Hi,

Frankie here,

Welcome to this inner child meditation.

Find yourself in a comfortable space where you can fully relax and let go.

Allow your breath to be your guide as you open your heart to the child within.

This inner child meditation is part of a powerful series to help you reconnect and heal your inner child.

Each meditation in this series focuses on different aspects of inner child work.

Identifying and healing emotional wounds,

Rediscovering joy,

Offering forgiveness and reclaiming your inner strength.

By nurturing your inner child,

You create a foundation of self love,

Confidence and emotional freedom.

If or when emotions come up,

Just let them flow,

Only yourself and your inner child.

You can also push pause or come back tomorrow if you feel overwhelmed.

Take a moment now to settle in,

Knowing that this is a safe place for you to heal and grow.

Let's begin,

Take a deep breath in and slowly release it out.

Another deep breath in and let it go.

Allow your breath to settle into a natural rhythm of slow deep breaths in and out of your body.

Today we will explore and release any fear,

Pain or wounds held by your inner child.

Through breath,

Compassion and love,

You will create a safe space where your inner child feels seen,

Held,

Healed and heard.

As your breath begins to soften your body,

Let your shoulders relax and drop.

Allow your jaw to release and your forehead to smooth.

Let the tension melt from your hands and fingers.

Let your belly be soft and open as you take breaths in and out.

With each breath,

Feel yourself sinking deeper into stillness.

Imagine the space around you becoming lighter,

Warmer and filled with a soft golden glow.

I invite you to bring your awareness to your heart center.

Feel the soft rise and fall of your chest and belly as you breathe.

Imagine a gentle golden light beginning to glow within your heart space.

This is the energy of unconditional love.

It is pure,

It is safe and it is healing.

With each inhale,

Feel this golden light growing stronger.

With each exhale,

Feel it expanding through your body.

Flowing down into your arms and legs,

Filling you with warmth and peace.

From this place of safety and warmth,

Begin to visualize yourself as a child.

Let the image form naturally.

You may see yourself at a specific age.

Maybe four,

Five or six years old.

Or perhaps another age.

Or maybe more of a general sense of your younger self.

Notice the expression on your inner child's face.

Are they smiling or hesitant?

Are they guarded or relaxed?

However they appear,

Just know that it is perfect.

Now imagine walking towards your inner child.

Moving slowly and gently.

See yourself now kneeling down so that you are at eye level with them.

Let them know you are here with them.

Tell them you are safe.

If it feels comfortable,

Gently take their hand into yours.

Look into their eyes and say,

I see you.

You are safe with me.

I am here now for you.

Notice how your inner child responds.

Do they pull away?

Do they lean toward you?

However they react,

Honour it with love and patience.

Now gently ask your inner child,

What are you afraid of?

Just let the answer naturally arise.

You may feel a memory surfacing.

A moment of feeling abandoned,

Hurt or misunderstood.

Or you may feel a deep emotion.

Perhaps fear,

Sadness or even anger.

Whatever arises,

Stay with it.

Hold space for it without judgement.

If you see tears in your inner child's eyes,

Let them cry.

If you feel sadness in your chest,

Breathe through it.

Allow it to be seen.

Allow it to be felt without any resistance.

Take a deep breath in and slowly exhale.

Now as you hold your inner child,

Begin to speak words of reassurance.

It's okay to feel afraid.

It's safe to feel this now.

I am here with you.

You are no longer alone.

I will protect you.

As you speak these words,

Imagine that the golden light in your heart is expanding and flowing towards your inner child.

See it wrapping around them like a soft protective blanket.

Feel the warmth and safety of this light holding them and calming them.

And now tell your inner child,

You are not responsible for what happened.

It is not your fault.

You didn't do anything wrong.

You are loved exactly as you are.

Notice the tension or fear your inner child was holding begins to soften.

Perhaps their shoulders are relaxing.

Maybe their expression changes.

Let them know they are safe.

They are held.

Now gently gather your inner child into your arms.

Hold them close to your heart.

Let them feel the steady beat of your heart as you breathe with them.

Say to them,

You are forgiven for anything you feel you did wrong.

You can release any pain you've been holding.

You don't need to carry this anymore.

Imagine the golden light in your heart growing brighter and stronger.

With each breath this light begins to dissolve any pain,

Fear or heaviness held by your inner child.

Let this light clear away any shadows,

Filling the space with warmth and peace.

Now let your inner child step back.

See them surrounded by the golden light,

Glowing with warmth and peace.

Let them know that you are always there for them.

Now take a deep breath in.

And slowly release it out.

Bring your awareness back into your body.

Feel the surface beneath you.

Notice the gentle rise and fall of your breath.

Feel the warmth of your hands resting.

And when you're ready,

You can gently open your eyes.

Take a moment just to sit in stillness.

Allowing the peace and connection to settle within you.

Know that you have given your inner child a gift of safety,

Love and healing today.

And you can return to this place whenever you need to reconnect.

You are safe.

You are whole.

You are loved.
