spine.

As you exhale,

It comes back towards your spine.

Continue breathing like this for two minutes.

Now what I want you to do is focus on increasing the inhale so that you take a deeper inhale,

A longer inhale.

Remembering as you inhale,

Your navel point moves away from your spine.

As you exhale,

It comes back towards your spine.

Increase your inhale longer and longer.

Pause at the end of the inhale for a few seconds and then slowly exhale through your nose.

Now what I like you to do as you breathe,

Inhale,

Count up to 8.

1,

2,

3,

4.

Exhale for 4.

1,

2,

3,

4.

Pause.

Inhale,

Count to 8.

1,

2,

3,

4,

5,

6,

7,

8.

Pause.

Exhale,

Count to 4.

1,

2,

3,

4.

Pause.

Inhale,

Count to 8.

Continue this for two minutes.

Inhaling,

Counting up to 8.

Pausing and then exhaling,

Counting down to 4.

Breathe deeply,

My friend.

Come out.

Gently open your eyes,

Feeling refreshed and vitalized,

Ready for the day ahead,

Prepared that anytime you want to gain access to energy and vitality,

You can access this through your breath.

Take time out to focus on your breathing.

Take time out to connect with your breath.

Allow your breath to work for you and with you.

Take time out to focus on your breathing and accept lovingly this gift given to you by the universe.
