This meditation is a gift you give to yourself, because you have done so much and carry so much responsibility on your shoulders. You deserve a bit of calm and peace in your life. In this meditation we create a state of calm allowing peace to move through, relaxing your body and mind.

Welcome.

Let's begin this meditation with our awareness on our breath.

And we begin to draw the breath into the body.

We draw the breath into the body,

Deep into the belly.

And then we release.

We let it go.

Draw the breath in,

Release and let it go.

We begin our meditation in a state of relaxation,

A feeling of calm.

And visualize or imagine a wave of relaxation flowing through you.

And this wave of relaxation brings with it a sense of calm.

And as it pulls back out,

It takes with it any tension,

Any heaviness.

We can allow this wave of relaxation to match our breath.

As we draw that breath in,

We visualize a wave flowing through us.

And with our exhale,

We imagine the wave moving back out.

And we draw the breath in,

Bringing in a sense of calm.

We release the breath out,

Taking with it any heaviness,

Any pain.

And as we move through today's meditation,

Let's also find ourselves rooted,

Grounded to the earth.

And we visualize roots growing from the soles of our feet.

And we visualize these roots growing wide.

We let them grow deep.

Imagine these roots growing all the way to her core and grabbing on.

And as we visualize our roots growing so deep to the earth's core,

We feel a sense of safety.

As we tether ourself to Mother Gaia,

We feel safe and secure.

It is in this safe space that we can recoup and we can recover.

We can take a moment for ourself.

I know that for so long you have carried the weight of the world upon your shoulders.

And I know that you are tired.

So very tired.

So this meditation is for you.

It is a gift,

One that you deserve in this very moment,

A moment to care for yourself.

This meditation is like a blanket of love that we wrap around you.

Gently wrapping yourself in the comfort of love.

Soften your body and relax into this comforting blanket of love.

Breathe deeply,

Allowing your breath to flow into your entire being.

And as we breathe in,

We can sense the body softening a bit deeper.

Soften a bit more.

Relax your body onto the surface beneath you and allow yourself to be held.

Know that in this moment you are loved.

Bring your breath to your heart space,

Gently breathing into the heart.

Gently breathing into the heart,

Allowing the heart to soften.

We continue to soften a bit deeper,

Softening the body,

Softening the heart.

Let's also allow our nervous system to relax,

To soften.

And visualize your nervous system calming.

Visualize a sense of peace moving through the body.

And with our body soft and relaxed,

We bring our awareness to our head space,

To our busy mind,

And we allow our thoughts to drift gently by.

We begin to quiet the mind.

Visualize clouds floating by.

And these clouds are carrying away any thoughts,

Any worries.

Relax.

Settle your body into this moment.

This is a gift that you give yourself.

The gift of being in this present moment.

The gift of feeling relaxed and calm.

Breathe gently,

Dears.

Breathe.

We relax the legs.

We relax the belly.

We soften the back of the body.

We soften the chest.

We relax the shoulders down away from the ears.

And we settle onto that surface beneath us.

We release any tension we hold in our jaw.

We relax the muscles around the eyes,

Across the forehead and the eyebrows.

Relax your scalp.

In this moment,

You are relaxed.

And there is a feeling of calm flowing in.

You are at peace.

And we enjoy this feeling as long as we are able to,

Knowing that any tightness that starts to seep back in can be easily swept away with a wave of relaxation flowing through the body and pulling back out.

You have the power to soften and to relax.

You have the ability to allow calm to flow in.

You choose to be at peace.

And just as easy as it is to bring the body into a state of relaxation,

We can come back to our day.

And we do that now.

We bring our awareness back to our breath.

We bring our awareness to our body as it presses against the surface beneath us.

We bring our awareness to our feet rooted to the earth.

And begin to draw those roots back up into the soles of your feet.

And as you pull those roots up,

You take with them a bit of earth wisdom.

Bring your awareness back to this present moment as you begin to come back to your day.

But before we leave this state of relaxation,

Let's set an intention.

Let's set the intention of how you want to move through this day.

And place your hands onto your beautiful heart.

And let those hands rest heavy as if to give your heart a hug.

We listen for the message that the heart has for us.

And we set our intention.
