Hey,
It's me,
Sasha Marie,
And I'm just so glad to be practicing with you today.
Today our focus is on feeling that tiny spark.
Sometimes we can feel less than or shameful because all we have is just a tiny spark.
Now let's challenge those thoughts that what you have is not enough.
So if it feels okay,
Gently close your eyes or find a nice soft downward gaze and begin to turn inward slowly,
Becoming aware of the you that is here now.
Let go of anything that happened today and feel free to land safely in this present moment.
Use your breath to continue to soften,
Breathing deeply in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Shift your awareness from your headspace down into your heart space.
And as you continue to breathe,
Notice the rise and the fall of your chest,
Creating such a subtle rhythm of being.
Now take a moment to adjust yourself,
Knowing that you have full permission to move at any time during this meditation and really just find a comfortable position for you.
Settle into the softness,
Settle into the stillness,
And just notice the you that is here now.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Then out through your mouth.
Deep breath in through your nose,
And out through your mouth.
And one more time,
Deep breath in through your nose,
And out through your mouth.
My friend,
I wonder if you've ever felt the flicker of a flame within you.
Maybe it was so vibrant at once and now it just feels like a tiny little spark.
It makes so much sense to feel distant from your purpose,
From your dreams,
And when life just demands so much more than we can handle.
Let's breathe through that.
Let's take a deep breath in through the nose,
And out through the mouth.
And let's lean into the box breath.
It's a super simple breathing technique.
We breathe in for a count of four,
Hold for a count of four,
And release for a count of four.
So let's breathe in for one,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Hold for one,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Release for one,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And hold for one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Again,
Breathe in for one,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Hold for one,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Release for one,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Hold for one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
One more time,
Breathe in for one,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Hold for one,
Two,
Three,
Four,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Release for one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Now just return your breath back to a normal pace.
And just notice if your mind is wandering,
It's okay.
Just gently bring it back to this moment in loving awareness.
So I'd like you to consider this.
What if curiosity rather than forceful action is the fuel that's needed to rekindle the spark?
What tiny question with gentle nudge and what might make this spark burn brighter?
What can fam the flame?
What can fuel the fire?
I'll give you a moment to pause and reflect.
Remember to stay with your breath.
It takes so much courage to honor this tiny spark and to not demand that it be a full blown bonfire yet.
Research shows us that self-compassion and accepting where we are actually opens the pathway to growth.
Continue to deepen your breath,
Take a deep breath in through your nose and release out through your mouth.
Just think about your dreams as seeds beneath the winter soil.
So they may be dormant,
But that little spark,
That little spark of life is there.
So let me ask you this.
What kind of small nourishment,
Maybe a bit of sunlight,
A drop of water might awaken that little seed's potential,
That might awaken said spark?
I'll pause as you reflect.
So maybe the spark is showing you that it's not about this big grand arrival,
But it's about the joy of appreciating the path itself.
Like what one small step and what simple act align with that one small step?
But it's about the joy of appreciating the path itself.
Like what one small step and what simple act align with your values might help you feel a little bit more satisfaction right now?
Again,
I'll pause as you reflect.
It's okay to simply be with whatever feelings arise right now,
Whether it's hope,
Doubt,
Maybe a tinge of shame or guilt.
It's all welcome here.
Just let these feelings be here and be present without judgment.
You're doing so good.
If you need to,
Just breathe in the empowering feelings through your nose,
And then release all the feelings that no longer serve you through your mouth,
Like the guilt,
The shame,
The discouragement.
And just notice what's coming up for you in this moment.
Ralph Emerson writes,
The creation of a thousand forests is in one acorn.
That bonfire really does start with one spark.
I hope you're leaning into the truth that a tiny spark is all that you really need.
This spark of your purpose,
Your dreams,
Your wishes may need some tending to.
We may need to put some fuel in that fire or blow it just a bit.
But it's far from gone.
So be gentle with yourself and nurture that spark with curiosity and self-compassion.
And just trust that the journey will lead you forward.
The journey will fan the flame.
As you move forward,
There will be more moments to fan the flame.
So if your heart could speak now,
What words of encouragement would it have to offer?
Listen to that inner voice and know that you have the strength to navigate through this.
Become aware of the subtle shifts within you.
Become aware of the subtle shifts within you.
And notice the contrast between where we began and where we are now.
Witness the version of you who emerges from this meditation just a bit more aligned,
A bit more hopeful,
And a bit more on fire,
Ma'am.
I hope it lights up your path and I hope it guides you towards the dreams and purposes within your heart.
So whenever you're ready,
You can gently open your eyes.
And I invite you to take this journey moment by moment and bit by bit.
And so it is.
I love you,
My friend.
